Meet the Artists RAYMOND WALSH Raymond is originally from Belfast and trained in Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting. He has worked extensively on stage over the last 10 years but is best known for his portrayal of Grantaire in Les Misérables. He remains one of a handful of actors in the world to have appeared in the original production on the West End, new touring production, West End staged concert, arena tour and concert film. He was also fortunate to play the role of Thénardier over 100 times in London. Raymond created the Shamrock Tenors in 2018 as a platform to celebrate the incredible talent he grew up with back in Northern Ireland and to showcase how far it has come as a country in recent years. He recently produced and co-directed their debut TV special on BBC and PBS, which was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award. This marks Raymond’s North American professional debut. He’s delighted to be sharing it with his little brother and best friends. @raymondwa1sh NATHAN JOHNSTON Nathan Johnston is from Larne, in County Antrim, and his love of all music developed in his family household, where many different musical influences - including traditional Irish and folk music were always present.
For three years, he studied at the prestigious Urdang Academy, where he gained his First Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Theatre. From there, he went on to star in shows on London’s West End and was an original cast member in the role of Jacob with Babies - The Musical, The Other Palace London. Performing on stages from the age of three, Nathan was also a quarter finalist on the first series of ITV’s “The Voice Kids” UK (2017). Nathan has a passion for Irish trad and folk music and his Ulster-Scots heritage and loves nothing more than performing with The Shamrock Tenors. He joined the main line up of The Shamrock Tenors in June 2025 and recently toured and performed in over 30 venues on the group’s debut Australian Tour (September/October 2025), including an incredible show in the Main Hall of the celebrated Sydney Opera House on October 8, 2025. Nathan will also star with The Shamrock Tenors as they participate in On Stage Tonight, presented by the Grand Opera House, Belfast (November 14, 2025) and in their sold out Belfast concerts at The Waterfront Hall in Belfast (December 4th and 5th 2025). He will also perform with the group at Il Rossetti Opera House in Trieste, Italy (April 2026) in a very special literary/musical show honouring the Irish novelist, James Joyce. A nationwide UK Tour is also in the works. As an accomplished songwriter, Nathan has worked on some original Shamrock Tenors material, including writing their upcoming single, Christmas in Belfast, which will be part of their upcoming musical residency series of shows at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, which will run November 25-30, 2025. Nathan is also the younger brother of fellow vocalist and performer with The Shamrock Tenors, Jimmy Johnston!
JACK WALSH Jack earned his BFA in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy’s Los Angeles campus, graduating in 2014. Whilst in LA, he worked for Oscar-nominated composer, John Debney, as he composed the scores for Paramount Pictures’ The SpongeBob Movie and Disney’s The Jungle Book. Jack also spent several years filming for and touring with major YouTube channels Game Grumps and Jacksepticeye. Jack helped to create and continues to produce the Shamrock Tenors with his big brother, Raymond, at the helm. For his work on their television special, Jack received a 2024 Royal Television Society nomination and in the same year, made his West End debut when the group sold out London’s Adelphi Theatre. This marks Jack’s US National Tour debut as a performer. @jackwa1sh JIMMY JOHNSTON Jamie Murray Johnston (Jimmy) grew up in Larne, on Northern Ireland’s worldrenowned Antrim coast. Music has always been Jimmy’s passion from a very young age, as well as history. Little did he think that his career and travels with the Shamrock Tenors would involve both. He originally trained in classical singing, but his real loves are country and Irish music. Along the way, he began Irish dancing with his sister and went on to become a champion Irish dancer.
Jimmy has performed all over the world singing and dancing for audiences proudly representing his country. He is highly fascinated with all things Irish – specifically Ulster’s history and the Scotch-Irish diaspora. The place and its people have shaped not only his musical tastes but almost every facet of his life. He relishes every opportunity to talk of home with people from all corners of the world. A talented songwriter, Jimmy is responsible for writing the original Shamrock Tenors songs that you hear in the show this evening. He would like to dedicate his performance this evening to his wife Caity and young daughter Blair. MATTHEW CAMPBELL Matthew studied Music at Queen’s University Belfast and his masters focused on Musical Theatre in Northern Ireland. Since 2018, he has toured and performed extensively with the Shamrock Tenors as singer, arranger, musical director and multi-instrumentalist. In early 2024 he played the role of ‘Maestro’ in the hit musical, The Choir of Man, as part of their residency at the Arts Centre Melbourne, Australia, along with fellow castmate Tom. Matthew has worked with many other respected performers in the Irish music circuit and is also a much sought-after Musical Director and Vocal Coach throughout Ireland. An avid audio engineer, Matthew was recently nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for Best Post Production for the band’s TV special. @m_atthewc 7
Meet the Artists WALSH ENTERTAINMENT (Producer) Walsh Entertainment was started in 2018 by brothers Raymond and Jack Walsh. Originally created to produce the Shamrock Tenors, they have gone on to produce television shows for BBC and PBS, as well as hit shows on eight of the major cruise lines around the world. In 2024 the company was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for the Shamrock Tenors St Patrick’s Night Special. 2024 saw the company produce a sold out Shamrock Tenors Irish tour, a sold out run in London’s West End at the Adelphi Theatre and a performance to over 20,000 people in Trafalgar Square. This marks the company’s debut US Tour as co-producers and is extremely grateful to Michael Londra for all his guidance and expertise. MICHAEL LONDRA (US Producer) Michael is host and producer of the popular PBS show “Ireland with Michael” currently in Season 5. He is a lead producer on Get Happy, a new musical coming to Broadway in 2025. As a performer, he was the lead singer of Riverdance on Broadway. Two of his recordings featured on the Universal Records project, Arias Ancora, along with Andrea Bocelli and Placido Domingo. He tours nationally with Ireland with Michael Live. His vacation company brings multiple tours to Ireland, annually. www.irelandwithmichael.com SPRINGVALE STUDIOS (Musical Arrangements) Springvale Studios is an Irish independent musical production company run by Matthew Campbell. Matthew has been responsible for all of the arrangements that you hear in tonight’s performance, as well as acting as the Musical Director for the show. An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Matthew was nominated for Best Post Production at the Royal Television Society Awards for the Shamrock Tenors St. Patrick’s Night special. Currently tours with The Gaelic folk and river dance sensation Ireland With Michael. He has mixed a wide variety of musical genres and been a pivotal part of the installation and consultations for upgrades of audio/visual equipment in many venues. He has also spent extensive time producing and operating the technical equipment for corporate conventions and seminars around the Inland Northwest.
