Welcome to The Sharon Performing Arts Center!
This year marks a very special milestone—10 years since The Sharon first opened its doors. What began in 2015 as a bold dream has grown into a vibrant home for live performance, rooted in the adventurous and artistic spirit of my grandmother, Sharon L. Morse.
Over the past decade, we’ve been honored to earn your trust, show by show, standing ovation by standing ovation. Whether you’re here tonight to experience a beloved Broadway tour, a favorite artist, or something entirely new, know that every performance has been thoughtfully curated by our passionate team of artists and arts administrators.
As we celebrate our first ten years, we’re also stepping into an exciting new chapter: The Sharon is now proudly powered by Significant Productions, a registered nonprofit dedicated to creating meaningful, memorable arts experiences in our community. With this new foundation, we’re not only preserving what makes The Sharon special, we’re building toward a future filled with bold ideas, diverse stories, and even more opportunities to surprise and delight you.
Thank you for being part of this journey. We’re so glad you’re here. Enjoy the show, and here’s to the next ten years of discovery, connection, and applause.
See You at The Sharon,
Whitney Morse

After training at The Canadian College of Performing Arts, she spent a decade as a headlining performer on Holland America and Carnival Cruise Lines. Now, as the artistic advisor at The Canadian School of Ballet and director of her own company, “Company B,” Carley is thrilled to share Classic Elton with audiences worldwide.

DENNIS MARCENKO (BASS GUITAR) A musical prodigy from southern Saskatchewan, began his melodic journey at the tender age of 4. By 18, he was touring as a sought-after recording artist and bass player. After touring for six years with various pop/rock groups in Vancouver, including The Visitors, the Bob Bradley group, and TKO, Dean settled in the Okanagan as an educator. Since 2012, he’s been an arranger for the Uptown Hornz and a key part of Classic Elton.

CHRIS MANUEL (TROMBONE) Learning music at the age of 4 from a classical Organist. Later, Chris took up the trombone as it required less fingers to play. As a professional, Chris entered the Canadian Forces an officer and worked as a clinician, and adjudicator under the instruction of Camil Bouchard, formerly the Commander of the Naden Band. Now an integral and exciting part of many professional productions, Chris can play any style from classical to jazz, and rock to soul.

He has also played leading roles in musicals like James and the Giant Peach, Little Women, and Peter and the Wolf.
MARC WALKER (TOUR MANAGER) The unassuming conductor behind the scenes, quietly guides Classic Elton as its Tour Manager for the past two years. His work takes him across the picturesque landscapes of British Columbia, where he collaborates with world-class musicians. Together, they weave the magic of Elton John’s timeless melodies, gracing beautiful theaters across Canada with their artistry.
LISA SCHELL (BUSINESS MANAGER) Business Manager of LMS Entertainment and Co-Owner alongside her husband, Mike.
