Quilt Show and Heritage House Day embrace the past BY CATHY MOLITORIS
The rooms of the Winters Heritage House Museum, located at 47 E. High St., Elizabethtown, will be bursting with color and history during the 34th annual Quilt Show and Heritage House

ornerstone Youth Center recently received a grant that will help the organization introduce kids to the great outdoors. A grant from the Matthews Children’s Foundation through Spence Funeral Services will be used to support “Where Are We Wednesdays,” an annual summer program for middle and high school students that will run on Wednesdays from June 12 through July 24. “The program will enable Cornerstone to take our students

A flurry of activity will take place in and around Maytown s q u a re o n M e m o r i a l Day, Monday, May 27, when a ceremony to honor servicemen and servicewomen is held along with a street fair. The events will begin with the 61st annual Antique, Art, Craft and Collectible Show, which will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show will feature a variety of vendors selling antiques and
homemade items. Food, including breakfast, will be available beginning at 8 a.m. At 2 p.m., a program will be held in the square. State Rep. Tom Jones will dedicate e n g rave d b r i c k s h o n o r i n g members of the community who are veterans or have made an impact on community organizations.
