What you missed On adopting a sales mindet - 28th November
The last event of 2025, saw a record breaking 50 people sign up and attend to this finale. Thanks for the great support. Attendees rated this event as 9.0/10 which is great feedback. With great a brand new location at Enaki Trademarkmembers turned up early for a great breakfast and connected with other EO members.
Turns out selling is not the Wolf of Wall Street types. Sales is about sacling your leadership (Laurie Fuller) to create opportunities and mindsets. Sales is about having the right people in the right seats - Strategic HR (Paul Kassimu); Sales is about creating repeatable processes, creating growth and abundant mindsets. Sales should be strategic and at the heart of the business creating revenue engines using data driven decisions. All of this we have heard before, yet Edward brought about realisation that many of us do not do this obvious stuff.
Finally, As I end 2025 as a learning Chair, I am grateful for those who have arrived and really benefited from the events. I had tried to curate a series that gets to the heart of what we do everyday. and encourage and assits our members to Think Big and Be Bold. I hope to see more new faces and more of you at our next year events. Don’t even come to learn - just come to connect with EO members, have great food and take some time away from work to help you reflect on your business or yourself. Next year we will move the series to family governance, company valuations and exits, innovation, and building resilience and grit. Most of them are open to SLP and a couple will also be open to the whole family.
It has been an incredible year for EO Kenya, full of powerful learning events, inspiring speakers and unforgettable MyEO adventures. We have grown together, been challenged together and shared the kind of real conversations that remind us why this community matters so much.
A huge thank you to our board for showing up, giving your time and energy, and stepping up to lead. You make all of this possible. And a very special thank you to our EO staff, Sachna and Edith, for your hard work, patience and for putting up with us entrepreneurs with such good grace and humour.

EO Ignite is a regional event based in South Africa, open to EO members from across the globe rotating yearly between Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. Ignite caters to between 150-200 Entrepreneurs who aim to come together to learn, grow, bond, network and of course, have some fun. Cape Town will be the host for 2026 and we look forward to hosting you in the Winelands.
The format of Ignite is centered around TED style talks, learning from our own member’s stories, their highs and lows and incredible achievements while facing the challenges of being an entrepreneur.
