For many veterans, navigating the world of benefits and services can feel overwhelming. From health care and counseling to education, employment and burial benefits, the resources available are numerous, but figuring out where to begin can be a challenge. That’s where members of the American Legion Post 185 in Mount Joy hope to make a difference. To help veterans and their families access the benefits they’ve earned, Post 185 will host a Veteran Benefit Information Session on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 47 W. Main St., Mount Joy.
