Feb. 1, 2026, marks the Pricketts' 10th year as owners of Paradise Station. The site, originally the Red Caboose Motel and Restaurant, was founded by Donald M. Denlinger in 1970 and has continued to remain a one-ofa-kind attraction in the heart of Amish Country. Visitors since 1989, the Prickett family was so impacted by the business that Todd Prickett, son Tyler, and wives Debbie and Kat purchased it on Feb. 1, 2016.
Under their 10-year stewardship, the property has grown significantly, comprising 38 cabooses, a mail car, a baggage car, historic farmhouse suites, luxurious Conductor’s Quarters and Casey Jones' Restaurant, featuring scratch-made Pennsylvania Dutch and barbecue cuisine served in two train cars. In June of 2023, the family opened a fully restored and technologically enhanced wedding and event venue called The Barn at Paradise Station.
In October 2025, Todd hopped a train to heaven, leaving husbandand-wife team Tyler and Kat at the throttle. Tyler and Kat are excited to usher Paradise Station into a new season of growth and prosperity.
