As 2023 begins and people make New Year’s resolutions, area nonprofit organizations hope that local residents will resolve to donate their time and talent as a way to make a positive difference in the community. Compeer Chester County, a nonprofit organization that pairs people
living with mental health challenges with volunteer friends from the community, is in need of volunteers. Participants are asked to meet with their friends for four hours each month for at least one year. toy soldier and Santa Claus. “The beautifully decorated twin homes were made to look as one,” McKenna explained. “The judges loved the Nativity scene, and (the home) had the perfect amount of lights and decorations. The couple were thrilled to win, and said that Todd’s family have loved decorating their home for years and were winners years ago. “
“We would really love to work with a local community contractor (on phase two of our remodel project),” said Adam Nagle, director of The Factory Ministries located in the Together Community Center, 3293 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise.
