For the first time after 3 years, the Camera Club of Davao physically celebrated their most awaited event of the year, the charter night. And the timing couldn't be better because this year is THE 40th anniversary of CCD's founding!
After a prayer led by Fr Banny Pardillo and a delicious Chinese dinner, the Club through guest of honor Officer-in-charge of the Davao City Tourism Operations Office’s Jennifer Romero, swore them in. The new set of officers is led by its President Arfe Gavilanes, succeeding six straight terms past president William "Biboy" Pedraza. (Congrats to both of you!)
Michael W. Li was recognized for his 25 years of active membership as well as winning 1st Place in the club's monthly Photo Contest with his street photography (silhouette) work with the caption "Tatay's Playground."
Cherished Charter Members were present and represented from Dr. Warlito Vicente, Tay Norman Jadulang, Tay Chiaw Yap, Uncle Arnel Villegas, and representing the Late Tay Rene is his son Skippy Lumawag.
