The Ascension Pavilion explores upward movement and spiritual elevation through a rhythmic composition of skewed wooden sticks. Inspired by mountain peaks and tent structures, the design emphasizes verticality, lightness, and openness while creating a dynamic sense of flow within a minimal natural setting.

The bubble diagram shows the flow of movement and gathering within the pavilion. The central spaces act as key nodes, while the outward arrows express openness, circulation, and spatial expansion.
The sketches explore triangular forms and rising lines inspired by mountain peaks and tent structures. They help develop the pavilion’s sense of verticality, rhythm, and upward movement.
