Kevin Spacey responds to Toronto mayor attack Associated Press Writer

TORONTO — Kevin Spacey on Saturday tweeted a Photoshopped image of himself between Toronto mayor Rob Ford and his brother in response to the siblings’ criticism that he won’t take photos with them. Rob and Doug Ford complained earlier this week that they were told they could not have their picture taken with the actor when Spacey and Rob Ford appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Mar 2.

The embattled mayor said he wouldn’t know Spacey “if I ran over him.” Ford’s brother called the actor “an arrogant SOB.” The pair made the comments on their show on YouTube named after the mayor’s supporters. Along with the photo he tweeted, Spacey said, “When did Mayor Ford start doing what people tell him to do? All you had to do was ask, guys. Here’s your pic.” During Spacey’s appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the actor cracked several jokes at the mayor’s expense when Spacey appeared after a brief cameo by Ford. “That’s the first time I’ve had to follow a Ford,” Spacey quipped. “And one that was so banged up.” When Kim-

mel thanked Spacey for sharing a dressing room with the mayor, Spacey responded, “Well, he threw up all over it, but those are the chances you take.” Ford has been under great pressure to resign since he admitted smoking crack last year, and several videos have emerged that showed him seemingly drunk or high. His antics have made him the target of late-night television comedians as well as embarrassed Canadians. City Council stripped him of many of his powers but does not have the authority to remove him. Undaunted, Ford has vowed to run for re-election this fall.

AUSTIN, Texas — Future had one last spot to fill on his upcoming album and he wanted Kanye West to guest. He sent over a few tracks and what happened next was completely unexpected. “He picked this ‘I Won’ track,” the Atlanta producer-rapper said Saturday during a two-day stop at South By Southwest. “He did the verse in one day and sent it back. That’s rare when you get a Kanye verse back in one day, so you know it’s one of them records when he does the verse and sends it back in 24 hours. That’s the icing on the cake with the album.” Future began to debut tracks from “Honest,” out April 22, at the annual music conference and festival on Friday and said he was excited for the wider world to hear what he feels is a very personal album. “Honest” also includes guest appearances from stars like Pharrell, Drake, Andre 3000 and Wiz Khalifa. West’s appearance on “I Won” is one of the more personal moments, encapsulating how deeply in love each is with the women in their lives. West is engaged to Kim Kardashian and Future will marry Ciara later this year. The song compares their relationships with the feeling of winning a trophy. “When you have songs like that, they empower women,” he said. “I just

feel like I want to big up women just in general, from my lady to his lady, to all women, to make sure they get their light on them and just knowing they’re important.” Future has much more going on this year than just the album. He’s got a tour to rehearse for and can’t take all the out-

side production opportunities he’s being offered. He’s also launching an apparel line. That’s just the business side. In his personal life, he’s preparing for the birth of a child with Ciara and trying to plan their wedding. The woman body was found in a state of decay, in which hands, feet, and head were off from body. This corpse suspected to be a master diver, Takashi Soko, who had been lost during a diving activity at Jungut Batu, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency last month.

family after Malang’s police suspected that the body was Takashi Soko who’s been missing for a month. “The body was allegedly the diver because it still wearing

black diving suit complete with oxygen tank in her back,” he said. Wirajaya, who received information from the local police, explained that the corpse was first

discovered by fishermen on a reef at Watu Nyonya on Friday. Police was contacted by fishermen and searched the area. But high current around the site made the body swept away. The next day, fishermen from Sempu Island, which is located around 400 meters from previous location, claimed to see similar corpse. After being informed by fishermen, police went to evacuate the body. Consulate General of Japan in Surabaya also had been

contacted by police to identify the body. “The family said they will check directly to Malang,” he said. Previously, seven Japanese tourists were missing on Friday (14/2) after diving in Jungut Batu, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency. Five of the victims were found alive after local residents, police, army, and search team look for them for four days. One of them was found dead and one still missing. (kmb31)
