or 2025, Terre Hill Days has moved from July to June, with four days of fun, including rides for children, arcade games, fair food, and plenty of musical entertainment

planned from Thursday, June 26, through Sunday, June 29. “We will have a nice assortment of activities and entertainment,” pointed out organizer John Styer. “We will have things for the kids and things for the adults.” Quality entertainment has been

a focus for event organizers for the last several years. Rides, games, and food trucks will open at 5 p.m. on June 26, and the entertainment schedule will kick off at 6 p.m. with the sounds of Cheyenne Pohl with Clockwork Band. “Cheyenne and Clockwork Band are from the

Reading area,” noted Styer. “They will play oldies and current songs, and it will be a fun, high-energy show.” The evening will also include free face painting and a magic show by Mr. Sneakers. On Friday, June 27, the event will open at 5 p.m., and the

magic of Papa Tater will begin at 5:30 p.m. Cathro’s Critters will return to the venue at 6 p.m., and the free Classic Car Cruise, which is held rain or shine each year, will open at 6 p.m. Ironwood Drive will play bluegrass on the main stage beginning at 6 p.m. See Terre Hill Days pg 8

Coming up - Outdoor Concerts BY ANN MEAD ASH

BY ANN MEAD ASH

For many years, the New Holland Community Memorial Park has been the site of multiple weekly outdoor concerts made possible by the New Holland Summer Arts Program (NHSAP). For the summer of 2025, NHSAP has once again lined up nearly 20 events with musical groups ranging from rock’n’roll to Celtic music to cover bands and bluegrass music. Eight new acts will be featured at the venue, located in the 400 block of The New Holland Summer Arts Program committee is preparing to Jackson Street in New Holland. hold the annual craft fair in the park to help support the concerts

The New Holland Community Memorial Park is a center of attention during the warmer months. The park, located in the 400 block of Jackson Street in New Holland, attracts members of the community who use the pool, tennis and pickleball courts, golf course, and playground equipment. According to Ralph Hess, president of the Red Rose Repeater Association (RRR), the amount of foot traffic through the park

on a summer weekend makes it an ideal location for the 92nd Summer Field Day, officially known as Amateur Radio Field Day. “It’s a family day for everybody,” noted Hess, adding that there will be a craft show in the park on the first day of the event. “(Some family members) can go to the craft show,” he pointed out. Summer Field Day is a more than 24-hour event that gives hams - as amateur radio operators are known - a chance to demonstrate radio’s ability to create reliable communications See Red Rose Repeater pg 6
