uzie Papavasilion, a member of Scout Troop 88, chose to coordinate the repair of the Millersville VFW’s banquet hall for her Eagle Scout project. In the first stage of her project, Suzie recruited fellow Scouts and scheduled dates to work on the banquet hall. She also worked with the VFW to recruit volunteers, including VFW members, officers, and staff, as well as members of the Vagabonds Rod & Custom Club. The second stage of the project involved preparation for painting the banquet hall, which included washing walls, taking down TVs, and removing speakers. The final stage of the renovation was the painting of the walls. The main renovation day was March 28, and Suzie oversaw the project, delegating tasks and ensuring everything was done properly and in the right order. Suzie chose the Millersville VFW renovation as her Eagle Scout project because of the VFW’s generosity to Troop 88. She wanted to help the VFW continue its vital work in the community. Suzie noted that the most important part of the project’s success was making sure she got the word out Volunteers helped to repair the Millersville VFW banquet hall. about the project and received help from others.
