Home Support Carers (Days)
Permanent Full Time / Part Time Vacancies Kendal, Windermere, Grange and Carnforth Established over 20 years ago, Cumbria View Care Services provide quality care and support to clients within their own homes, enabling our clients to remain as independent for as long as possible. These services are available to our clients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are looking for reliable, caring and friendly people who want to make a difference to our clients’ lives. Experience is not essential as full training and support is provided. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential as travelling between client’s homes is a key component of the role. We also provide a uniform, mobile phone, holiday pay and business mileage. Full and part time hours are available but you will need to work some evenings (no later than 11pm), early mornings (starting at 7am) and alternate weekends. Full Time and Part Time vacancies exist within our four locations; Carnforth, Grange, Kendal and Windermere - hours can be flexible but must meet the needs of the business.

These shops will represent the Rheged range and character and we need friendly, professional people to uphold our reputation and values in these exciting but remote locations. Working within the shops you will provide excellent levels of customer service and assist the visitor centre team in providing information on activities available in the forests. Therefore an active interest in outdoor and forest activities would be an advantage. Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role, though full training will be provided. Due to the location of these sites it is essential that you have your own transport.
