WELCOME ! SWING LOCAL — CONNECT GLOBAL ! Greetings, The idea of a global golf tournament which provides the participants with a unique blend of competitive sport and networking opportunities started four years ago. It’s been heartening to see the tremendous growth of the event from just an idea to one of the most coveted golf tournament for amateurs in the world today. We are committed to creating an economic networking platform for leading industry stalwarts as well as up and coming corporate professionals that will forge not only local, but cross-border business relationships. With the underlining theme of ‘giving back to society’, GEC Open initiative would soon replace corporate globalisation with a global network of local living economies. GEC Open breathed a new wave of change in which this elite sport was played. With plenty of downtime to actually talk and accessibility for all ages, it’s a unique blend of sports and networking. GEC brings together leading global organizations and executives on a common platform through golf. GEC works to improve the lives of others through charitable causes while growing the bond & strength of business between corporate leaders. We look forward to the fifth edition of the tournament with great anticipation. With 54 rounds in 34 countries, beckons a vast opportunity to grow the game and connect another 3700+ industry leaders from 1500+ organizations in the GEC ecosystem. Join us for a world class, luxurious golfing journey and experience what it feels like to be a pro on tour! Happy golfing!

A TRULY GLOBAL EXPERIENCE! WITH HUMBLE BEGINNINGS & HUMANITY AT ITS CORE... CHARITY BEGINS HERE! Global Enterprise Connect (GEC) Open is an annual global corporate golf tournament held across several countries in eastern hemisphere amongst top corporates and industry stalwarts. 2014 marked the debut year for this much-revered golf tournament in which the first-ever golf round was organized at Address Montgomerie in Dubai. With massive encouragement from sponsors and participants alike, in 2015 and 2016, the event grew in popularity and was played in six and eight countries respectively connecting over 1100 corporates in the GEC ecosystem. Over time, the nascent GEC Open has matured into a global platform for competitive amateur golf, networking, forging everlasting friendships and business relations. The year 2017 edition took the event to unprecedented heights as between August and December as many as 29 national qualifying golf rounds were held in 18 countries. During this journey, the GEC community welcomed over 2400 corporate leaders under the aegis of 800+ global organisations!
