Occupational Therapists play a key role acting as expert witnesses in clinical negligence and personal litigation.
We require case managers and experienced paediatric occupational therapists to act as expert witnesses. If you are confident, have excellent communication skills, enjoy a challenge and are intrigued by the forensic nature of this work – this could be the position for you.
We offer you:
• Casework to fit in with other work; you work on a self-employed, flexible basis, alongside your “day job”
• This is a remote working position
• Excellent remuneration

Requirements:
• Practising clinically in a senior role with a minimum of 7-8 years’ post qualification experience (inclusive of any case management experience)
• Previous medico-legal experience not essential

Emma Heathcote-James –Founder, Little Soap Company
Emma Heathcote-James launched Little Soap Company from her kitchen table in 2008 with a vision; simple, natural soaps that were kind to skin and planet. Her autism and ADHD shaped a unique way of working that has powered the company’s rapid growth from local market stalls to national supermarket listings and a Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
Behind the scenes, Emma has built a team that complements her strengths and supports areas she finds more challenging. Today, finance from Lloyds is helping the business expand internationally and invest in new software to drive back-office efficiency.

Backing disabled entrepreneurs
Disabled and neurodivergent entrepreneurs make up around 25% of the UK’s 5.5m small businesses.
By creating equal opportunities for disabledowned businesses, The Lilac Review estimated that £230bn could be added to the economy.
But backing disabled entrepreneurs isn’t just about economic growth, it promotes equality, challenges stereotypes and supports a more inclusive and diverse society.
Working alongside Naidex, The LILAC Centre for Disabled Entrepreneurship and Small Business Britain we’re helping to build tools and support networks to help disabled entrepreneurs start, run and scale their businesses.
The disabled-owned business hub brings these resources together, offering practical support from mentoring and funding information to accessible resources co-designed with disabled founders.

These popular 1-2-1 clinics allow visitors to have a free 25-minute confidential consultation with an Admiral Nurse. Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses supported by Dementia UK, they provide life-changing support for families affected by Alzheimer’s and all forms of dementia. Private time with a doctor for people experiencing memory concerns. These one-to-one chats are provided at no cost, giving individuals and families the opportunity to speak directly with experienced clinicians about memory concerns and possible next steps. Sessions can be booked onsite on the day.

The Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT) is a pioneering, scientifically proven training experience that immerses participants in the world of dementia.
