We are looking to recruit a Hostel Support Officer to provide high quality support and service to the individuals and families at Town View Fields Hostel in Kendal. The working hours will be on a rota basis and will include day, evening, weekend, Bank Holiday working and sleeping-in duties overnight.

Person specification The successful candidate will have a keen attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, work well as part of a team to achieve objectives and possess good overall IT skills. Previous experience of working in an accounts department, AAT qualified and looking to study CIMA or ACCA would be an advantage. Knowledge of Sage accountancy and payroll packages is also desired.
