PATCH LEADERS
Kendal (part-time) Carnforth (temporary to cover maternity leave) We are looking for a part time Patch Leader for our Kendal branch (20 hours a week) and a temporary Patch Leader for our Carnforth branch to cover maternity leave (40 hours a week). The successful candidates must have at least 3 years care experience and ideally have a minimum of NVQ Level 2. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, or have some team leadership experience as you will oversee a team of up to 10 staff. Duties will include mentoring new staff, dealing with day-today concerns from your team, and providing a vital link in communicating information from the Management Team to the carers and clients and vice versa. You will also be providing care and support to clients alongside your Patch Leader role.
Curatorial Assistant Apprentice
The apprenticeship programme includes full training, and leads to a recognised competency qualification. The Curatorial Assistant apprentice will undertake a range of administration duties, focused on supporting the Curatorial & Learning teams. Lakeland Arts runs Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Blackwell the Arts & Crafts House and the Museum of Lakeland Life and Industry, and is developing the £10m Windermere Steamboat Museum capital project with the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund. We are one of the leading independent museum and gallery trusts in the UK, a dynamic organisation creating opportunities for understanding and enjoyment through the work of artists and the Trust’s collections and buildings. Hours can be flexible but will need to include some early morning/evening work and alternate weekend work. These vacancies exist within the Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside, Grange and Carnforth area’s. A full driving license and access to a reliable car is essential for all posts.

Building Cleaner
£6.44 per hour Monday – Friday, 5.00pm – 7.30pm The Council is seeking to employ a Building Cleaner at South Lakeland House in Kendal, working 12.5 hours per week. The post holder will assist the existing staff providing general cleaning duties to ensure all public and staff areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
COSTING CLERK
This is a new permanent full time position due to our expansion to work in our very busy factory and offices at Elmsfield Park, Holme. Duties include: compiling cost sheets for new and existing products, generate cost estimates, check actual vs theoretical costs, and present data to the management team. You will report to the Finance Manager and have key relationships across the business. Strong numeracy skills, combined with sound computer literacy are essential for this role.
