Church Yard Sale Will Benefit Special Needs Ministry Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church will hold its fifth annual outdoor yard sale Saturday, Aug. 30, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church parking lot , 1199 Valley Road, Quarryville. The rain date will be Saturday, Sept. 13. Spaces that are 10 feet by 10 feet are available for rent. Vendors should bring their own tables. Pre-registration is appreciated, but vendors may register on the morning of the event. For more information or to reserve a space call the church at 717-786-3402 or Dan Henry at 717-381-9947. Henry said there is expected to be more than 100 tables with items such as household goods, tools, games, puzzles, clothes, and toys. “We do get quite a variety of items,” Henry said. “Because we have so many different items here, there’s pretty much something for everyone who’s interested in yard sales. It is a huge, huge yard sale, and then we also have good food.” Breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs, baked goods, and beverages will be sold. All the proceeds from the event will benefit Joyfully Made Fellowship, a ministry for people with special needs. “We got involved with Joyfully Made partially because their students come to our vacation Bible school every summer,” Henry said. “That’s a real blessing to us.
