O Enoturismo da Sogrape abriu portas na década de 60 nas Caves de Vinho do Porto, em Vila Nova de Gaia, e posteriormente no Douro. Ao longo do seu percurso, foi recolhendo experiências e padrões de preferência que lhe permitem apresentar uma oferta de Enoturismo multicultural, rica e diversificada em todas as regiões onde está presente. SOGRAPE WINE TOURISM

Wine tourism at Sogrape opened its doors in the 1960s at the Port Wine Cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, and later in the Douro. Over the course of its journey, it gathered experiences and standards of preference allowing it to o er a multicultural, rich and diversified wine tourism experience in all of the regions where it is found. Authenticity, history, tradition and a respect for the heritage of each brand identity are the values it has upheld for decades, and now aims to o er its visitors.

As Caves Ferreira localizam-se na marginal do Rio Douro, no Centro Histórico de Vila Nova de Gaia, num edifício histórico de grande dimensão, com referências desde o início do século XVIII. No seu interior, conta-se a história da marca desde 1751, através da vida e obra de Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, num trajeto que percorre a Região do Douro e os seus vinhos, destacando-se a famosa coleção de Vintages, cujo exemplar mais antigo data de 1815.

FERREIRA CELLARS

Ferreira Cellars are located on the Douro's riverfront, in the historical centre of Vila Nova de Gaia, in a large historical building whose features date back to the early 18th century. Inside, it recounts the history of the brand since 1751, through the life and works of Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, in a journey through the Douro Region and its wines, particularly the famous collection of Vintages, whose oldest example dates back to 1815.

Memory and regional flavors are the two ingredients that feed Seixo restaurant. Here, the cuisine of Chef Vasco Coelho Santos showcases the Douro River and the old vineyards, and the main objective is to combine comfort and tradition with flavor and emotion. The menu is full of seasonality and sustainability. Local and national products have a prominent place and merge with the stories of the people and their land. The customer is invited to relax, taste and enjoy the gastronomy and all the surroundings at the most varied moments. At the table, in Seixo, the product is celebrated, but also the region and Portugal.

A estação ferroviária do Pinhão foi construída durante o século XIX e é uma das mais bonitas da região do Vale do Douro. Recebeu o seu primeiro comboio a 1 de junho de 1880 e desempenhou um papel muito importante no negócio de Vinho do Porto, já que permitia o seu transporte por comboio. Neste espaço é possível fazer uma visita guiada à coleção do artista J. Oliveira, de 1937, composta por 24 magníficos painéis de azulejos que retratam as paisagens e costumes da região vinhateira. A Loja da Estação do Pinhão dispõe de uma variada oferta de vinhos com opções de provas harmonizadas com produtos da região.

The Pinhão Railway Station, built in the 19th century, is one of the most beautiful in the Douro Valley region. It received its first train on 1st June 1880, and played an extremely important role in the Port Wine business, since it allowed transport by train. In this venue, one can take a guided tour through the collection of artist J. Oliveira, from 1937, including 24 magnificent panels of traditional Portuguese tiles portraying the landscapes and customs of the winegrowing region. The Pinhão Railway Station Wine Shop has a wide selection of wines, with the option of wine tastings combined with regional products.

Inaugurado em Setembro de 2023, o Douro Bites, na Estação do Pinhão, apresenta sugestões gastronómicas leves e descontraídas, onde os “bites” são protagonistas. Com um conceito muito complementar à oferta que existe atualmente na região, é um espaço muito confortável, com uma carta leve e diversificada, num local fascinante pela sua história e beleza. A carta do Douro Bites começa por propor gaspacho de tomate, afinal, o tomate coração de boi ali é rei, e segue com sugestões de alheira de laranja, tapa de sardinha ou arroz de pato. Para sobremesa há mousse de chocolate e gelado! Na carta de vinhos, encontramos uma seleção de vinhos do Douro e do Porto, com destaque para Casa Ferreirinha e Porto Ferreira, duas referências históricas no portefólio da Sogrape. Situado no piso superior da Estação do Pinhão, o Douro Bites leva assim um pouco da gastronomia da região para este local emblemático duriense, num conceito diferente, mais leve e descontraído. A Sogrape complementa, assim, a sua oferta nesta estação de paragem obrigatória, onde tem já uma wine shop que dispõe de uma variada oferta de vinhos com opções de provas harmonizadas com produtos locais.

Opened in September 2023, Douro Bites, at Pinhão Railway Station, o ers light and relaxed gastronomic suggestions, where “bites” are the highlight. With a concept that is very complementary to what currently exists in the region, it is a very comfortable space, with a light and diverse menu, in a place that is fascinating for its history and beauty. Douro Bites menu begins by o ering tomato gazpacho, after all, in the Douro Valley tomato is king, and continues with suggestions of orange “alheira”, sardine tapa or duck rice. For dessert there is chocolate mousse and ice cream! On the wine list, we find a selection of wines from the Douro and Porto, with emphasis on Casa Ferreirinha and Porto Ferreira, two historical references in Sogrape's portfolio.

Located on the top floor of Pinhão Railway Station, Douro Bites brings a little of the region's gastronomy to this emblematic Douro location, in a di erent, lighter and more relaxed concept. Sogrape thus complements its o er at this mandatory stop railway station, where it already has a wine shop with a varied range of wines with tasting options paired with local products.
