Reclaimed Douglas fir from the historic Snoqualmie Sawmill, circa 1900, adds depth, character, and provenance to the walls of the Cowboy Starship. Once the largest sawmill in the world, the Snoqualmie Sawmill produced more than 500 million board feet of lumber annually, leaving a legacy embedded in every board.
The redwood Ceiling Planks were cut from timbers rescued from the Columbia River and Puget Sound. The Structural 12" x 12" fir rafter are cut from huge 500 year old fir timbers from the Pacific Coast. Old growth timbers made from fine-grained ancient trees of the Great Pacific Northwest were used in legendary wooden vessels. Many of these long lost treasures were rescued from the depths of the sea
