Steps to Enroll

1. Submit Your Intent to Enroll
May 1
Reserve your space in the incoming spring class. By submitting your “Intent to Enroll,” you will be automatically considered for admission to the fall semester, should space become available. admission.usc.edu/status
August 1
2. Submit Your Enrollment Commitment Submit the “Admit Reply” form and nonrefundable $300 enrollment commitment deposit, or request a waiver if this presents a financial hardship. admission.usc.edu/status
3. Attend an Admitted Student Event

4. Complete Your Financial Aid Application Track your financial aid status and respond promptly to any requests for more information through your Financial Aid Summary and Tasks (FAST) portal. financialaid.usc.edu/fast If you have not yet applied for financial aid, visit the Financial Aid website for instructions. financialaid.usc.edu
ASAP, if you have not done so already
5. Submit Transcripts and Official Exam Results • Submit a final high school transcript showing your date of graduation to the USC Office of Admission.
July 1
• Submit the following to the USC Transfer Credit Services office:
- AP, IB and/or A-level exam results. - Official transcripts for any college coursework you completed before high school graduation.
Transcripts that arrive from international schools after July 1 will still be accepted. arr.usc.edu/transfer-credit-services
6. Apply for Housing On-campus housing for spring admits is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Apply as soon as possible beginning July 1. housing.usc.edu
7. Activate Your USC NetID Your USC NetID will establish your USC email address, which is the university’s official means of communication and grants you access to various university services online. usc.edu/firstlogin
8. Sign Up for Welcome Trojans Orientation
Beginning July 1
A few days after submitting Enrollment Commitment Deposit Registration opens July 1
Register for classes, meet other new students, and explore all the resources available to USC students. Watch your USC email for more information. orientation.usc.edu
9. International Students: Complete Visa Documentation Apply for your USC I-20 by submitting the required documentation. (Note that applications cannot be accepted before July 2027.) admission.usc.edu/next-steps-spring/international
