A TRULY GLOBAL EXPERIENCE! WITH HUMBLE BEGINNINGS & HUMANITY AT ITS CORE... CHARITY BEGINS HERE! Global Enterprise Connect (GEC) Open is an annual global corporate golf tournament held across several countries in eastern hemisphere amongst top corporates and industry stalwarts. 2014 marked the debut year for this much-revered golf tournament in which the first-ever golf round was organized at Address Montgomerie in Dubai. With massive encouragement from sponsors and participants alike, in 2015 and 2016, the event grew in popularity and was played in six and eight countries respectively connecting over 1100 corporates in the GEC ecosystem. Over time, the nascent GEC Open has matured into a global platform for competitive amateur golf, networking, forging everlasting friendships and business relations. The year 2017 edition took the event to unprecedented heights as between August and December as many as 29 national qualifying golf rounds were held in 18 countries. During this journey, the GEC community welcomed over 2400 corporate leaders under the aegis of 800+ global organisations!

Juni 2016 ihre Kräfte. Dann nämlich findet das Cleven & Auma Obama Invitational (CAOI) statt. Dabei handelt es sich um ein Golfturnier mit vorgeschaltetem GalaAbend in Bad Griesbach, Bayern, das von der Cleven-Stiftung als Charity-Event veranstaltet wird. Ziel ist es, Aufmerksamkeit und Spenden für die beiden Stiftungen und ihre sozialen Projekte zugunsten von Kindern und Jugendlichen zu generieren. Ziel: Kinder und Jugendliche bei der Gestaltung ihrer Zukunft unterstützen Dass die Cleven-Stiftung die Auma Obama Foundation Sauti Kuu als Mit-Begünstigten für ihre Veranstaltung gewählt hat, kommt nicht von ungefähr. A GLOBAL CORPORATE GOLF TOURNAMENT FEATURING TOP GLOBAL EXECUTIVES PLAYING AT THE WORLD’S BEST COURSES The fastest growing corporate golf tournament builds on world-class standards and interesting format of play. The winners of the national qualifying round will represent their country at the World Final – Dubai Corporate Golf World Cup 2018 – to be held on two world class golf courses in December in Dubai, UAE.
COUNTRY QUALIFYING ROUNDS
DUBAI CORPORATE GOLF WORLD CUP
The playing format is Individual Stableford with full handicap allowance. Play is generally in three and fourballs. Gentlemen play from the white/ competition tees & Ladies play from red tees.
The top two players from each participating country will qualify for the World Final. Ranking points for each player will be calculated towards global ranking points on a global leaderboard.

The competition is a two-day 36 holes tournament
INDIVIDUAL STABLEFORD | FULL HANDICAP ALLOWANCE l The competition is a One day 18 holes tournament l The tournament is open to golfers over 18 years of age l Net Par: 2pts | Net Birdie: 3pts | Net Eagle: 4 pts | Net Bogey:1 pt. | Net Double Bogeys or higher: NO POINTS. l Players requested to pick up their ball if the score is a double bogey or higher to speed up play l Only valid club handicaps, national handicap certificates or USGA issue handicap’s will be accepted l Corporate Ranking Points & Leaderboard- Every player will accumulate ranking points at GEC events based on their Stableford score.
