of days after Stylecaster called out the star for sharing photos taken from other sources without providing credit. One photo in particular, posted to Mitchell’s Instagram story, featured a stunning snap of Hong Kong’s historic Monster Building, alongside the caption, “Night views.” It was here that the fashion and entertainment website noticed a telling computer cursor in the lower left side of the shot. The actress also shared another snap of a series of buildings that may inspire her “next nail polish change,” but a reverse image search suggested that the shot is actually a photo from 2014, taken in Tokyo, Japan. Hungary’s Viktor Orban wins ‘supermajority’ for third consecutive term in office

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has secured a third successive term in office after his right-wing Fidesz party won by a landslide in parliamentary elections. With around 93 percent of the ballots counted, Hungary’s National Election Office said Orban’s ruling administration had secured almost half of the vote on Sunday. The result is projected to keep the Fidesz party in power with a two-thirds majority — a key “supermajority” level which allows constitutional changes. The 54-year-old incumbent, who had built a fence on Hungary’s southern border during the 2015 migration crisis, campaigned for re-election on an anti-immigration and protectionist message once again. He has also pledged to cut income taxes and pass pro-economic growth policies. Speaking to supporters outside the Fidesz election headquarters in Budapest shortly before midnight local time, Orban said citizens of the central European nation had given themselves an “opportunity to defend themselves.” Migration: A fear of the ‘un-

The Library Service highly utilizes this facility to achieve the above objectives. This car is very proactive coming down to schools, cultural parks and centers of the crowd in Karangasem like the regular activity of car-free day on Jalur Sebelas in Padangkerta, Amlapura, on Sunday (Apr. 8). Society including the elderly to children was very enthusiastic to take advantage of this roving library car. “Not only reading, children in particular,

A planned space hotel hopes to welcome guests by 2022 — for a cost of almost $800,000 a night

CALIFORNIA - Looking for a getaway that offers unmatched views of sunrises and sunsets? Specifically, 384 of them in 12 days? Houston-based Orion Span hopes to launch the “first luxury hotel in space” — the 35-by-14foot Aurora Station — by late 2021 and bring guests on board the following year. The hotel will accommodate up to four travelers and two crew members at a time, racing them around the planet at high speeds for 12 days, the company said in a news release. Adventurers pay $9.5 million per person — or about $791,666 a night — and their $80,000 deposit can already be reserved online, company officials said. But don’t fear: The deposit is fully refundable. “We want to get people into space because it’s the final frontier for our civilization,” Orion Span’s

founder and chief executive, Frank Bunger, told Bloomberg. Bunger said that one reason Orion Span can aim for a price of less than $10 million per person is because of the declining price of launches. “Everybody’s forecasting that [launch prices are] going to fall,” he told Bloomberg. “Almost every week, there’s another rocketlaunch company that’s starting up with a new way to get to orbit cheaper, faster, better.” Orion Span’s announcement of a luxury hotel in space comes amid a revival of the commercial space industry. The launch of Elon Musk’s Falcon Heavy from the Kennedy Space Center in February, for

example, was the latest in a series of milestones that have renewed companies’ interest in space. The launch raised the question of whether SpaceX and other private enterprises could maintain their momentum and fulfill the promise of returning humans to space. Hunting for dark matter in the smallest galaxies in the Universe SURREY - Astrophysicists from the University of Surrey and the University of Edinburgh have created a new method to measure the amount of dark matter at the centre of tiny “dwarf” galaxies. Dark matter makes up most of the mass of the Universe, yet it remains elusive. Depending on its properties, it can be densely concentrated at the centres of galaxies, or more smoothly distributed over larger scales. By comparing the distribution

of dark matter in galaxies with detailed models, researchers can test or rule out different dark matter candidates. The tightest constraints on dark matter come from the very smallest galaxies in the Universe, “dwarf galaxies.” The smallest of these contain just a few thousand or tens of thousands of stars -- so-called “ultra-faint” dwarfs. Such tiny galaxies, found orbiting close to the Milky Way, are made up almost entirely of

dark matter. If the distribution of dark matter in these tiny galaxies could be mapped out it could provide new and exciting information about its nature. However, being entirely devoid of gas and containing very few stars, until recently there was no viable method for making this measurement. versity of Surrey have developed a new method to calculate the inner dark matter density of dwarf galaxies, even if they have no gas and very few stars. The key to the method is to make use of one or more dense star clusters orbiting close to the centre of the dwarf. Star clusters are gravitationally bound collections of stars that orbit inside galaxies. Unlike galaxies, star clusters are so dense that their stars gravitationally scatter from one another causing them to slowly expand. The research team made the key new insight when they realised that the rate of this expansion depends on the gravitational field that the star cluster orbits in and, therefore, on the distribution of dark matter in the host galaxy. The team used a large suite of computer simulations to show how the structure of star clusters is sensitive to whether dark matter is densely packed at the centre of galaxies, or more smoothly distributed. The team then applied their method to the recently discovered “ultrafaint” dwarf galaxy, Eridanus II, finding much less dark matter in its centre than many models would have predicted. Dr Filippo Contenta from the University of Surrey and lead author of the study said: “We have developed a new tool to uncover the nature of dark matter and already the results are exciting. Eridanus II, one of the smallest galaxies known, has less dark matter in its centre

than expected. If similar results are found for a larger sample of galaxies, this could have wide-ranging implications for the nature of dark matter.” Professor Mark Gieles, Professor of Astrophysics at the University of Surrey and Principal Investigator of the European Research Council (ERC) project that funded the project, added: “We started this ERC project with the hope that we could use star clusters to learn about dark matter so it is very exciting that it worked.” Professor Justin Read, a coauthor on the study from the University of Surrey, added: “It is challenging to understand our results for Eridanus II if dark matter comprises a weakly interacting ‘cold’ particle -- the currently-favoured model for dark matter. One possibility is that the dark matter at the very centre of Eridanus II was “heated up” by violent star formation, as suggested by some recent numerical models. More tantalising, however, is the possibility is that dark matter is more complex than we have assumed to date.” Dr Jorge Peñarrubia from the University of Edinburgh’s School of Physics and Astronomy said: “These findings lend a fascinating insight into the distribution of dark matter in the most dark matter dominated galaxies in the Universe, and there is great potential for what this new method might uncover in the future.” (net)

Lobster scarce, Tabanan fishermen choose to repair fishing gears

TABANAN — Sand lobster fishermen on the coast of Yeh Gangga, Sudimara village, Tabanan subdistrict, are currently upset. It happens because they are currently entering the period of famine. Their main livelihood as lobster fishermen is getting hard to find sand lobster. Moreover, fishermen prefer to pull their boat ashore because as it is rarely used. In addition, the fishermen also choose to fix their fishing gear as well as boat. A number of fishermen said the existence of sand lobster will re-emerge when entering August. Currently, the price of sand lobster reaches about IDR 270,000 per kilogram. This price is determined by the situation in export destination country such as China. Moreover, the demand has increased with the price of lobster can reach IDR 400,000 per kilogram. Not only the lack of catches becoming the constraints of fishermen, the regulation of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Number 56/2016 about the catching of lobster is also a challenge because of the difficulty in finding lobsters weighing over 200 grams. In general, the sand lobster entering adulthood in the waters of South Bali will weigh between 100 and 150 grams. A fisherman, I Ketut Sumadra, said he preferred to repair fishing gear while not going to sea. Virtually all the coastal fishermen of Tabanan, chiefly 79 fishermen, make lobster into their main livelihood. He continued the profession as fisherman is inherited from generation to generation, and lobster is a promising export commodity. On the other hand, collectors said the current famine season drastically reduces lobster catches. By and large, during harvest season, collectors can get sand lobster up to 50 kilograms per day. In the complicated condition faced by fishermen, the head of Tabanan Fishery Agency, I Made Subagia, admitted that he could not do much. Everyday Grandma Dendi as she familiarly addressed can only lament and stay silent in her rickety and ragged hut because of being paralyzed. When met at her home last weekend, she claimed to have been sick since a few years ago. However, a month ago she fell from bed so that her legs were swollen, cracked and

paralyzed. As a result, she can no longer walk. This condition makes Grandma Dendi served by her son, Made Marna, 40, who is a casual worker along with his wife. Condition of the house occupied by Marna is also apprehensive because it remains a hut. The yard looked muddy after heavy rain.

“The rainwater often fell in the room because of the leaky plaited bamboo wall and is exposed to rain water from outside,” said Grandma Dendi accompanied by his son and hamlet chief of Mekar Sari, Gede Suardana. Hamlet chief of Mekar Sari, Gede Suardana, also confirmed that Grandma Dendi and her son belong to poor families. He has proposed them to get a home refurbishment program but until now there has been no realization. ‘We hope

Cattle population in Karangasem drops 10,000 heads

AMLAPURA - Volcanic activities of Mount Agung had a significant impact on the condition of Bali cattle population in Karangasem. Based on the data from the Karangasem Agriculture Agency, the current cattle population approximately reaches 117,000 heads.

The latest data before the alert status of Mount Agung was increased to warning the cattle population reached 127,000 heads. He added there was no direct impact of volcanic ash exposure or poisonous gas of Mount Agung eruption causing the death of cattle. The death case of cattle at that time only amounted to one or two that happened during the process of transportation. Deutsche Bank ousts British CEO after two-week boardroom battle

Deutsche Bank, Germany’s biggest lender, has ousted its British chief executive, John Cryan, after years of losses and promoted the co-head of its retail banking arm to the top job. Following a two-week boardroom battle, Deutsche has appointed Christian Sewing as chief executive with immediate effect. He vowed to take “tough decisions” to return the bank to profitability. Cryan, a Yorkshireman who took the helm at Deutsche in June 2015, leaves at the end of this month, two years before his contract was due to end. And at the same time we will look to free up capacity for growth by pulling back from those areas where we are not sufficiently profitable,” he said. Octavio Marenzi, who runs capital markets management consultancy Opimas, said there could be job losses in London as a result. “We can expect a much stronger emphasis on the domestic German market, with a focus on commer-

cial and retail banking, and wealth management. It looks like the board of directors is capitulating on the investment banking front. This will hit Deutsche Bank’s London presence particularly hard, where the bulk of its investment banking activity is based. On that day, pupils, college students, teachers, lecturers, priests and other Hindu communities perform worship. All manuscripts mainly palm-leaf manuscripts, the Vedas, religious literature and books as source of knowledge are consecrated and given the offerings. By and large, books are consecrated on satvika time when the sun rises. At that time, the atmosphere is very calm and sunny. In the meantime, rajasika time (noon, turbulent time) and tamasika time (evening, time of dimmer) are considered not good. “Goddess Saraswati is symbolized as a very beautiful and charming goddess. Saraswati, Banyu Pinaruh, Soma Ribek on Monday (Jan. 23) and Pagerwesi on Buda Kliwon Sinta, Wednesday (Jan. 25) has close relationship to Saraswati. Celebration of the Saraswati is closely associated with Pagerwesi. If on Saraswati day the Hindus worship the Goddess Saraswati as the goddess blessing the science, in the next morning they perform Banyu Pinaruh. This holy day has a philosophy that science flows like water and cools down humans so that they need to learn it in depth. On this day, devotees do self-purification with a shower and shampoo in source of holy water such as lakes, ocean or tributaries. After the Banyupinaruh is Soma Ribek, meaning that when humans have already obtained the knowledge and possessed skills, they will be very valuable when they are used positively in order to bring in changes to society. 4 hurt after knifewielding man attacks Indianapolis crowd

INDIANAPOLIS — A knife-wielding man injured three people in an attack in downtown Indianapolis after being told to stop playing a siren on a bullhorn, authorities said Sunday. Four people, including the suspect, were hospitalized after the attack Saturday afternoon on the American Legion Mall and outside the Central Library located across the street. Two were in critical condition and two in serious condition, Indianapolis Fire Department Battalion Chief Rita Reith said. Gary Madison, 57, of Indianapolis faces three preliminary charges of battery by means of a deadly weapon, jail records showed. Taylor George told The Indianapolis Star she was with a group of family and friends, enjoying a sunny day, when the man rode up on a bicycle, got off and began playing a siren on a bullhorn.

George said she and a female friend asked him to stop. She said her friend has epilepsy and worried the noise would trigger a seizure. George said no one in the group knew the man, but they had seen him downtown before. “He has been down here before with the bullhorn, but usually he uses it” to talk, George said.After being told to stop, the man immediately pulled out a knife and tried to stab her and her friend, George said. George, who is pregnant, said the blade came within inches of her stomach. As the two dodged the man, George said, he threw his bike at them and other members in the group. “He pulled his knife out of his

pocket and when he couldn’t get us with the knife, he threw his bike at us. And that’s when my family members and friends tried to stop him,” George said. Four men in her group rushed the suspect. One of her friends was stabbed in the stomach and two in their arms, she said. The suspect stabbed himself in the abdomen accidentally, George said. BAHRAIN - The battle to become the first driver of the modern generation to win a fifth world title just got really interesting. Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton started the season as the hot favourite to beat his rival Sebastian Vettel to the achievement, but the Ferrari driver now has a 17-point lead after victories in the first two races of the season. Vettel’s win in Bahrain on Sunday demonstrated both the size of the task facing Hamilton and the incredibly high level of competition at the front of the field between these two all-time greats. Hamilton was pleased to rescue a podium finish in third place from

a race he started ninth, survived a collision with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and pulled off a spectacular overtaking move that saw him pass three cars in almost one manoeuvre. But the 49th victory of Vettel’s career was right up there with the very best he has ever achieved, a masterclass in control and calm under intense pressure brought about by a cunning attempt by Mercedes’ strategists to overcome what, at least before the race, appeared to be a faster car.

How did Vettel do it? Vettel looked in complete control of the race until Mercedes put his pursuer Valtteri Bottas on the same one-stop strategy as Hamilton. It was a devilishly clever move and it left Ferrari with an agonising decision. Stick to their plan of a two-stop or try to make the tyres last? Pit again, and Vettel would have to pass both Mercedes out on track. Stay out and he would be asking ‘soft’-compound tyres to do 39 laps - 30% longer than the recommended maximum life. Vettel said: “By them going on to the medium, I thought: ‘That’s checkmate.’ Because [at that point] we had to come in again. It was a

great strategy and put us under a lot of pressure.” Ferrari said they were always open to the idea of keeping Vettel out, but the unlikelihood of it working can be judged by the fact that it was their ‘plan D’ - their fourth-best pre-race strategy. Vettel made his first and only stop on lap 18 and fitted soft tyres that were expected to last only 30 laps. There were 39 to go. On softer tyres, he should have been much faster than Bottas behind him on mediums, but the pace differential was not that big and by lap 30 there was nothing to choose between them on lap time. Ferrari kept their options open

as long as they could, but the final turning point was team-mate Kimi Raikkonen’s second stop from third place on lap 35, when something went badly wrong. The left rear was stuck. Raikkonen was given the ‘go’ signal before the wheel had even been taken off. He bowled over a mechanic, who suffered a nasty leg fracture, and was forced to stop in the pit lane. That meant the pit lane was out of use for Ferrari for a key period of time, by which point the opportunity to pit Vettel and give him sufficient time to have a realistic chance of chasing down both Mercedes was effectively gone. For Bayern Munich, Mia san Mia – the Bavarian dialect and the club’s motto, a slogan for their unerring unity – became Mia san Meister, commonplace these days, after they racked up their sixth successive Bundesliga title. The cries of campeones, that could be heard from inside a throbbing away dressing room at the Augsburg Arena and the conga, led by Juan Bernat and Rafinha, that snaked around the pitch, in front of those delirious supporters cherishing another domestic crown, are the fruits of another season that, for a club defined by trophies, is only just starting. In-house, however, celebrations were purposely low-key. The players embraced, enjoyed a post-match (non-alcoholic) beer, according to Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, or two, but, generally, this was a brief kind of bliss, more so a nod to having scribbled a tick in the box. Yes, they boogied to Billie Jean and Stayin’ Alive and they clearly enjoyed the occasion, cradling a championship shield made of cardboard, without prolonging the party. For Bayern and Jupp Heynckes, the 72-year-old manager who is expected to call it quits – again – in the summer, it is still possible to replicate the incredible treble they managed five years ago. It is no surprise then that Bild billed Heynckes, who has won 19 of 22 league matches this season, as the Vater des Erfolgs (the father of success) and Kicker described him as Der Baumeister, the master architect, a man who, to use its analogy, “made a stuttering Ferrari slick again”.
