AI literacy is the knowledge, mindsets, and practices people need to confidently navigate a world where artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday life. It helps learners understand how AI works and how to use generative AI safely, ethically, and effectively.
GenAI literacy requires a foundation of knowledge about how these tools and technologies work and their impacts.
These practices are organized into three domains: Safety, Ethics, and Effectiveness, which work together to support responsible and thoughtful use of AI.

Mindsets Mindsets are the beliefs that guide how we approach GenAI, providing the foundation for safe, ethical, and effective use.
Practices Clear, observable behaviors that help learners use AI safely, ethically, and effectively. These habits are designed to work together and grow through ongoing practice.
