Ballet company will perform at Elizabethtown College

his will be an opportunity for families to take their kids to a fun event, for people to eat good food, listen to live music and learn more about the people at
ExHaLTT,” said Jill Thomasson, describing the Spring Fling Festival Fundraiser. The event will be held on Friday, April 5, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Ironstone Ranch at Stone Gables Estate, 1 Hollinger Lane, Elizabethtown. The event will feature a wide
variety of activities, including field games such as tug of war, sack races, relay races, ring toss and other carnival games and a moon bounce inflatable, Thomasson said. Dancers from ExHaLTT Performing Arts Academy will perform, and social
dance instruction in country line dancing, swing and salsa will be offered. Food trucks, including Café 301, Sweet & Salty Handcrafted Rolled Ice Cream and Mocha Motion Coffee, will provide a variety of dinner options. Live music will
Ballet, storytelling, culture and food will all come together when the Philadelphia Ballet Company entertains at Elizabethtown College. The event will take place on the Elizabethtown College campus in Leff ler Chapel and Performance Center, 1 Alpha Drive, Elizabethtown, on Saturday, April 6, at 2 p.m. “This will be a great opportunity for parents to bring their kids, because the ballet company will be performing children’s stories,” said Jesse Waters, director of community impact at the college. Stories will be told in Spanish as the dancers perform. Along with the ballet, the event will feature four local organizations that will spotlight their missions, Waters said. E-Dance Center, the L atino Hispanic American Community Center, La Voz Latina Central and the Spanish American Civic Association will all have tables with information, he noted. Food trucks, including Fuego Latino and Rita’s Italian Ice, will be on-site as well.
