played baseball for the 2022 season, both pitching and playing outfield. At Harford, he was known for his disciplined approach and high-velocity exit speeds. Because of his experience in high school and college baseball, Karpathios was able to sign as an undrafted free agent in 2022. Today, Karpathios is a rising prospect in the San Diego Padres system after a steady start in rookie ball. He had a significant 2025 season and earned a spot on the Padres’ Top 30 Prospect List. He is ranked as the No. 12 prospect in the system and is the only nondrafted free agent on the list. Currently, Karpathios plays outfield for the San Antonio Missions, the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. Defensively, Karpathios is primarily a right fielder. He is a left-handed hitter.
