NEW YORK — Paul Walker’s brothers are stepping to help finish filming on “Fast & Furious 7,” the film Walker was in the midst of making when he died in November. Caleb Walker and Cody Walker have been enlisted to complete their brother’s action scenes and “fill in small gaps left in production,” Universal Pictures said in a statement Tuesday on the film’s Facebook page.

“Having them on set has made us feel that Paul is with us too,” read the statement. Production on “Fast & Furious 7” recently resumed after it was suspended following Walker’s death. The 40-year-old Walker died in a car crash on Nov. 30 outside Los Angeles along with his friend Roger Rodas. A police investigation found the Porsche that Rodas was driving was traveling up to 94 mph when it went out of control. The release of “Fast & Furious 7” was delayed to April 2015 following Walker’s death. The film, which is directed by James Wan and also

The weakening of the current property transactions, said Sukarja, was caused by the movement cycle of the property market indicating a decline. It happened after the rapid purchase of property in previous years. “The decline is more than 49

Nusa Penida’s ring road to cost IDR 300 billion Bali Post

SEMARAPURA - Realization of promises to build ring roads in Nusa Penida subdistrict is not as easy as being pronounced during the campaign period. This mega project plan is estimated to cost quite fantastic, reaching IDR 300 billion, two times of the development budget of Gunaksa Pier. This was announced by the Head of Klungkung Public Works, AA Ngurah Agung, when asked about the continuation of the ring road construction plan in his office, Tuesday (Apr 15). As planned, there would be two ring roads to be constructed in Nusa Penida. A ring road would surround the island and another would be in the town to rearrange the face of the Nusa Penida. Ngurah Agung said that his party was currently working with the Udayana University in preparing the feasibility study for the ring road around the island. Implementation of the feasibility study was financed by Bali government worth IDR 1 billion. “After that, it will be resumed with the preparation of the Details Engineering Design (DED) and the environmental impact analysis,” he said. The ring road surrounding the island was planned to be built along 80 kilometers with the width of 12 meters. If all phases could run smoothly, the physical work would be planned in 2015, where next year, he said, the provincial government prepared a budget worth IDR 30 billion. In addition, the provincial government also attempted to propose a budget to central government to help

finance the construction of ring road in Nusa Penida. Ngurah Agung asserted the amount worth IDR 300 billion was just an estimation of the Public Works because the road construction was long and wide enough, and there was a number of land acquisition. Regarding the budget, it would be reviewed in order to be clear how much would be spent each year. The track could follow the old path or could make a new path. “Additionally, we do not know whether there will be a bridge construction or not. Who knows there will be a creek (ravine), so it needs to build a bridge as well,” he said. Meanwhile, the ring road work in the town was planned to start next year with a gradual budget of Klungkung government. Currently, his party was making data collection on the land to be used in the road construction because the width planned was quite large, reaching 20 meters and equipped with sidewalk. However, he insisted that relocation did not matter because the ring road construction would also rearrange the face of Nusa Penida town having been known to be chaotic and the road access was destroyed. In the layout of the urban planning, the Mentigi Market and subdistrict office building would be relocated. “Roughly speaking, they have been provided with a new location, but the exact location will be discussed again later,” he explained. Currently, the Klungkung government was conducting socialization to local community about the plan to build the ring road. Probably, the ring road in the town would be accomplished more quickly. However, Ngurah Agung had not dared to make sure when the urban road and ring road construction would be complete because the planning stage was under progress. The development of rabies was expected not to spread to rural communities. The socialization usually only reaching people in urban areas must now be focused on rural areas. As seen, the response of rural communities is very high against

this rabies prevention awareness,” said the Head of the Bali Livestock Agency, Putu Sumantra. On the occasion, Deputy Regent of Buleleng, Nyoman Sutjidra, was very delighted and welcomed the rabies prevention activities. Rabies in Buleleng should be minimized and not let people get exposed to rabies. He said that early countermeasure had to be undertaken. Sutjidra proposed that in the future each customary village had to make a rule to reduce the number of dog population. “In the future, it must be attempted to make a rule at each customary village. For example, the dog owners must take care of their dog and never let theirs roam around the roads. All dogs and cats shall be well maintained,” said Sutjidra. His party added that the officers of Livestock Agency should persistently promote the hazards of rabies and regularly outreach the residents. Should there be any people who did not understand about rabies, the Livestock Agency should give explanation, and if it was necessary, it should be made proactively. “We emphasize on the preventive measures. The celebration is very colorful. The shrine are dressed with pieces of cloths and sometimes with brocade, sailings, decorations of carved wood and sometimes painted with gold and Chinese coins, very beautifully arranged, are hung in the four corners of the shrine. In front of shrine are placed red, white or black umbrellas depending which Gods are worshipped in the shrines. In front of important shrine one sees, besides these umbrellas soars, tridents and other weapons, the “umbulumbul”, long flags, all these are prerogatives or attributes of Holiness. In front of the Temple gate put up “Penjor”, long bamboo poles, decorated beautifully ornaments of young coconut leaves, rice and other products of the land. Most beautiful to see are the girls in their colorful attire, carrying offerings, arrangements of all kinds fruits and colored cakes, to the Temple. Every visitor admires the grace with which the carry their load on their heads.

DNA alternative to Pap smear sparks medical debate Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON — A high-tech screening tool for cervical cancer is facing pushback from more than a dozen American patient groups, who warn that the genetic test could displace a simpler, cheaper and more established mainstay of women’s health: the Pap smear. The new test from Swiss drug maker Roche uses DNA to detect the human papillomavirus, or HPV, which causes nearly all cases of cervical cancer. While such technology has been available for years, Roche now wants the Food and Drug Administration to approve its test as a first-choice option for cervical cancer screening, bypassing the decades-old Pap test. But a number of women’s groups — including the American Medical Women’s Association and Our Bodies Ourselves — warn that moving to a DNA-based testing model would be a “radical shift” in medical practice that could lead to confusion, higher costs and overtreatment. “It replaces a safe and effective well-established screening tool and regimen that has prevented cervical cancer successfully in the U.S. with a new tool and regimen not proven to work in a large U.S. population,” state the groups in a letter to FDA Commissioner Dr. Margaret Hamburg. The letter, dated Monday, is signed by 17 patient advocacy groups, including Consumers Union, the Cancer Prevention and

Treatment Fund and the National Alliance for Hispanic Health. Chief among the advocates’ concerns is that HPV-only testing could lead to overtreatment of younger women who carry the virus but have little risk of developing actual cancer. Most sexually active young people will contract HPV, though their bodies usually eliminate the virus within a few months. Only years-long infections develop into cancer. “Unfortunately the HPV test by itself isn’t very useful because so many young women have HPV that will disappear without any treatment,” said Diana Zuckerman of the Cancer Prevention and Treatment Fund. “Having an HPV test without also getting a Pap smear to check for problems is going to scare a lot of women who are not developing cervical cancer.” An FDA spokeswoman said the agency could not comment on the letter since it deals with a product under review. For decades the Pap test was the only screening option for cervical cancer — and it’s had a remarkably successful track record. The number of cervical cancer cases reported in

NEW DELHI — India’s top court on Tuesday issued a landmark verdict recognizing transgender rights as human rights, saying people can identify themselves as a third gender on official documents. The Supreme Court directed the federal and state governments to include transgendered people in all welfare programs for the poor, including education, health care and jobs to help them overcome social and economic challenges. Previously, transgendered Indians could only identify themselves as male or female in all official documents. The decision was praised as giving relief to the estimated 3 million Indians who are transgender. The court noted that it was the right of every human being to choose their gender while granting rights to those who identify themselves as neither male nor female. “All documents will now have a third category marked ‘transgender.’ This verdict has come as a great relief for all of us. Today I am proud to be an Indian,” said Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, a transgender activist who, along with a legal agency, had petitioned

the court. The court’s decision would apply to individuals who have acquired the physical characteristics of the opposite sex or present themselves in a way that does not correspond with their sex at birth. “The spirit of the (Indian) Constitution is to provide equal opportunity to every citizen to grow and attain their potential, irrespective of caste, religion or gender,” the court said in its order. The Supreme Court specified its ruling would only apply to transgender people but not to gays, lesbians or bisexuals. India’s LGBT communities have been protesting the court’s recent decision to reinstate a colonial-era law banning gay sex, which they say will make them vulnerable to police harassment. The court also ordered the government to put in place public awareness campaigns to lessen the social stigma against transgender people. Justice K.S. Radhakrishnan told the court that the “recognition of transgender (people) as a third gender is not a social or medical issue but a human rights issue.” “Transgenders are citizens of this country and are entitled to education and all other rights,” he said.

Six fish species need MSC certificate NUSA DUA - Six sea fish species need the certificate from the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) to be acceptable in the global market, an official said. “There are six sea fish species including skipjack, big eye tuna, yellow fin tuna, small crab, the grouper and red tuna that we proposed to have the MSC certificate ,” Fishery Marketing and Processing Director General Saut P Hutagalung said. Saut said the certificate is important because those fish species are major export earners from the fishery sector. Tuna fish and skipjack accounted for 18 percent of the country’s total earning of US$4.2 billion from the exports of fishery commodities in 2013, he said. “The certification will at the same time contribute to the program of sustainability of the fishery sector. In addition, most importers always ask about the MSC certificate to ensure that sea fishing have been environmentally friendly,” he said. Until, now no Indonesian fishing company already has the MSC certificate, he said. However, at the Nusa Dua conference there were five companies taking part in the certification program, including one from Bali, he said. He said apart from being expensive, it is not easy to secure the certificate as the companies and their fishermen partners have to go through a tight process of testing. It would be too expensive and difficult for the country’s six million small fishermen and small scale fish processing firms to go through the test, he said. He said 90 percent of 560,000

units of fishing vessels operating in the country’s territorial waters and the exclusive economic zone are less than 30 gross tons in measure that certification would be too big a burden for them. “In the first time we introduced the certification in 2008, many fishermen and fishing companies took to the street protesting. Currently there is growing awareness of the importance of certification. Even companies begin to ask their partners to join in the certification program,” he said. He is confident in the next one or two years, there would be Indonesian fishery companies holding the MSC certificate. In order to bring to reality the program, the marine and fisheries ministry will encourage fishermen to take part in the program of certification, he said. “We don’t want to rush as it is too costly for the companies and fishermen. Fortunately a number of companies and fishermen received a financial aid from Anova (suppliers of fisheries products to the European and US markets) and WWF (an international non-governmental organization of environmentalists),” he said. The activities were designed and implemented in the production and collection orchard spreading on the area of 0.5 hectare owned by the PHP Laboratory at Celuk that could perform mass production of antagonistic fungus Trichoderma. The growth is estimated to range between 5.8 percent and 6.2 percent (yoy). “The increase in the growth is estimated to have been driven by the increasing growth in trade, hotel and restaurant (PHR) sector, agricultural sector as well as the building sector. Meanwhile, on the demand side, we estimate it is triggered by the growth in the components of

investment and export,” said Chief Representative of Bank Indonesia for Region III Bali-Nusra, Benny Siswanto, recently. He said that for the whole year of 2014 the Bali’s economy was expected to grow in the range of 6.2 percent to 6.6 percent. The

increasing growth in 2014 was estimated to be driven by an increase in the growth of trade, hotel and restaurant, agriculture, transport and communication sector as well as the building sector. In terms of demand, the growth in 2014 was estimated to be supported by the increase in the growth of each component, especially the component of investment and export. “However, based on the results of survey, the entrepreneurs even indicated pessimism in regard to the future development of the business world,” he said.

He added it was indicated by the survey of business activity (SKDU) in the fourth quarter of 2013 with the weighted net balance (SBT) whose growth was slowing down. The slowdown was estimated to occur in some of the main economic sectors of the Bali Province. According to him, the growth of trade sub-sector was predicted to slightly increase at the beginning of the year due to the impact of the election. It included the agricultural sector, where the bad weather was estimated to end so that the agricultural production

was estimated to increase. Thus, it would encourage the growth in the agricultural sector. “In terms of building, the growth of construction sector is estimated to improve with the increasing growth of investment early this year. Exports are also estimated to increase with the improving weather conditions,” he said. SINGARAJA - Dozens of farmers from five farmer groups at Banyupoh village, Gerokgak, attended Climate Field School (CFS), Tuesday (Apr 15). The CFS was held by the Central Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The CFS was intentionally held by the Central BMKG due to the prediction on the emergence of El Nino hurricane in Indonesia from August to the end of 2014. Dozens of those farmers were expected to gain additional knowledge so that

they could overcome the effects of the storm. As consequence, the food security could still be maintained. The Head of the Central BMKG, Andi Eka Sakya, when opening the CFS said that it had been held in a number of provinces in Indonesia. Incessant CFS was made by the BMKG because the research had indicated that the El Nino hurricane would cause a prolonged drought disaster. If the provision of understanding was not given to prevent the impact of the fierce storm, it was feared to threaten the condition of food in Indonesia, including in Bali and Buleleng. To that end, the development

of climate should be understood by some elements of society including farmers. Weather and climatic aspect should be understood in relation to the planting of crops. Eka exemplified that hydrological disasters such as drought or the impact of rainy season was higher than geological disasters. “We’ve aggressively performed the CFS. SEOUL, South Korea — Nearly 300 people were still missing Wednesday several hours after a ferry carrying 459, most of them high school students, sank in cold waters off South Korea’s southern coast, killing at least two and injuring seven, officials said. There were fears, however, of a big jump in the death toll, as dozens of boats, helicopters and divers scrambled to rescue passengers who had been on the ferry traveling to the southern tourist island of Jeju. One passenger said he believed that many people were trapped inside the ferry when it sank. The ferry sent a distress call at about 9 a.m. local time Wednesday after it began leaning to one side, according to the Ministry of Security and Public Administration. The government said about 95 percent of the ferry, whose passengers included 325 high school students on a school trip to the popular tourist island, was submerged. Coast guard officers, speaking on condition of anonymity citing department rules, said at least two people died and 293 were unaccounted for, but gave no further details, including what might have caused the ferry to sink. Official estimates of the missing, dead and even the number of passengers on the ship varied wildly as the search went on. A government official had earlier said that more than 100 people were unaccounted for, but officials later boosted the number to 295 missing and then changed it to 293. Media photos showed wet students, some without shoes, some wrapped in blankets, tended to by emergency workers. One student,

BEIJING - China’s GDP grew at its weakest pace for 18 months in the March quarter, data showed Wednesday, testing Beijing’s resolve as its campaign to transform the world’s number-two economy comes at the cost of a sharp slowdown. “As a result, the policy response to today’s numbers is likely to be muted.” Authorities say they want consumer spending and other forms of private demand to propel the economy into a future of more sound and sustainable growth, though they are quick to emphasise that rebalancing must not come at the expense of job creation. China’s “external environment remains complicated and volatile, and the national economy still faces downward pressure”, he said. But he stressed the number of new urban jobs created in the first quarter was 3.44 million, 40,000 more than the same period in 2013. The government last month announced a target of creating 10 million new city jobs this year. “The more important (indicators) by which we judge whether the growth rate has slipped below the targeted range... are employment and income,” he said. Li last week poured cold water on measures to boost growth, saying authorities “will not resort to short-term stimulus policies just because of temporary economic fluctuations”. Rather, he said they “will pay more attention to sound development in the medium- and long-run”. China in March set its annual growth target for this year at about 7.5 percent, the same as last year, though officials, including Li, have been quick to stress the target is flexible -- seen as a hint it may not be reached. The last time China missed the target was in 1998 during the Asian financial crisis.

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) blamed the figures on a slower-thanexpected global recovery as well as economic structural reforms at home. The result was the worst since a similar 7.4 percent expansion in the third quarter of 2012, but marginally higher than a median forecast of 7.3 percent in a survey of 13 economists by AFP. It marks the fourth slowdown in the past six quarters and comes as Beijing shows a willingness to accept weaker growth, as leaders try to pivot the economy away from decades of double-digit expansion fuelled by big-ticket investment projects. NBS spokesman Sheng Laiyun told reporters China is in the “crucial stage of structural reform”, while government efforts to get rid of outdated industrial capacity, conserve energy and protect the environment “come at a price”. Julian Evans-Pritchard, China economist at Capital Economics, wrote in an analysis Premier “Li Keqiang presumably already had a good idea of where Q1 growth would come in when he ruled out major stimulus last week”. while food prices rose 0.5 percent, shelter costs jumped 2.7 percent and health care service costs gained 2.4 percent. Stripped of the volatile food and energy costs, core CPI rose 0.2 percent as well. The core index was up 1.7 percent for the 12 months to March. The index overall showed inflation remains tame, nothing that should stir concerns in the Federal Reserve, which wants in-

flation to pick up strength before it starts normalizing its ultra-low interest-rate policy. “All of the upward push came from food prices,” said Jennifer Lee of BMO Capital Markets. “It is becoming more expensive to eat these days, with costs rising for dairy, fruits and vegetables, and coffee, thanks to drought in various parts of the US, as well as Brazil and Southeast Asia.”

As information released by Spokesperson of Klungkung government on Tuesday, the coordination meeting was meant to answer the expectations of the community in accelerating the completion of the Gunaksa Pier construction as companion pier of Mentigi in Nusa Penida. The meeting led by Deputy Governor of Bali Ketut Sudikerta was attended by the Subdivision Head of River, Lake and Crossing Transportation (LLASDP) Hardi Sukarliyanto, Head of the Bali Transportation Agency Ketut Artika, Regent of Klungkung I Nyoman Suwirta, the Head of Klungkung Transportation, Communication and Informatics Agency I Nengah Sukasta as well as the consultant team Sarjono. Deputy Governor Sudikerta said the completion of Gunaksa Pier was sluggish due to lack of communication between the central, provincial and county level. To complete the pier for the islanders, he said, it required the spirit of harmony. At least, there were a number of issues discussed in the meeting, including the land acquisition, physical design of the

building, DED and normalization of Unda River and funding. For the land acquisition, Nengah Sukasta at the meeting expressed that Klungkung government had formed a team of land data collection. Meanwhile, the DED was still being corrected by the development consultant and expected to be promptly completed in order not to hamper the development stages. In response to that matter, deputy governor asked the team to work immediately and collect the data of the land. He also asked the consultant team to accomplish the DED at the latest on May 31. “The physical development is scheduled for completion and operation in 2016,” he said. In the meantime, the Subdivision Head of the LLASDP, Hardi Sukarliyanto, conveyed the central government was ready to help the development of Gunaksa Pier. However, the physical development could only be started when the normalization of Unda River had been completed. “So, please finish first the normalization of the Unda River,” he said. Meanwhile, the consultant

Sarjono said that his team would conduct a survey of the land that would be used for the road access to the pier because among the road access there were a number of large puddles. So, it would be necessary to build a bridge. At least, there was a plan to build four bridges to pass through the puddles. The backfill was not possible due to a larger amount of fund required. The Regent of Klungkung, Nyoman Suwirta, gladly welcomed the coordination meeting. His party asserted to have taken the steps to accelerate the pier construction. One of them was by establishing a team to make data collection of the land around the pier and was under progress. If the data collection had been completed, the normalization of downstream flow of the Unda River could be done as soon as possible. Normalization of the Unda River was quite urgent because if it continued to be delayed, the plot would constantly change when the water discharge expanded after it rained. This dance usually danced by some young girl usually until five. Tourists will often see and participate in a joged bumbung dance. The joged bumbung is a flirtation dance and a solo female dancer will select men from the audience with a tap on the shoulder with her fan. Back in 1937 during Miguel Covarrubias’s time in Bali, before the onrush of mass tourism, the joged bumbung was popular. Joged Bumbung usually accompanied with balinese gamelan called bumbung. Balinese gamelan is an ensemble of instruments indigenous to the island of Bali in Indonesia. Bumbung is comprised of bamboo resonators lying horizontally and tied to bamboo frames. These resonators are struck with special mallets made of bamboo and tire rubber. This balinese music usually used for accompany joged bumbung dance. This balinese music usually brought by some people which joined into sekaa or group according to each village and each group of joged bumbung dance. Each group of bumbung usually amounting among 18 until 27 people including the joged bumbung dancer. A very popular dance that seems related to the legong is the joged, performed by a girl in a variation of the legong costume and in the traditional legong steps. The dance is considered erotic by the Balinese because the girl entices the men from the audience by ‘making eyes’ at them during the course of the dance. The man invited must dance with her in postures that represent a love game of approach and refusal (ngibing), in which the man tries to come near enough to the girl’s face to catch her perfume and feel the warmth of her skin, the Balinese form of a kiss. As the audience becomes worked up, other men ‘cut in’ and dance with her. The joged could easily be a modernized, decadent version of the ancient mating dance still to be found in some village in Bali, stronghold of native tradition. There, once a year, a dance called abuang is performed in which the unmarried girls of the village appear dressed in their best, wearing gold flower head-dresses and meet bachelor boys who posture with the girl of their preference in a short dance in which the gestures make one think of a chaste and restrained joged.

TEHRAN, Iran — Iran’s defense minister says Tehran will not discuss its ballistic missiles as part of ongoing talks with world powers on a final agreement to curb the Iranian nuclear program. Gen. Hossein Dehghan’s remarks rebuffed recent comments by U.S. State Department’s nuclear negotiator, Wendy Sherman, who said Iran’s ballistic capabilities should be addressed as part of a comprehensive agreement with Iran. The semiofficial Fars news agency on Wednesday quoted Dehghan as saying Iran’s missile program has “nothing to do” with the nuclear negotiations. Ballistic missile can be used to deliver nuclear warheads. Iran insists its missiles program has no nuclear dimensions. Iran and the six world powers are currently negotiating a final deal that would remove all possibilities that the Islamic Republic could use its capabilities to build a nuclear weapon.

Police say 5 dead in Calgary stabbings

MANILA, Philippines — At least five people including a 2-yearold boy were killed and 15 others were injured Wednesday when a passenger bus rammed a stalled truck along the highway in eastern Philippines’ Camarines Sur province at the start of the Easter week exodus of vacationers to provinces, police said. Police Supt. Vicente Marfori said the driver of the bus from Manila is under investigation at the police station of Libmanan town, where the accident happened. The whole right side of the bus was dislodged by the collision. Marfori said the driver of the truck was in shock in a hospital. The four-day Easter week holidays officially start Thursday but vacationers have already started traveling to the provinces for the long break. Road accidents are common in remote areas in the Philippines, largely because of poor vehicle maintenance, bad road conditions and poor implementation of safety measures.

JAKARTA - A survey by an international consultant firm said Jakarta is full of challenges and dynamics but it has changed into a global city in many aspects. “The new city leadership has brought about credibility and optimism. Very clear in our survey that Jakarta could top the category of Emerging Cities Outlook 2014,” President Director of AT Kearney John Kurtz said . Kurtz said based on the survey, New York, London, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong are five top global cities and Jakarta, Manila, Addis Ababa , Sao Paulo and New Delhi are five potential rivals to break into the ranks of global cities in the next 10 to 20 years. Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo or Jokowi as he is popularly known, said he was pleased with the result of the survey which said Jakarta has expanded and is potential to grow to become a global city. The study has been carried out by AT Kearney, a global management consultant, beginning 18 months earlier. “We could use the results of the

study for our evaluation to make correction of anything need to be corrected,” Jokowi said on Wednesday. The surveys, held every two years, covered many aspects including city transport, education, health and flooding, problems that the city has yet to seriously deal with. The study by AT Kearney, titled Global Cities Index 2014, contains category of Emerging Cities Outlook 2014, which maps out potentials of emerging cities to catch up with global cities and improve their global position in the coming decades. In the category, Jakarta tops the ranks of 35 emerging cities in the world with potential to grow to become global cities.

CALGARY, Alberta — A recent graduate of the University of Calgary was charged in the fatal stabbing of five people at a house party that the police chief called the worst mass slaying in the western Canadian city’s history. Matthew Douglas de Grood, the son of a 33-year veteran of the Calgary police force, picked up a large knife shortly after arriving at the party and stabbed the victims one by one shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday, said police Chief Rick Hanson. De Grood, 22, was charged with five counts of murder late Tuesday. “This is the worst murder — mass murder — in Calgary’s history,” Hanson said at a news conference Tuesday. “We have never seen five people killed by an individual at one scene. The scene was horrific.” The Calgary attack came nearly a week after a teenage boy in the U.S. stabbed and wounded 21 students at his high school outside Pittsburgh. Hanson said the motive for the Calgary attack was unknown.

He said the suspect’s father and mother are devastated. “They are now feeling so much sorrow,” he said. “Those young people are dead and they are absolutely devastated.” Hanson said the identities of the five victims —four men and a woman — will be released when autopsies are completed. He said their ages range from 22 to 27 and they were all “good kids.” Neither the victims nor the suspect had any prior involvement with police, Hanson said. The University of Calgary said de Grood graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree majoring in psychology and a minor in law and society. Hanson said the suspect “targeted the victims one by one, stabbing them several times.” “Was there anything that precipitated the event? Was there something that anyone had done that anyone could have taken as an insult or an affront to this individual? To the best of our knowledge right now, there’s nothing to indicate anything like that happened,” Hanson said.

JAYAPURA - Heavy rains on Wednesday in Papua Province caused flooding and inundated a number of main roads in Jayapura city. “The floods have been caused from heavy rains since last night, and the sewer is no longer able to accommodate the rainwater, which has overflowed into the road,” explained Roberth, a motorist who had to pass by the flooded roads. Roberth pointed out that the drainage system in Jayapura city and its surrounding must be cleaned regularly, especially during the rainy season. “Any related institutions are expected to widen the drainage system and clean it; also local citizen awareness to maintain the cleanliness of the sewage system is required,” Roberth pointed out. The main roads that are inundated by the floods namely the Padang Bulan - Sentani Road, Jalan Baru Kotaraj - Tanah Hitam Road, and Entrop-Abepura road. Earlier, on Saturday through Sunday, April 12 to 13, Jayapura was hit by heavy rains that caused the floods at Sam Ratulangi main road. Several houses in Jayapura were also reportedly destroyed by landslides caused by the heavy rains. However, no casualties were reported. Long queues of vehicles from Abepura and Jayapura can still be spotted on the Entrop sub-district of South Jayapura main road due to the landslide.

SAO PAULO — Tickets for nearly twothirds of the World Cup matches were sold out within hours of FIFA opening the final online sales phase on Tuesday. Five hours after sales opened on FIFA’s website, there were tickets available to only 20 of the 64 matches. Only 15 matches still had tickets available 10 hours into the sales phase. FIFA said 126,837 tickets were requested within the first four hours. Football’s governing body had put nearly 200,000 tickets on sale on a first-come, first-serve basis in this last phase. “With less than two months to go, this is the last chance for fans to secure their tickets for football’s flagship event,” FIFA marketing director Thierry Weil said. The match with the most tickets still available was Bosnia-Iran in the northeastern city of Salvador. There were also plenty of entrances left for Greece-Ivory Coast in

the nearby city of Fortaleza and for NigeriaBosnia in the wetlands city of Cuiaba. Only a few second-round matches remained on sale late Tuesday. SAO PAULO — Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro said Tuesday that it will not sign former France striker Nicolas Anelka because the player took too long to report to the club. Atletico Mineiro director Eduardo Maluf told a media conference the player had until Monday to arrive and sign his contract. He said the club was advised by one of Anelka’s agents that he would not be able to come to Brazil until the end of the week. Maluf said it was the third time the player and his agents “gave excuses” for his failure to report to the club. Atletico Mineiro president Alexandre Kalil announced the deal to sign Anelka on April 6. The club said a pre-contract had already been signed and had been heavily marketing the player’s signing even though his arrival kept being delayed.

FLORENCE, Italy — Italy coach Cesare Prandelli is hopeful of taking Giuseppe Rossi to the World Cup in Brazil but is wary of putting pressure on the young forward as he recovers from injury. Rossi was Serie A’s top scorer until he re-injured his problematic right knee in January and has only recently begun training again, but the U.S.-born striker was involved in World Cup fitness tests on Monday and Tuesday. “I can’t say anything. The tests have to be evaluated,” Prandelli said at a press conference at the end of the two-day camp. “What’s important regarding Giuseppe Rossi is not to put pressure on him, he has to recover psychologically as well as physically. “It’s not right to say whether I am pessimistic or optimistic. We have to wait for improvements, to see him on the pitch and then we’ll see. I can’t say anything else. He’s a talent and we want him ready and in the starting 11. But he had a serious injury. Five hours after sales opened on FIFA’s website, there were tickets available to only 20 of the 64 matches. Only 15 matches still had tickets available 10 hours into the sales phase. FIFA said 126,837 tickets were requested within the first four hours. Football’s governing body had put nearly 200,000 tickets on sale on a first-come, first-serve basis in this last phase. “With less than two months to go, this is the last chance for fans to secure their tickets for football’s flagship event,” FIFA marketing director Thierry Weil said. The match with the most tickets still available was Bosnia-Iran in the northeastern city of Salvador. There were also plenty of entrances left for Greece-Ivory Coast in

the nearby city of Fortaleza and for NigeriaBosnia in the wetlands city of Cuiaba. Only a few second-round matches remained on sale late Tuesday. Ten high-demand matches were not available from the beginning, including the Brazil-Croatia opener on June 12 and the final at the Maracana on July 13. SAO PAULO — Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro said Tuesday that it will not sign former France striker Nicolas Anelka because the player took too long to report to the club. Atletico Mineiro director Eduardo Maluf told a media conference the player had until Monday to arrive and sign his contract. He said the club was advised by one of Anelka’s agents that he would not be able to come to Brazil until the end of the week. Maluf said it was the third time the player and his agents “gave excuses” for his failure to report to the club. Atletico Mineiro president Alexandre Kalil announced the deal to sign Anelka on April 6. The club said a pre-contract had already been signed and had been heavily marketing the player’s signing even though his arrival kept being delayed.

TEHRAN, Iran — Iran’s defense minister says Tehran will not discuss its ballistic missiles as part of ongoing talks with world powers on a final agreement to curb the Iranian nuclear program. Gen. Hossein Dehghan’s remarks rebuffed recent comments by U.S. State Department’s nuclear negotiator, Wendy Sherman, who said Iran’s ballistic capabilities should be addressed as part of a comprehensive agreement with Iran. The semiofficial Fars news agency on Wednesday quoted Dehghan as saying Iran’s missile program has “nothing to do” with the nuclear negotiations. Ballistic missile can be used to deliver nuclear warheads. Iran insists its missiles program has no nuclear dimensions. Iran and the six world powers are currently negotiating a final deal that would remove all possibilities that the Islamic Republic could use its capabilities to build a nuclear weapon.

MANILA, Philippines — At least five people including a 2-yearold boy were killed and 15 others were injured Wednesday when a passenger bus rammed a stalled truck along the highway in eastern Philippines’ Camarines Sur province at the start of the Easter week exodus of vacationers to provinces, police said. Police Supt. Vicente Marfori said the driver of the bus from Manila is under investigation at the police station of Libmanan town, where the accident happened. The whole right side of the bus was dislodged by the collision. Marfori said the driver of the truck was in shock in a hospital. The four-day Easter week holidays officially start Thursday but vacationers have already started traveling to the provinces for the long break. Road accidents are common in remote areas in the Philippines, largely because of poor vehicle maintenance, bad road conditions and poor implementation of safety measures.

Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo or Jokowi as he is popularly known, said he was pleased with the result of the survey which said Jakarta has expanded and is potential to grow to become a global city. The study has been carried out by AT Kearney, a global management consultant, beginning 18 months earlier. “We could use the results of the

study for our evaluation to make correction of anything need to be corrected,” Jokowi said on Wednesday. The surveys, held every two years, covered many aspects including city transport, education, health and flooding, problems that the city has yet to seriously deal with. The study by AT Kearney, titled Global Cities Index 2014, contains category of Emerging Cities Outlook 2014, which maps out potentials of emerging cities to catch up with global cities and improve their global position in the coming decades. In the category, Jakarta tops the ranks of 35 emerging cities in the world with potential to grow to become global cities.

CALGARY, Alberta — A recent graduate of the University of Calgary was charged in the fatal stabbing of five people at a house party that the police chief called the worst mass slaying in the western Canadian city’s history. Matthew Douglas de Grood, the son of a 33-year veteran of the Calgary police force, picked up a large knife shortly after arriving at the party and stabbed the victims one by one shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday, said police Chief Rick Hanson. De Grood, 22, was charged with five counts of murder late Tuesday. “This is the worst murder — mass murder — in Calgary’s history,” Hanson said at a news conference Tuesday. “We have never seen five people killed by an individual at one scene. The scene was horrific.” The Calgary attack came nearly a week after a teenage boy in the U.S. stabbed and wounded 21 students at his high school outside Pittsburgh. Hanson said the motive for the Calgary attack was unknown.

He said the suspect’s father and mother are devastated. “They are now feeling so much sorrow,” he said. “Those young people are dead and they are absolutely devastated.” Hanson said the identities of the five victims —four men and a woman — will be released when autopsies are completed. He said their ages range from 22 to 27 and they were all “good kids.” Neither the victims nor the suspect had any prior involvement with police, Hanson said. Roberth pointed out that the drainage system in Jayapura city and its surrounding must be cleaned regularly, especially during the rainy season. “Any related institutions are expected to widen the drainage system and clean it; also local citizen awareness to maintain the cleanliness of the sewage system is required,” Roberth pointed out. The main roads that are inundated by the floods namely the Padang Bulan - Sentani Road, Jalan Baru Kotaraj - Tanah Hitam Road, and Entrop-Abepura road. Earlier, on Saturday through Sunday, April 12 to 13, Jayapura was hit by heavy rains that caused the floods at Sam Ratulangi main road. China’s “external environment remains complicated and volatile, and the national economy still faces downward pressure”, he said. But he stressed the number of new urban jobs created in the first quarter was 3.44 million, 40,000 more than the same period in 2013. The government last month announced a target of creating 10 million new city jobs this year. “The more important (indicators) by which we judge whether the growth rate has slipped below the targeted range... are employment and income,” he said. Li last week poured cold water on measures to boost growth, saying authorities “will not resort to short-term stimulus policies just because of temporary economic fluctuations”. Rather, he said they “will pay more attention to sound development in the medium- and long-run”. China in March set its annual growth target for this year at about 7.5 percent, the same as last year, though officials, including Li, have been quick to stress the target is flexible -- seen as a hint it may not be reached. WASHINGTON - US consumer prices rose in March driven by surges in the cost of food, housing and other services, Commerce Department data showed Tuesday. The consumer price index was up 0.2 percent over February, taking the 12-month gain to 1.5 percent. Energy prices fell slightly,

while food prices rose 0.5 percent, shelter costs jumped 2.7 percent and health care service costs gained 2.4 percent. Stripped of the volatile food and energy costs, core CPI rose 0.2 percent as well. The core index was up 1.7 percent for the 12 months to March. The index overall showed inflation remains tame, nothing that should stir concerns in the Federal Reserve, which wants in-

flation to pick up strength before it starts normalizing its ultra-low interest-rate policy. “All of the upward push came from food prices,” said Jennifer Lee of BMO Capital Markets. “It is becoming more expensive to eat these days, with costs rising for dairy, fruits and vegetables, and coffee, thanks to drought in various parts of the US, as well as Brazil and Southeast Asia.”

As information released by Spokesperson of Klungkung government on Tuesday, the coordination meeting was meant to answer the expectations of the community in accelerating the completion of the Gunaksa Pier construction as companion pier of Mentigi in Nusa Penida. Deputy Governor Sudikerta said the completion of Gunaksa Pier was sluggish due to lack of communication between the central, provincial and county level. To complete the pier for the islanders, he said, it required the spirit of harmony. At least, there were a number of issues discussed in the meeting, including the land acquisition, physical design of the

building, DED and normalization of Unda River and funding. For the land acquisition, Nengah Sukasta at the meeting expressed that Klungkung government had formed a team of land data collection. Meanwhile, the DED was still being corrected by the development consultant and expected to be promptly completed in order not to hamper the development stages. In response to that matter, deputy governor asked the team to work immediately and collect the data of the land. He also asked the consultant team to accomplish the DED at the latest on May 31. “The physical development is scheduled for completion and operation in 2016,” he said. In the meantime, the Subdivision Head of the LLASDP, Hardi Sukarliyanto, conveyed the central government was ready to help the development of Gunaksa Pier. However, the physical development could only be started when the normalization of Unda River had been completed. “So, please finish first the normalization of the Unda River,” he said. Sarjono said that his team would conduct a survey of the land that would be used for the road access to the pier because among the road access there were a number of large puddles. The Regent of Klungkung, Nyoman Suwirta, gladly welcomed the coordination meeting. His party asserted to have taken the steps to accelerate the pier construction. One of them was by establishing a team to make data collection of the land around the pier and was under progress. If the data collection had been completed, the normalization of downstream flow of the Unda River could be done as soon as possible. Normalization of the Unda River was quite urgent because if it continued to be delayed, the plot would constantly change when the water discharge expanded after it rained. These resonators are struck with special mallets made of bamboo and tire rubber. This balinese music usually used for accompany joged bumbung dance. This balinese music usually brought by some people which joined into sekaa or group according to each village and each group of joged bumbung dance. Each group of bumbung usually amounting among 18 until 27 people including the joged bumbung dancer. A very popular dance that seems related to the legong is the joged, performed by a girl in a variation of the legong costume and in the traditional legong steps. The dance is considered erotic by the Balinese because the girl entices the men from the audience by ‘making eyes’ at them during the course of the dance. The man invited must dance with her in postures that represent a love game of approach and refusal (ngibing), in which the man tries to come near enough to the girl’s face to catch her perfume and feel the warmth of her skin, the Balinese form of a kiss. As the audience becomes worked up, other men ‘cut in’ and dance with her. The joged could easily be a modernized, decadent version of the ancient mating dance still to be found in some village in Bali, stronghold of native tradition. There, once a year, a dance called abuang is performed in which the unmarried girls of the village appear dressed in their best, wearing gold flower head-dresses and meet bachelor boys who posture with the girl of their preference in a short dance in which the gestures make one think of a chaste and restrained joged.

increasing growth in 2014 was estimated to be driven by an increase in the growth of trade, hotel and restaurant, agriculture, transport and communication sector as well as the building sector. In terms of demand, the growth in 2014 was estimated to be supported by the increase in the growth of each component, especially the component of investment and export. “However, based on the results of survey, the entrepreneurs even indicated pessimism in regard to the future development of the business world,” he said.

He added it was indicated by the survey of business activity (SKDU) in the fourth quarter of 2013 with the weighted net balance (SBT) whose growth was slowing down. The slowdown was estimated to occur in some of the main economic sectors of the Bali Province. According to him, the growth of trade sub-sector was predicted to slightly increase at the beginning of the year due to the impact of the election. It included the agricultural sector, where the bad weather was estimated to end so that the agricultural production

was estimated to increase. Thus, it would encourage the growth in the agricultural sector. “In terms of building, the growth of construction sector is estimated to improve with the increasing growth of investment early this year. Exports are also estimated to increase with the improving weather conditions,” he said. SINGARAJA - Dozens of farmers from five farmer groups at Banyupoh village, Gerokgak, attended Climate Field School (CFS), Tuesday (Apr 15). The CFS was held by the Central Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The CFS was intentionally held by the Central BMKG due to the prediction on the emergence of El Nino hurricane in Indonesia from August to the end of 2014. Dozens of those farmers were expected to gain additional knowledge so that

they could overcome the effects of the storm. As consequence, the food security could still be maintained. The Head of the Central BMKG, Andi Eka Sakya, when opening the CFS said that it had been held in a number of provinces in Indonesia. Incessant CFS was made by the BMKG because the research had indicated that the El Nino hurricane would cause a prolonged drought disaster. If the provision of understanding was not given to prevent the impact of the fierce storm, it was feared to threaten the condition of food in Indonesia, including in Bali and Buleleng. SEOUL, South Korea — Nearly 300 people were still missing Wednesday several hours after a ferry carrying 459, most of them high school students, sank in cold waters off South Korea’s southern coast, killing at least two and injuring seven, officials said. There were fears, however, of a big jump in the death toll, as dozens of boats, helicopters and divers scrambled to rescue passengers who had been on the ferry traveling to the southern tourist island of Jeju. One passenger said he believed that many people were trapped inside the ferry when it sank. The ferry sent a distress call at about 9 a.m. local time Wednesday after it began leaning to one side, according to the Ministry of Security and Public Administration. The government said about 95 percent of the ferry, whose passengers included 325 high school students on a school trip to the popular tourist island, was submerged. Coast guard officers, speaking on condition of anonymity citing department rules, said at least two people died and 293 were unaccounted for, but gave no further details, including what might have caused the ferry to sink. Official estimates of the missing, dead and even the number of passengers on the ship varied wildly as the search went on. A government official had earlier said that more than 100 people were unaccounted for, but officials later boosted the number to 295 missing and then changed it to 293. Media photos showed wet students, some without shoes, some wrapped in blankets, tended to by emergency workers. One student,

DNA alternative to Pap smear sparks medical debate Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON — A high-tech screening tool for cervical cancer is facing pushback from more than a dozen American patient groups, who warn that the genetic test could displace a simpler, cheaper and more established mainstay of women’s health: the Pap smear. The new test from Swiss drug maker Roche uses DNA to detect the human papillomavirus, or HPV, which causes nearly all cases of cervical cancer. While such technology has been available for years, Roche now wants the Food and Drug Administration to approve its test as a first-choice option for cervical cancer screening, bypassing the decades-old Pap test. But a number of women’s groups — including the American Medical Women’s Association and Our Bodies Ourselves — warn that moving to a DNA-based testing model would be a “radical shift” in medical practice that could lead to confusion, higher costs and overtreatment. “It replaces a safe and effective well-established screening tool and regimen that has prevented cervical cancer successfully in the U.S. with a new tool and regimen not proven to work in a large U.S. population,” state the groups in a letter to FDA Commissioner Dr. Margaret Hamburg. The letter, dated Monday, is signed by 17 patient advocacy groups, including Consumers Union, the Cancer Prevention and

Treatment Fund and the National Alliance for Hispanic Health. Chief among the advocates’ concerns is that HPV-only testing could lead to overtreatment of younger women who carry the virus but have little risk of developing actual cancer. Most sexually active young people will contract HPV, though their bodies usually eliminate the virus within a few months. Only years-long infections develop into cancer. “Unfortunately the HPV test by itself isn’t very useful because so many young women have HPV that will disappear without any treatment,” said Diana Zuckerman of the Cancer Prevention and Treatment Fund. “Having an HPV test without also getting a Pap smear to check for problems is going to scare a lot of women who are not developing cervical cancer.” An FDA spokeswoman said the agency could not comment on the letter since it deals with a product under review. NEW DELHI — India’s top court on Tuesday issued a landmark verdict recognizing transgender rights as human rights, saying people can identify themselves as a third gender on official documents. The Supreme Court directed the federal and state governments to include transgendered people in all welfare programs for the poor, including education, health care and jobs to help them overcome social and economic challenges. Previously, transgendered Indians could only identify themselves as male or female in all official documents. The decision was praised as giving relief to the estimated 3 million Indians who are transgender. The court noted that it was the right of every human being to choose their gender while granting rights to those who identify themselves as neither male nor female. “All documents will now have a third category marked ‘transgender.’ This verdict has come as a great relief for all of us. Today I am proud to be an Indian,” said Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, a transgender activist who, along with a legal agency, had petitioned

the court. The court’s decision would apply to individuals who have acquired the physical characteristics of the opposite sex or present themselves in a way that does not correspond with their sex at birth. “The spirit of the (Indian) Constitution is to provide equal opportunity to every citizen to grow and attain their potential, irrespective of caste, religion or gender,” the court said in its order. The Supreme Court specified its ruling would only apply to transgender people but not to gays, lesbians or bisexuals. India’s LGBT communities have been protesting the court’s recent decision to reinstate a colonial-era law banning gay sex, which they say will make them vulnerable to police harassment. The court also ordered the government to put in place public awareness campaigns to lessen the social stigma against transgender people. Justice K.S. Radhakrishnan told the court that the “recognition of transgender (people) as a third gender is not a social or medical issue but a human rights issue.” “Transgenders are citizens of this country and are entitled to education and all other rights,” he said.

Six fish species need MSC certificate NUSA DUA - Six sea fish species need the certificate from the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) to be acceptable in the global market, an official said. “There are six sea fish species including skipjack, big eye tuna, yellow fin tuna, small crab, the grouper and red tuna that we proposed to have the MSC certificate ,” Fishery Marketing and Processing Director General Saut P Hutagalung said. Saut said the certificate is important because those fish species are major export earners from the fishery sector. Tuna fish and skipjack accounted for 18 percent of the country’s total earning of US$4.2 billion from the exports of fishery commodities in 2013, he said. “The certification will at the same time contribute to the program of sustainability of the fishery sector. In addition, most importers always ask about the MSC certificate to ensure that sea fishing have been environmentally friendly,” he said. Until, now no Indonesian fishing company already has the MSC certificate, he said. However, at the Nusa Dua conference there were five companies taking part in the certification program, including one from Bali, he said. He said apart from being expensive, it is not easy to secure the certificate as the companies and their fishermen partners have to go through a tight process of testing. It would be too expensive and difficult for the country’s six million small fishermen and small scale fish processing firms to go through the test, he said. He said 90 percent of 560,000

units of fishing vessels operating in the country’s territorial waters and the exclusive economic zone are less than 30 gross tons in measure that certification would be too big a burden for them. “In the first time we introduced the certification in 2008, many fishermen and fishing companies took to the street protesting. Currently there is growing awareness of the importance of certification. Even companies begin to ask their partners to join in the certification program,” he said. DENPASAR - A total of 11 polling stations (TPS) in Denpasar performed re-voting for the people’s representatives of the Bali provincial level on Tuesday (Apr 15). Such re-voting occurred in South Denpasar, namely at six polling stations at Sesetan village, while in West Denpasar included the three polling stations at Padangsambian village and two polling stations at Padangsambian Kelod village. In general, the implementation of revoting went on smoothly. For South Denpasar, namely at Sesetan, the re-voting at six polling stations was not carried out separately. The re-voting was centered at single location, namely at the office of Sesetan headman. They were the six polling stations number 19, 30, 35, 36, 58 and 61. Voters were not necessary to come to the previous polling station whose locations scattered.

Nusa Penida’s ring road to cost IDR 300 billion Bali Post

SEMARAPURA - Realization of promises to build ring roads in Nusa Penida subdistrict is not as easy as being pronounced during the campaign period. This mega project plan is estimated to cost quite fantastic, reaching IDR 300 billion, two times of the development budget of Gunaksa Pier. This was announced by the Head of Klungkung Public Works, AA Ngurah Agung, when asked about the continuation of the ring road construction plan in his office, Tuesday (Apr 15). As planned, there would be two ring roads to be constructed in Nusa Penida. A ring road would surround the island and another would be in the town to rearrange the face of the Nusa Penida. Ngurah Agung said that his party was currently working with the Udayana University in preparing the feasibility study for the ring road around the island. Implementation of the feasibility study was financed by Bali government worth IDR 1 billion. “After that, it will be resumed with the preparation of the Details Engineering Design (DED) and the environmental impact analysis,” he said. The ring road surrounding the island was planned to be built along 80 kilometers with the width of 12 meters. If all phases could run smoothly, the physical work would be planned in 2015, where next year, he said, the provincial government prepared a budget worth IDR 30 billion. In addition, the provincial government also attempted to propose a budget to central government to help

finance the construction of ring road in Nusa Penida. Ngurah Agung asserted the amount worth IDR 300 billion was just an estimation of the Public Works because the road construction was long and wide enough, and there was a number of land acquisition. Regarding the budget, it would be reviewed in order to be clear how much would be spent each year. The track could follow the old path or could make a new path. “Additionally, we do not know whether there will be a bridge construction or not. Who knows there will be a creek (ravine), so it needs to build a bridge as well,” he said. Meanwhile, the ring road work in the town was planned to start next year with a gradual budget of Klungkung government. Currently, his party was making data collection on the land to be used in the road construction because the width planned was quite large, reaching 20 meters and equipped with sidewalk. However, he insisted that relocation did not matter because the ring road construction would also rearrange the face of Nusa Penida town having been known to be chaotic and the road access was destroyed. Sutjidra proposed that in the future each customary village had to make a rule to reduce the number of dog population. “In the future, it must be attempted to make a rule at each customary village. For example, the dog owners must take care of their dog and never let theirs roam around the roads. All dogs and cats shall be well maintained,” said Sutjidra. His party added that the officers of Livestock Agency should persistently promote the hazards of rabies and regularly outreach the residents. Should there be any people who did not understand about rabies, the Livestock Agency should give explanation, and if it was necessary, it should be made proactively. “We emphasize on the preventive measures. In front of shrine are placed red, white or black umbrellas depending which Gods are worshipped in the shrines. In front of important shrine one sees, besides these umbrellas soars, tridents and other weapons, the “umbulumbul”, long flags, all these are prerogatives or attributes of Holiness. In front of the Temple gate put up “Penjor”, long bamboo poles, decorated beautifully ornaments of young coconut leaves, rice and other products of the land. Most beautiful to see are the girls in their colorful attire, carrying offerings, arrangements of all kinds fruits and colored cakes, to the Temple. Every visitor admires the grace with which the carry their load on their heads.

Caleb Walker and Cody Walker have been enlisted to complete their brother’s action scenes and “fill in small gaps left in production,” Universal Pictures said in a statement Tuesday on the film’s Facebook page.
