Freedom From Chronic Suffering— Pain,

Fatigue, Symptoms & Anxiety A Mind-Body Approach NICOLE SACHS

There is brain science behind why we are chronically symptomatic, fatigued, and anxious. Understanding the mind-body connection is key to freeing ourselves from the protective mechanism by which the brain and nervous system initiate chronic conditions.

A dysregulated nervous system mistakenly sends pain signals in a chronic “fight or flight” mode. When repressed emotions and stored trauma are allowed to surface safely, the body settles into “rest and repair,” and symptoms stop flaring.

JUNE 21–26

Guided by Nicole Sachs, discover how to invite these repressed feelings to rise, creating a mind-body transformation. Through discussion, group work, meditation, somatic embodiment, and Nicole’s signature JournalSpeak® practice, you establish a foundation for long-lasting wellness. Nicole Sachs, LCSW, is creator of JournalSpeak, a groundbreaking language of wellness. She is author of The Meaning of Truth and the online course Freedom From Chronic Pain.

Ancient Wisdom, Present Freedom Immersing in the Foundations of Mindfulness

WILL KABAT-ZINN Tuition $570 ($510 Members)

Together we explore how mindful awareness—the liberating quality that has been called “the Heart of Buddhist Meditation”—can become naturally and more continuously present in our lives.

Guided by Will Kabat-Zinn, we engage in formal and informal meditation practices, including sitting meditation, walking meditation, standing and lyingdown meditations, and movement-based practices. As mindfulness gains momentum, it allows us to see with penetrating insight into the nature of our own hearts and minds, and to taste the freedom that the Buddha pointed to thousands of years ago.

We immerse ourselves in what are traditionally called the four foundations of mindfulness—mindfulness of body, feelings, mind, and the tendencies of mind that lead to suffering or liberation.

Workshop begins Sunday at 8:00 p.m.

Will Kabat-Zinn is a mindfulness and meditation teacher whose passion is to help people put into practice and experience for themselves the liberating power of mindfulness.
