: h t wi Learn about buoyancy on Explora Primary an online resource in the Kids Digital Library

WHAT TO DO: 1. Flatten, roll, indent and pinch the clay to create a basic form. 2. Use tools like a fork, toothpick, straw, rolling pin, cookie cutters or scissors to further manipulate Model Magic. 3. If you would like to re-use Model Magic, place it in a re-sealable plastic storage container. 4. When you are happy with your creation, leave Model Magic out to dry. It will dry to the touch overnight and dries completely in 72 hours. 5. If you like, you can further decorate your creation with markers or paint.

STEAM THINGS UP:

Make a boat and experiment with what different objects it can carry on water. Try attaching a sail to your boat - what kind of sails work best?
