Although the Willow Street Fire Company is one of many fire departments that have evolved to better serve modern society, its core mission

has stayed the same - even after 100 years. The Willow Street Fire Company, 2901 N. Willow Street Pike, will commemorate 100 years of service with an open house and community celebration from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 15. United Disabilities Services (UDS), 2270 Erin Court, Lancaster, will host an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 13. The event will offer members of the public an opportunity to learn about the organization’s service dog program and the many ways it benefits local schools and individuals throughout the community. “We’re trying to reach out to as many people as we can.
