Loctite Hybrid Technology extends the limits of adhesives. When one manufacturer of outdoor ticket dispensers was experiencing problems with the magnets failing to bond to cast aluminium, they turned to Loctite for a solution. They needed a solution which could handle the temperature changes associated with being outdoors, from winter through to summer, as well as staying bonded in the event of vandalism (a common hazard for unmanned, self-service outdoor machines).
