1st Pan-Hellenic Medical Technology Forum

The Association of Health – Research & Biotechnology Industry (SEIV) and Ethos Events organize the 1st Pan-Hellenic Medical Technology Forum, which will take place on Wednesday, 5 November 2014, at the Divani Caravel Hotel (2, V. Alexandrou Avenue, 16121, Athens).

This forum aims to highlight the contribution of Medical Technology to achieving a sustainable National Health System (NHS) and also the importance of innovation and early diagnosis, mainly in a “memorandum country” like Greece. A special goal of the organizers is to inform social organizations, state institutions and all the competent authorities on the role that the sector of Medical Technology could play in the improvement of health services as well as the rationalization of the health care system as a whole, through the utilization of best practices, innovative ideas and thoroughly tested products. Among other topics, we will discuss the absorption of NSRF (National Strategic Reference Framework) programs funds, the procurements procedures, the new European regulations on Medical Technology consumables and the importance of business ethics in everyday practice. In order to promote social dialogue, patients associations will also participate actively in the conference, so that all interested sides are offered the opportunity to improve their communication and collaboration channels.
