The 2018-19 season of GEC Open golf tournament was a landmark season as it marked the completion of five successful editions. When the tournament began in 2014 as just single day event in Dubai, it was a far-fetched dream to grow the tournament into a globally recognised fixture on amateur calendars around the world. Five years on, GEC Open has established itself as the fastest growing amateur golf tournament in the modern history of the game. With the support of our sponsors, partners and associates over the years, weâ€™ve managed to introduce around 10,000 amateur golfers in the GEC Ecosystem hosting golf days and networking events in over 35 different countries and 50+ golf courses worldwide. ABOUT GEC OPEN GEC Open is an amateur corporate golf tournament held annually across the world. The tournament attracts participation from CXOâ€™s, HNIâ€™s and key decision makers of various industries. It is also the fastest growing golf tournament in the modern history of corporate golf. GEC Open made its debut in 2014 with just one golf round in Dubai. In 2015 and 2016, the event grew in popularity and was played in six and eight countries respectively connecting over 1100 corporates in the GEC ecosystem. Since then, GEC Open has matured into a global platform for networking, forging everlasting friendships and business relations. The 2017 edition held 29 golf rounds in 18 countries reaching over 2400 corporate leaders under the aegis of 800+ global organizations! GEC Open 2018 hosted 54 qualifying rounds in 34 countries making it one of the biggest corporate golf tournament all around the world. DUBAI CORPORATE GOLF WORLD CUP The annual GEC Open global golf tour culminates in Dubai at the World Final â€“ Dubai Corporate Golf World Final 2018-19. To be played over two days in March, the 36-hole tournament will see national qualifying winners from all over the world competing under their national colors for the coveted championship at two of the world-class venues in Dubai at Jumeirah Golf Estates - Earth and Fire Course. Dubai Corporate Golf World Final provides amateur and club golfers with a unique once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the thrill and excitement akin to a professional player. GEC Open breathed a new wave of change in which this elite sport was played. With a lot of downtime to talk and accessibility for all ages, itâ€™s a unique blend of sports and networking. GEC brings together leading global organizations and executives on a common platform through golf. GEC works to improve the lives of others through charitable causes while growing the bond & strength of business between corporate leaders.

GLOBAL BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARDS In its 6th edition, GEC Open announces Global Business Excellence Awards. The excellence awards are designed to celebrate the top performers and innovators from various industries contributing tremendously to the economies of the participating nations in the GEC Open 2019-20. Top ten leaders and corporations representing a wide array of industries will be crowned winners at the each of the national qualifying rounds. An award like no other, GEC excellence awards will honour both companies who are at the forefront of innovation in their industry as well as the individuals leading the progress. The nominations vie for the title in over 50 categories decided by a creditable jury of leading industry experts. It is time to celebrate the unsung heroes of industrial growth and torchbearers of technological advancements!

GLOBAL ENTERPRISE CONNECT The GEC Open World Final 2019-20 will also host the inaugural ‘Global Enterprise Connect”. The leading GEC Excellence award winners from participating countries will join the world finalist corporate golfers for an information symposium and networking conference. The ‘Connect’ aims to bring focus on creating more opportunities for the growth of business relationships among delegates from participating countries. During the show, one can not only interact with the leading decision makers from a number of industries, but also top amateur golfers from far corners of the world and gain insights into the global golf cultures.
