I am happy to now present to you, dear reader, self-curated images from the January 18th to the 23rd for this Special issue of “SEEing StrEEts: As Zine - Dinagyang 2023”.
A chapter is one day respectively of my six-day trip. The content of each is presented in the usual diptychs with one set as a three-image sequence. This year, I am experimenting on various SPontaneous photographic techniques, deviating from my usual style.
Each SPread was edited, paired, and sequenced to allow the viewer to linger and appreciate the details.
Except for pages 36, 38 and 39, I used a mirrorless camera with an attached 35mm (50mm full frame equivalent) f 1.2 - 16 manual lens with a small strobe for three images.
I hope you enjoy the expressions of my experiences the Iloilo streets and its SPaces gave and moved me.
