Part-Time Town Treasurer (Permanent)

Our busy accounts department in Bowness provides the financial services and support behind two top Lake District attractions. We’re looking to recruit a new team member with a passion for tourism and who has the following skills: • A keen attention to detail and excellent numeric, verbal and communication skills • A friendly and outgoing personality to help maintain an efficient and accurate accounting function • Flexibility and enthusiasm to work on new projects within our small team. • Knowledge of SAGE accountancy and payroll packages • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or nearing completion

18 hours per week Pay Range £36,153 - £39,961 pro rata (according to experience). Local Government pension scheme.

Applicants should be a Qualified Accountant, possess excellent communication and decision making skills, show flexibility, demonstrate initiative and be able to prioritise workloads. HR Administrator We have a vacancy in the Human Resources Department for a HR Administrator to assist the HR team. This role will have a particular focus on providing a confidential administrative service to the HR team. The role will cover a wide range of duties such as administration of the company pension schemes, administration for internal changes and moves, and organising key HR meetings. This role is based in our main reception and as such, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors to James Cropper plc. Therefore, a high standard of customer service skills is essential in conveying the right image of the company. We need a flexible and energetic individual who is educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent standard and has at least 1 year of relevant experience working in a similar role. You will need a good level of organisational, communication and computer skills. We are looking for a trustworthy, proactive and personable individual, with excellent team working skills: someone who is able to communicate effectively with fellow employees at all levels across the business in support of our exciting organisational development activities.
