For Tina Konyot, horses are truly second nature. Her family spans five generations of horsemanship and circus-ring performance. Konyot’s grandfather, Arthur Konyot, occupied center ring in the acclaimed Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. He then trained horses owned by numerous celebrities and was inducted into the Circus Hall of Fame in 1974. Konyot’s father, Alex Konyot, also a member of the Circus Hall of Fame, started an equine training facility in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. In the course of his more than 80-year career, he played a role in guiding multiple young riders to huge successes, including six-time U.S. Olympian Robert Dover. Konyot began riding at a very young age and has been honing her skills ever since. In the 1990s, she spent five years training and showing in Europe; with two years as a student of Herbert Rehbein, then Rudolf Zeilinger, and after that, Klaus Balkenhol. Dover began riding when he was 13-years-old, graduated as an “A” pony-clubber, and specialized in dressage when he was 19. After attending the University of Georgia, he saw his equestrian career take off in the 1980s. After his first Olympic appearance in 1984, Dover helped the U.S. capture the North American championship the following year. In 1987, Dover defeated six-time Olympic Gold medalist Dr. Reiner Klimke to win the Aachen Grand Prix in

Jenny Van Wieren-Page’s horse experience goes back to her childhood. At the age of two, she got her first pony and began competing in hunt seat at age eight. Van Wieren-Page eventually turned her focus to dressage and by age 16 was competing in the FEI Young Rider division with her Russian Warmblood, Dancing Bear, and participating in the USDF Advanced Young Rider Program and FEI Young Rider clinics. In 2003 Van Wieren-Page graduated from Michigan State University (MSU) with a B.A. in Communication. During her time at MSU she was part of MSU Polo Team, and continued riding and competing Dancing 2014 World Cup

Originally from Milwaukee, Wis., Beezie Madden has been riding since the age of three and made her Grand Prix debut in 1985. Four years of continued success followed, including participation on winning U.S. Nations Cup teams, leading to being named the 1989 United States Olympic Committee’s Female Equestrian of the Year. Madden was the first woman—and the first U.S. rider—to ever reach the top three in the Gandini Show Jumping World Ranking List (achieved in 2004), and she was the first woman to pass the $1 million mark in earnings for jumping. Kent Farrington’s success has spanned more than a decade. In 2001, he was named the winner of the Maxine Beard Award, given to an individual based on his potential to represent the United States in international competition. Farrington and Up Chiqui won more than 20 Grand Prix classes since 2005. The pair represented the U.S. twice in 2008, once in the FEI World Cup Finals in Sweden, and again in the winning Nations Cup effort at CSIO Wellington. The pair also won the Rolex/USEF National Show Jumping Championships in 2007, capping off a year where they were nearly invincible. McLain Ward has an international Grand Prix prowess that only continues to increase with age. In 1990, and at age 14, Ward became the youngest rider ever to win both the USET Medal Finals and the USET Talent Derby. He would go on to turn that into a legacy, winning the pair of competitions from 1990-1992. Ward has already competed in more than 10 Rolex/FEI World Cup Finals and numerous FEI Nations Cup competitions. In 2004, Ward made his Olympic debut with Sapphire in Athens, where the pair helped the U.S. to a Team Gold medal. Ward was a key part of the Gold medal-winning 2005 Samsung Super League team despite a fall on course at Hickstead, England, resulting in a broken collar bone. Leslie Burr Howard is a legend in the sport of jumping. She began riding at age four and by 15 she won the 1972 ASPCA Maclay Final. In 1984, Howard was a member of the Gold medal-winning U.S. team at the Los Angeles Olympic Games. Two years later, she won the FEI World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden, riding McLain. For her accomplishments Howard was named the 1986 AHSA Equestrian of the Year. In 1994, she represented the U.S. again at the FEI World Equestrian Games in The Hague, The Netherlands. Howard attended her second Olympic Games in 1996, aiding the U.S. team to a Silver medal. The following year, she was a member of the U.S. team winning the first Samsung Nations Cup Series. Howard earned another Team Silver medal for the U.S. at the 1999 Pan American Games. Howard has maintained her top form over the years. She began 2010 at the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (FTI WEF), finishing second 2014 World Cup

Jayne won the USET Maxine Beard Award in 2006, which recognizes accomplishment by an up-and-coming show jumper. He also won the USEF Talent Search Finals – East that year. In 2007, the successful junior rider made the transition into the senior ranks and at the age of 20 represented the United States on the Gold medal-winning Team at the CSIO Buenos Aires in November with Urbanus. In April, he won the Palm Beach Toyota $25,000 Grand Prix with Thomas Edison. Traveling to the West Coast, Jayne and Chill R Z were ninth in the AIG $1 Million Grand Prix. Jayne graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla., in May 2008 with a degree in Business Management. Despite all of the awards he has picked up over the years, he considers the fact that he was able to ride full-time and graduate in five years to be his greatest accomplishment.

Charlie Jacobs has become a contender in the jumping arena in recent years. During the 2010 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (FTI WEF), Jacobs won the $50,000 CN Palm Beach Jumping Derby with Quidditch II. At the Fieldstone Spring Festival, he claimed the top two spots in the $25,000 Fieldstone Grand Prix with Leap of Joy and Quidditch II, respectively. Jacobs also won numerous High Amateur Owner Jumper Championships throughout the year. In 2011, Jacobs was the High Amateur Owner Jumper Champion five different weeks of the FTI WEF. At the Horse Show by the Bay Series III, he and Leap of Joy finished second in the $30,000 Grand Prix of the Great Lakes. Jacobs then scored the win in the $25,000 Herb Chambers Grand Prix with Flaming Star at the Fieldstone Summer Showcase. With Secret Love, Jacobs finished third in the $30,000 Grand Prix of the Great Lakes during the Horse Shows by the Bay Series III. The following week, he scored second- and third-place finishes in the $30,000 D-Braider Grand Prix with Flaming Star and Secret Love, respectively. During the Fieldstone Summer Showcase I, Jacobs and Flaming Star won the $25,000 Fieldstone Grand Prix. The pair had another strong performance at the American Gold Cup, finishing second in the $35,000 Double H Farm Jumper Classic. Jacobs finished out the year helping the U.S. team to the win the Nations Cup competition at the CSIO2* Buenos Aires aboard Flaming Star. At just 22-years-old, Saer Coulter is already making her mark on the U.S. show jumping scene. Coulter rode to top finishes in many junior jumper and equitation classes during her years in the juniors, helping her make a smooth transition to the Grand Prix stage. In just her fifth ever Grand Prix, Coulter rode one of only three clear rounds in the 2009 $100,000 Grand Prix of Del Mar on Cats are Grey. Both horse people, her parents had her in the saddle when she was 6-monthsold, and she was jumping by three. In 2008, Bond Clarke won the Maxine Beard Award for her promise in the future of show jumping. She first represented the U.S. in 2008 at Spruce Meadows in Calgary. Bond Clarke then made her first Nations Cup experience a winning one at CSIO Buenos Aires with Cadett 7. With Cadett 7, Bond Clarke picked up two wins in World Cup Qualifiers at HITS Thermal in 2009. Jenni Martin McAllister competed in dressage and eventing as a junior before focusing solely on hunter/jumpers. In 1987 she helped Zone 10 earn the Team Silver medal at the North American Young Rider Championships. McAllister has continued to rise through the jumping ranks, finding success at the Grand Prix level with several horses that she has brought along herself. In 2011, McAllister finished third in the $25,000 Summer Classic Grand Prix with Glados at the Blenheim Summer Classic. The pair then finished fifth in the $31,000 Showpark Jumper Classic at the Showpark All Seasons Summer Tournament. McAllister came in second in the $30,000 Memorial Day Classic Grand Prix with Union Jack in 2012. At just 21-years-old, Lucy Davis is already proving to be a force in the Grand Prix ranks, often besting people twice her age. Davis got an early start, riding as soon as she could walk and taking lessons by the age of five. It was a natural progression for Lucy to take up riding early on, as her grandfather works in the horse racing industry. Throughout her career Davis has been active in both the jumper and equitation ranks. In 2010, she was fourth in the Pessoa/USEF Medal Finals at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show. Davis jumped in her first Grand Prix, the $25,000 CA Horse Trader Grand Prix, in the fall of 2008 collecting second-place honors. Jumping - Western European League resume, where she again rode Barron helping the U.S. team claim top honors in the Consolation Round. She ended her season with a second-place finish aboard Hannah in a CSI5*-W speed class at the CSI5*-W Stuttgart in Germany. In 2014, Davis kicked things off with a third-place finish in the $370,000 CSI5*-W FEI Word Cup presented by Rolex with Barron during week five of the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (FTI WEF). The pair finished third again in the $100,000 Engel & Volkers CSI4* Grand Prix during week 11.

Jumping - Chef d’Equipe Ridland twice won the Course Designer of the Year Award while building the courses for the U.S. Olympic Trials as well as numerous international competitions. As an international official, he is the only American to have served as the FEI Technical Delegate for four FEI World Cup Finals. As a television commentator, he worked for many years as the color analyst for ESPN and CBS, as well as two stints for NBC at the Barcelona and Athens Olympic Games.

Robert Ridland Born: November 7, 1950 Residence: Irvine, Calif. Chef d’Equipe
Robert Ridland brings to the sport several decades of international experience, including two appearances in the Olympic Games during his career as a member of the United States Equestrian Team. Over the years he was victorious on four continents, including the American Invitational, the Grand Prix of New York in Madison Square Garden, and the Grand Prix of Switzerland. In addition to his riding career, Ridland has been extensively involved in the governance of the sport, including several terms as a board member of the USEF and the USET. His analytical approach to the sport is aided by virtue of his vast experience as an international course designer.

Jumping - Team Leader Performance Driving Committee and the Chairman of the USEF High Performance Eligible Active Pair Driver Committee. In December 2007, Chesson was promoted to USEF Director of Show Jumping High Performance Activities. Chesson resides in Gladstone, N.J., and still rides and drives when she can find the time. She finds herself incredibly fortunate to work with such an experienced and dynamic team.

Lizzy Chesson has been deeply rooted in international equestrian sports for many years. As a groom for her mother, she was part of two World Championship Driving teams. At the age of 22, Chesson was selected to drive a pair of horses in the World Pair Championship in Hungary. She is a graduate of Columbia University where she studied German and Spanish and earned a degree in Art History. Chesson began working for the USEF in 2006. Her first position was in the USEF Show Jumping department as an assistant to Managing Director, Sally Ike. Chesson has been a member of the USEF High
