INSPIRING By: Leon P. “Barack Obama was the best president the United States ever had. He got things done better than Donald Trump is doing. Joe Biden was good too. The economy and the gas went down before Trump came in. There were parades for the handicapped. He helped people get jobs. 45% of the people got jobs. This month, everything is going up too much because of the fight in Iran. The museum was nice. We saw the dining room, the Oval Office. The Obamas had parties for the groups that came inside the White House. The songs they were playing at the museum were good. There were a lot of floors– eight floors.”

The article is about New York Vaction. I saw my family there and we had a great time. I had a nice time at my vacation. We like to sit and hang around with the people and we ride the plane. One day, we asked our mom and dad to go to New York and we had a great time together. We took a bus to go to see our family there in New York city. I had a great time in 2 weeks. I always had a great time to visit the family there. I always like to visit my grandmother and grandfather when I have nice kids. I always like to feed goats when we stayed there. I really had a great time with my family and friends there and we take nice picture. I always like to talk about and communicate with. I always enjoy my time there. It was quiet. And it was extremely cold in New York. I always enjoyed being there. I always enjoy being my vacation for 2 weeks. I always like to commmunicate each other. And we ride the Evanston bus to New York. I always like to communicate and we visit there. I always have 2 week vacation. I satnext to the ladies and we had a lot of fun out there. I saw my grandmother and grandfather. It was amazing. We had fun out there. I sat down and really enjoyed myself. I really had a good time on my vacation. “I had a great time,” I said. ““Maybe I’ll go again in November for Thanksgiving Day.”

CAMP BARR By Charles A. It was fun! It was far. Very very far. A long drive. It was far and we had a long drive. It was a big camp. We’re in cabins. We were in cabins too. All of us were! The boys and the girls. Catching our fish. I know I caught that fish. I almost had him. We had hot dogs. We had food. We had food on there. They did make us do all those kitchen duties. Groups, like different groups. I was in Group A. The first group. Different tasks. We did like help we do in the kitchen. There was group B too. Help in the kitchen for the rest of the clients. Set up and that’s it. We did the church. People were in the church too, singing. Then they gave us those plaques. Those plaques they gave us. With my name on it! I got me one. I got one. I was in group A. Me catching that fish. It was fun! My first fish. My first fish I caught. We came back home, almost late. Long drive we came back home. That’s it. We’re right back home. That was it. The end.

REMEMBERING MY DAD ON HIS BIRTHDAY By Alexander William Snyder I miss him. His birthday was in October. I have a picture I drew of him. He’s caring, nice, protective. When I was in the nursing home visiting him, I was 7 or 8 when I visited him. When I was 7, he had a brain aneurism and a stroke and almost died. They said it’s good he got there on time, because if he didn’t, he would’ve died. I was a kid and didn’t know what he was talking about. My dad was paralyzed and couldn’t move. He could only move one arm. There was a man in the room next to him in the nursing home. The man told me to “come here,” and I went because I’m a kid and didn’t know. He touched me inappropriately, so my dad wanted to hurt him but couldn’t because he’s paralyzed and couldn’t get up. So he reported him and got him moved to a different nursing home. He smoked a lot! He smoked 2 cartons in less than a week. I wouldn’t be able to do that, even if I was a smoker! He brought snacks home for me when he came to visit. He gave me money. He made me talk when he said stuff. I got to hang out with my dad.

TWELFTH NIGHT: A WESTTOWN REVIEW WESTTOWN SHAKESPEARE By Lucy Renee It was real nice! I just liked the show. I like the way Jake was staggering on the stage. He was drinking beer and standing like falling onto the floor. I like the way Mikey played his part. I think him and that lady was acting out together. He was like going off the stage and on the stage with the lady. He was jumping. I had a good time! The scenery when Mady was acting. She was acting nice, acting out in the play. One had a ring and asked the other lady, “Will you marry me?” The fellow was going to ask the lady on the stage. It was a lovely play. It was a nice romance play. Grant was funny. Mikey was funny too. Him and Mady, they were both funny. It was nice to see Grant.
