Designed as a one-stop centre for commuters, this pavilion responds to rain and heat through shaded circulation, umbrella hanging, hydration points, and resting areas. The project turns moments of weather disruption into moments of care, connection, and shared experience.
Context and Design Response
Located along a pedestrian corridor in Medini, the site is used daily by commuters moving between offices, training centres. While highly active, it functions mainly as a passageway, offering little shelter, pause, or interaction during changing weather conditions.
