Our experienced adult staff knows that the most important role we play in our campers’ lives is to provide a safe place to build character, inspire gratitude and spark friendships.
Our exciting 2019 program line-up includes 60+ award-winning activities, uniquely designed to encourage exploration and personal growth. We provide the tools to promote creativity, develop leadership skills, build self-esteem and improve athletic ability. WE TRANSFORM THE PRISTINE CAMPUS OF WILLIAM ALLEN MIDDLE SCHOOL (WAMS)
into a wonderfully welcoming camp setting offering exceptional, authentic camp experiences that evoke lasting, treasured memories. ESF Camps at WAMS is home to a community of children and staff. Its campus features extensive indoor and outdoor facilities, providing the perfect setting for campers of all ages to learn and grow. Our exceptional standards include providing a safe, fun, and comfortable environment. The nine-acre campus includes 50 classrooms and sporting facilities that include: basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, lacrosse, softball and football. Under the guidance and watchful eye of our Red Cross certified lifeguards and instructors, campers will develop life skills while learning to swim confidently in our state-of-the-art, outdoor swimming pool; the largest of its kind in the area. Our well-established program is designed to be compatible with the unique and ever-changing abilities and skill levels of each camper.

Learn about food preparation and kitchen safety, explore helpful hints for measuring, chopping, mixing, garnishing, and much more.

SIGN LANGUAGE
WEEK OF JULY 8-12
Sign language is more than hand gestures - it’s a beautiful, visually perceived language in which facial expressions and body movements are used to communicate words, emotions, and sound. This TLA gives you the tools to interact and communicate with the world around you in a completely different way. Work with your instructors to customize your ASL experience and showcase your newly acquired language by signing a song, poem, skit and more at the end of the week.

This exciting new TLA will keep your mind moving, spark your imagination and take teambuilding to a whole new level! Join us for a week of intrigue as you and your team use critical thinking, ingenuity, collaboration and teamwork to solve a series of puzzles, riddles and physical initiatives. Utilizing various strategies, Rube Goldberg machines and other miscellaneous materials, your objective will be to solve the carefully designed mysteries, problems or challenging puzzles of the day while keeping your mind sharp and your thinking cap on!

Finalize your Carnival booths and practice your performance skills in preparation for the exciting Main Event hosted for Day Campers on the last day!
SONGWRITING AND MUSIC PRODUCTION
WEEK OF AUGUST 5-9
Explore music fundamentals and enjoy daily “jam sessions” with a professional producer. Compose and record your own hit songs with high-tech, multi-media technology using the Garage Band and MadPad apps on an iPad. For the grand finale, perform at the annual “ESF Music Awards”. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Everyone loves emoji’s - those cute and colorful symbols that communicate more than emotions! In this creative TLA, you will use digital graphics to layer emoji’s of different sizes, colors and shapes to create self-portraits, landscapes, and creative works of art. At the end of the week, print out and mat your favorite creation made from these iconic symbols to display at ESF’s first-ever Emoji Art Exhibition.

Over the course of the week, they are introduced to new programming concepts and fundamentals while creating unique projects with real-world applications.

Campers have the opportunity to go “beyond the game” in ESF’s first eSports camp! eSports or “electronic sports” is one of the fastest growing industries in the world and there is much more to it than simply playing a game. On this exciting journey, gamers and their teams enhance their critical thinking and communication skills through collaboration and the development of strategic tactics. Using the exciting game platform – NBA 2K19®, a basketball simulation video game, teams optimize their overall skill level, develop training routines, execute strategic plans and develop professional level playbooks! As a culminating event, campers will compete against gamers from other ESF camp locations through this online gaming environment. Will your team be the last one standing?

INDIE GAME DEVELOPER IN ROBLOX®
Learn what it takes to produce a real video game in this introduction to programming and game design. Using the massively popular Roblox® gaming platform, campers use drag-and-drop tools, the LUA programming language and a healthy dose of creativity to develop real, functioning games. At the end of this course, campers will release their games on the Roblox® website, allowing their friends to download and play their creations.

Extend your camp day by using ESF’s Club OT program, on a weekly or a drop-in basis. Start your day as early as 7:30am and stay as late as 6:00pm. Club OT campers are divided into groups by age and will enjoy NEW and ENHANCED activities including sports, games, crafts, book club, drama, and more. Afternoon snacks and refreshments are provided.

MAKE A SPLASH AT THE POOL!
Swimming is one of the most exciting parts of the camp day. Under the guidance and watchful eye of our American Red Cross certified lifeguards and instructors, campers develop life skills too valuable to measure while learning how to swim confidently in a safe and fun environment. We maintain a low staff to camper ratio.
We develop swimmers utilizing the latest teaching techniques and coaching methods. Beginning with water safety skills and basic fundamentals, we then move on to progressive stroke development and refinement of techniques. Our well-established program is designed to be compatible with the unique and ever-changing abilities and skill levels of each camper.

Our “Save Your Cart” feature allows you to start your enrollment selections, save them, share them with family and friends, and then finish enrollment at a later time. Take advantage of Employer Sponsored Tax Benefit Plans and Federal Child and Dependent Care Credits when you attend ESF.
A 15% deposit will be due at the time of enrollment. The balance of tuition is due by June 1 or June 15, 2019 (depending on the monthly payment option selected at time of registration). Registrations after June 15, 2019, will be required to be paid in full at time of enrollment.
GROUPING REQUESTS
If you would like your child grouped with a specific friend, please list their first and last name on the online application. Grouped campers MUST be entering the same grade next fall.
HEALTH HISTORY RECORD
For the health and safety of all campers, no child will be allowed to attend camp without a completed ESF Health History Record on file.
LIMITED ENROLLMENT
To maintain a low camper to staff ratio and to ensure a quality experience for your child, applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
GENERAL INFORMATION
CAMP T-SHIRT
All campers will receive an official camp t-shirt. Please indicate your child’s shirt size during online enrollment.
OPTIONAL LUNCH PROGRAM
Campers may bring their lunch and drink to camp which we refrigerate, or they can participate in our lunch program for an additional cost of $40/ week*. To sign up, please check the appropriate box during online enrollment. *Reduced lunch rate offered 4th of July week.
REFRESHMENTS & SNACKS
Campers are provided with a snack and beverage each day. Water coolers and fountains are easily accessible to campers throughout the day.

CANCELLATIONS & CREDIT POLICY
If you need to cancel your child’s enrollment, you must notify us in writing by April 1, 2019. Full cancellations made on or prior to this date are subject to a $100 fee, per child, and a registration fee of $50 per family. If cancellation is made after April 1 through May 1, 2019, we will issue you a credit for all tuition fees paid, valid through the following calendar year. Your credit is transferable to any family member and may be used for any ESF program. Please Note: no refunds or credits will be given out after May 2, 2019 regardless of your registration date, vacation, or illness. Changes in enrolled weeks are based on availability. Effective June 1, 2019 a $25.00 transfer fee will be applied for enrollment changes made once camp starts.
