An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader within our Checkout Department at our beautiful garden centre in the heart of the Lake District.
Seasonal Retail Assistants 16 hours (Over 4 days), Fixed Term (Approx. 4 months) As the home of creative kitchenware, innovative solutions and 4,000 quality products. To come and work for our fabulous company you will need to: • Be able to deliver an extraordinary customer service experience • Have a genuine interest in food, cooking and the kitchen; together with the enthusiasm to learn quickly • Demonstrate a passion to succeed in selling our products through developing great product knowledge • Have the ability to communicate with customers and the confidence and enthusiasm to explain and demonstrate our product range • Be able to work within a team and also on your own initiative • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills • Have retail environment experience • Be numerate and literate. If you enjoy meeting people come and join us. Naturally our stores are busy, so you’re likely to be on the go all day delivering the best possible experience for our customers and supporting running the store from deliveries, restocking to till and PC procedures. Your working pattern is provided on a rota basis a month in advance. • Our permanent vacancies involve early and late shifts and weekend working. • Our temporary seasonal assistant vacancies are primarily for working between the hours of 11am - 3pm.
The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service with the ability to lead, motivate and train their team, delivering and maintaining first-rate standards of service for our valued customers. Working in a very busy environment, they will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and will have a hands on approach to all duties within this department. If you are passionate about customer service and can lead a team dedicated to customer care, we would love to hear from you. A 40 hour working week will include every other weekend and bank holidays on a rota basis. We can offer free transport to and from work from selected areas.
