When Kim Ramirez started Ta Ta Rebels in 2016, she had a mission to help breast cancer survivors post treatment. As the organization enters its 10th year, that mission continues, and you can help to support it by attending the organization’s Spring Meat Bingo. The bingo will be held on Sunday, April 12, at the Middletown Moose Lodge 410, 100 Mill St., Middletown. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m., and bingo will begin at 1 p.m. “This is also our kickoff to our 10-year Survivors Raise Hope celebrations,” Ramirez said. “There will be 20 games included in the ticket price. There will be two special games for an additional cost - a 50/50 game and a blackout game.” Prizes will include a variety of meat bundles and gift cards. “We are very fortunate to have the Galeton Moose sponsor the bingo, and the Middletown Moose donated the facility,” Ramirez commented. “This has given us the opportunity to upgrade the meat bundles and add gift cards. The meat is provided by Andy’s Market in Columbia. We will have beef and pork roasts, New York strips, sirloin steak, London broil with sirloin tips, chipped beef, boneless breast and pork chops, ham slices, hamburger and patties, Hippey’s hot dogs and gift cards.” Along with the prizes, the event will feature a variety of food for sale, including hamburgers, chicken tenders, hot dogs, fries and assorted drinks. No outside food, cooler bags or lunch bags will be permitted.
