At Lancaster Mennonite, district titles are part of expectations of excellence BY JEFF FALK

nce is a happening. Twice is a trend. Thrice is a pattern. But four times? Well, we’re just going to leave that one open to interpretation. This winter, the Lancaster Mennonite boys’ basketball program captured its fourth straight District Three Class AA championship. It was the highlight of another splendid season, as well as a continuation of excellence. “ We’re fortunate to get to work with a diverse group of kids,” said Jeffrey Hartenstine, who took over as the Blazers’ head coach this season after five seasons as former head man Seth Buckwalter ’s assistant. “We are so incredibly passionate about making it special for our kids.
