WELCOME FROM RICH BEER, ENGLAND HOCKEY
We are delighted to welcome participating teams to the Under 14 Supra League finals.
We congratulate the Under 14 teams here today who have made it through each the Area stages and then the National Supra Leagues to reach the finals. We hope that they enjoy the experience of playing against their peers from around the country.
Our thanks go to all the team officials who have dedicated a lot of time to the development of each team. We know that their commitment is very much appreciated by the players and parents.
Thanks also go to the umpires, including a heartening number of young officials, and the tournament officials who give their time freely to run the tournaments in a structured and fair manner.
All of you are part of the thousands of people in our sport who continue to help hockey move forwards. This tournament may well be the last event of the season for you and we hope you will get a well-deserved break before plans for next season start to take shape.
Today’s event ends a busy couple of months of domestic hockey finals. After this our focus now turns to the international game and you will see our Pro League matches advertised elsewhere in the programme. It would be great to see young players from this tournament looking to aspire and learn from the England squads and enjoying our excellent international event experience.
The team at Nottingham Hockey Centre has always been at the forefront of developing hockey facilities. Working with their partners to create a venue with five pitches is an amazing achievement and is coupled with excellent onevent support. This allows us to host days such as today, bringing around 250 young people together to play our fantastic sport. We hope it is a memorable day for you all.

ROUTES TO THE FINALS
To reach the national finals, clubs must first progress through one of eight Area Leagues. The top three from each area then advance to one of four National Supra Leagues. From there, the top two clubs in each Supra League qualify for the national finals taking place here this weekend. Below, you’ll find the playing records from the National Supra Leagues.
