Dear Friend
,
It’s so lovely to have you back in our beautiful space after a long and difficult break. These last few months have been challenging for all of us. That challenge was no exception for us here at The Sharon. The time we spent with our doors closed felt like an endless cycle. We would plan, rearrange, hope, move dates, cancel shows, create virtual content, move venues, and redesign sets. Then after all of that we would repeat all of the aforementioned steps again and again. We did all of that with the goal of bringing us all back together again in mind. Now, finally, here we are together. I know things are different, and they likely will be for a while. But we will persevere. We will work together to find new ways of creating, new ways to move you, and new ways to exist together in a theater. This innovation will require all of us to do our part. So please, while you are here in our theater, I kindly request that you maintain your physical distance of six feet, wear your favorite mask and sanitize your hands often. The performing arts are the most collaborative art form in the world, but the most important collaborator is you, the patron. You come in at the end of our process and provide us with applause, tears, gasps, and laughter. Now we are also asking that you take care of us, the artists, and each other by following the guidelines above. If we all commit to this together we can continue to enjoy live arts in this new way. GUEST ARTISTS JULIE BATMAN Julie Batman, soprano, sings professionally with the Orlando Light Opera, Opera Orlando, Opera Tampa/ Tampa Singers, The Dicken’s Carolers, and Mary Queen of the Universe. She is a graduate of and staff professor of voice and piano at Rollins College. She has been a choral director and choral accompanist at Rollins College and she also teaches voice and piano at Lake Highland Preparatory School. Julie has been featured as a vocal soloist for several local arts organizations in Orlando. Her credits include being a featured soloist for The Villages® Philharmonic Orchestra; the contemporary ballet, Carolina, Handel’s The Messiah - with the Messiah Choral Society, The Villages® Philharmonic , the Central Florida Community Arts, and the Basilica Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine. She has sung as soloist for Mozart’s Requiem, Schubert's Magnificat, Vivaldi’s Nulla in Mundo Pax/Alleluia, Mozart’s "Laudate Dominum" and several other solos with Bach Festival choir, "Et in Carnatus Est" from Mozart’s Grand Mass in C with CFCA and has been a featured soloist on several CDs: Osterkantate Ernest Wolf Easter Cantata – Moravian Society, All is Bright – Bach Festival Choir, Ave Maria and The Basilica Choir – Stemik Music. Carolina contemporary Ballet CD and DVD. In addition to singing and teaching, Julie enjoys accompanying choral groups and playing solo piano for events. ANTHONY CIARAMITARO Floridian tenor Anthony Ciaramitaro is drawing attention for his Italianate sound and compelling stage presence. Mr. Ciaramitaro competed as a national semi-finalist for the Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions in 2019, and finished his second summer as an apprentice with Santa Fe Opera, where he premiered the role of Toke in Ruders’ The Thirteenth Child. Mr. Ciaramitaro is currently a Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist at LA Opera, a former Bailey Apprentice Artist at Palm Beach Opera, and a former Marion Roose Pullin Studio Artist with Arizona Opera where he appeared as Spoletta in Tosca, The Governor and Vanderdendur in Candide, and Count Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia. Mr. Ciaramitaro performed the role of Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola as a member of the prestigious Merola Opera Program in 2017, and spent previous seasons as a Studio Artist with Chautauqua Opera and Wolf Trap Opera.

GUEST ARTISTS ALEXANDRA MOLNAR Award-winning lyric-soprano, Ali Molnar, has been praised for her versatile style, covering various genres from classical to popular music. She began her studies at eight years old and attended regional and national Symposium Talent Contest competitions in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as the State Honors Music Project in her home state of Wisconsin. Ali graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance with an emphasis in opera and musical theater. Ali has made her unique mark on such roles as Kate Monster in Avenue Q, Nimue in Camelot, Contadina in The Gondoliers, The Foreign Woman in The Consul, and Siri in the Orlando Fringe Festival original production of Doro & Diega. She has performed with such auspicious groups as The Huron Playhouse, Central Florida Community Arts, Legacy, Opera Orlando, and the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, where she sang alongside such iconic performers as Fernando Varela and Andrea Bocelli. She has been employed as a seasonal performer at Busch Gardens Tampa in The Conductorettes, a female barbershop quartet show, and as the Poinsettia Princess and has contributed her talents to benefit performances such as the Beautiful Together Benefit Concert in support of the Pulse tragedy as well as performances with CFCArts, a nonprofit organization benefiting the community of central Florida. Miss Molnar studied dance at Ballet Met in Columbus, Ohio and Spotlight Dance Center in Orlando, Florida. She was invited to study abroad at the Kodály Institute in Kecskemét, Hungary where she studied the Kodály method of music with international musicians. Ali also studied abroad in Alicante, Spain where she was immersed in Spanish language and culture. It is her dream to work on a cruise ship and travel the world.

GUEST ARTISTS ADAM DAVIS ODOM Born in New Orleans, tenor, Aaron Odom, is a graduate from Louisiana State University and Manhattan School of Music. He has studied with legendary names such as the great Marilyn Horne, Sir Thomas Allen, and Anthony Rolfe Johnson. Demand for Aaron as a lyric tenor began early in his academic years as he performed for the Bach Chorale Society of Brooklyn, Ohio Light Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Festival di Roma, Mobile Opera, and Wildwood Park. In 1997, Aaron recorded the tenor role of Astrophel in Newport Classics' live recording of Lionel Monckton's, The Arcadians. In 2002, Aaron moved to South Florida and founded a non-profit which would go on to facilitate more than five hundred sacred solo concerts in more than twenty different countries. Funded by offerings and three solo recording projects, Adoration, Servant, and Vintage Hymns, Aaron sang for tiny farming village churches on the mountains Chimaltenango, Guatemala, large Southern Baptist Churches throughout the Southeastern United States, pilgriming tourists at The Church of St. Anne in Jerusalem, and even The Pope at St. Peter's Basilica at The Vatican. Aaron eventually broke into the Southern Gospel world touring with The Booth Brothers, and was even a guest artist on Bill Gaither's televised Homecoming Concert Series. In 2010, Mr. Odom joined the famous gospel quartet, The Imperials, in a Hollywood produced Elvis tribute tour. Keeping in rhythm with the late Elvis on the giant jumbo-tron video screen, the original supporting cast with live orchestra performed in nineteen major European cities including London, Paris, Glasgow, Frankfurt, Dublin, and Rotterdam. Aaron currently lives in DeLand, Florida and still sings professionally in both secular and sacred venues. MARCELLA RICHARDSON Marcella Richardson started her singing career in northern Michigan, Torch Lake area, at a family restaurant called Brownwood. She went on to travel with a 10-piece show band that started from Brownwood called TORCH. She continued to travel the country performing and eventually formed her own groups with partners based out of Atlanta, GA. She has also done radio, TV jingles, and commercials. Eventually moving her business to The Villages, FL, in 2010 she started singing in The Pops and Holiday Concerts with The Villages Philharmonic Orchestra. Along with performing with The Villages Philharmonic Orchestra, she studies and competes in ballroom dancing. 352-751-7799

GUEST ARTISTS SEAN CHRISTOPHER STORK Sean Christopher Stork, lyric baritone, has been singing across the state of Florida since graduating from Florida State University in 2007, including regular engagements with Opera Tampa as well as First Coast Opera in St. Augustine, The Florida Lyric Opera in Tampa, and the Villages Philharmonic, Imperial Symphony, and Orlando Philharmonic Orchestras. He has made his unique mark on such roles as Guglielmo Cosí fan tutte, Count Almaviva Le nozze di Figaro, Escamillo Carmen, Procolo Le convenienze ed inconvenienze tetrali, Fiorello Il barbiere di Siviglia, Captain Corchoran HMS Pinafore, and musical theater roles such as Hucklebee The Fantasticks, Rapunzel’s Prince Into the Woods, and Harold Hill The Music Man. Sean has also been a featured Master Work soloist for such works as Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, Theodore Dubois’ Seven Last Words of Christ, Franz Schubert’s Mass in G, W.A. Mozart’s Regina Coeli and Requiem in Dm as well as Georg Frederic Handel’s The Messiah, Giaccomo Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, and Ralph Vaughan William’s Five Mystical Songs and Dona Nobis Pacem. A strong supporter of modern music, he has collaborated with local composers in recordings of new works such as The Sculptor, War and Peace and Kevin Lay’s Starboy. He is also an active composer and arranger, having commissioned works for the Basilica Choir of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe, The Villages Philharmonic Orchestra, and numerous choruses and ensembles. Mr Stork is currently performing across the country with such auspicious ensembles as Diversita Opera Arts Company, Opera Tampa, The Villages® Philharmonic Orchestra; Orlando Philharmonic; The Hudson Valley Chorale; Orlando Harmony; Orlando Exchange; the Dickens Carolers; and the Basilica Choir of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe.
