Data Protection: Are you Compliant?
Did you know that under the Data Protection Act, most businesses are required to register as Data Controllers/ Processors with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner? If your company handles any personal data and hasn’t yet registered, you are at risk of non-compliance.
EO can organise a free sensitisation presentation where Amaan Kassam & Co. Advocates will walk you through the key provisions of the Act and how to ensure that your business is fully compliant.
The format could be a Forum Session, a 1:1, or a Chapter Wide presentation (to be confirmed).

EO KENYA RENEWALS NOTICE FY 2026 - 2027
Dear EO Kenya Members,
On behalf of the EO Kenya Board, we want to express our gratitude for your contribution to the Chapter during the current year and trust that this year has been a fulfilling one in your EO journey. The Board invites you to renew your membership for the year 2026/2027 and this notice provides guidance on the renewal process.
Invoices will be issued on May 4th, 2026 to members who have submitted all the forms in compliance with the renewal process.
Income Verification and Grace Application Forms
All members are required to submit Income Verification Forms confirming that each member meets the turnover criteria ($ 1 million) and that the business is a qualifying business.
Please note:
1) From July 2022, members who have been with the Chapter for 10 years and are in good standing are not required to be assessed annually for turnover or qualifying criteria.
2) New members who have joined the Chapter from January 1st, 2026 are not required to re-submit income verification forms.
Any member who does not meet the turnover or qualifying criteria can request a one-year grace period based on the recommendation to the Board by the Forum Moderator and the Membership Chair. Subsequently, a member may request an extension to the Board on the recommendation of the Forum Moderator and the Membership Chair of a grace period for another two years. This extension is granted annually on the basis that the member continues to add value to the Chapter and the Forum as an entrepreneur and that the
extension and the support from EO will enable the member to meet the turnover and qualifying criteria at the end of the grace period.
Kindly note that the provision of incorrect information on the meeting of the qualifying criteria will result in instant disqualification from membership with no refund on the membership dues paid for the year.
Member Commitment Forms
All members (including tenured members) are required to commit and adhere to the EO Governance documents by providing consent in respect to use of personal data provided by EO.
We kindly request that all forms are completed and sent to the EO Kenya administration team at manager@eokenya.org and assist@eokenya. org no later than April 30th, 2026. The 2026/2027 membership will not be renewed if these forms are not received by the stated deadline.

EO GLC 2026, Dublin — Record-breaking, energising, and unforgettable
The 29th Global Leadership Conference of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization in Dublin truly lived up to its reputation as the biggest and best yet — and for EO Kenya, it marked a milestone moment.
This year, 10 of our board members travelled together — a first for our chapter — investing in alignment, leadership, and connection ahead of the year. And in true GLC spirit, we didn’t just attend history… we became part of it, celebrating a Guinness World Record together.
From the iconic energy of Riverdance to world-class speakers, the experience was both inspiring and thought-provoking. Harris III challenged us to “think wow before how,” while Steven Bartlett (of The Diary of a CEO) reminded us that how we show up today matters most.
We explored the future with Shivvy Jervis, and unpacked the critical distinction between growth vs scale with Benjamin Hardy. Creativity and innovation were brought to life through Junk Kouture. Beyond the stage, learning tracks tailored to board roles ensured each of us is better equipped for the year ahead — sharpening how we lead, execute, and deliver impact for EO Kenya.
And of course, GLC is as much about experience as it is about learning — from recording music in the studio where U2created history, to Irish games like hurling, whisky tasting, and a lively Dublin

pub crawl. A special highlight was connecting with EO Durban and EO Joburg over a memorable dinner.
We also had proud moments seeing our own Jamie Pujara on stage, and hearing from incoming Global Chair Taunya Renson-Martin as she set the tone for EO’s future.
For our board, however, the biggest takeaway was simple: connection.
We travelled together, learned together, and strengthened the foundations of how we will show up as a team.
We return energised and aligned, carrying powerful messages with us — courage comes before curiosity, think wow before how, we are in the imagination age, and Sine Metu — without fear (from Jameson).
We’re excited for the year ahead — one of focus, clarity, and meaningful impact — and can’t wait to bring this energy back to our chapter.
Let’s make the upcoming year legendary.
