Emilio Sánchez Academy (ES Academy) opened its doors 27 years ago in Barcelona, Spain, with the purpose of providing tennis players with a custom-designed academic curriculum, combined with advanced tennis and athletic performance training, to prepare them for maximum success on and off the court.
Today, our unique High Performance Academy has grown alongside our Scholars with 2 locations worldwide: Europe and United States of America.
Our world-renowned schools and training academies in Barcelona (Spain) and Naples (FL, USA) inspire and enable players of all ages and ability levels to reach their full athletic potential.

Our Summer Camp is designed for players from around the world between 8 to 23 years of age. The Emilio Sánchez System allows all levels of players to enjoy a high performance training, regardless of whether they are aiming for a basic or advanced level.

High performance tennis
The Emilio Sánchez 360 Tennis System© is unique in the world. Designed by Emilio Sánchez Vicario, it is based on four core pillars: technical, tactical, physical and mental.
Each of these four pillars is developed intensively, and each one is tailored to the player’s stage, which depends on age, physical condition and tennis level. The stages are reflected in the Emilio Sánchez Development Pyramid©, and ranges from the initiation stage to the elite stage.
In the area of sports science, the program includes all services on site that the player may need, such as physical training, nutrition, sports psychology, and physiotherapy.
Language program
Students can choose their preferred foreign language: Spanish or English or French (academies in Barcelona and Naples, FL). These classes are offered by native teachers at ES American School, a private American school located on campus, and which is fully accredited by official bodies both the US and Spain.
Language classes are offered from elementary to advance levels. Class groups are organized by level and age.
Leisure activities
Various activities are organized during the weeks to allow for relaxation and full enjoyment of your stay at Emilio Sánchez Academy.
External activities are organized every week, so that you can discover the local environment, the beaches, and the city of Barcelona.

Boarding or non boarding
Accommodation is adapted to the needs of each player. Players 10 years and older can choose to live on-campus, either in the residence (for girls), or the bungalows (for boys). Our team of supervisors take care of the players 24 hours a day and are responsible for the safety and welfare of students living in the Academy.

Students have the opportunity to train and learn in one of the most prestigious academies in the world. Emilio Sánchez Academy provides the best services and our sport facilities includes: tennis courts, paddle, basketball, swimming pool, gym, physiotherapy center, and much more.
International atmosphere
The Summer Camp at Emilio Sánchez Academy is a great personal experience and a unique opportunity to interact with students from all over the world. Each year, players from more than 50 different nationalities live together the ES Academy Summer Camp experience.
Tranquility and safety
We offer a safe, secure, and peaceful setting. For the protection of our tennis players, we have a security system with a 24 hours surveillance. Supervisors living on campus are responsible for the safety and welfare of the students.
A team of supervisors caring for our students
During the Camp we have a team of supervisors who takes care of the students, as well as a head supervisor for each accommodation area. They are responsible for the safety and welfare of students living in the Academy.
U12* & 13+ SUMMER CAMP
The perfect summer camp program designed for different age categories: U12* and 13+ years old, including all the care and supervision your kid needs: 1 tennis-coach per 4 players, 24/7 surveillance, assistance checked before each activity.
Tournaments*
For stays longer than one week, players have the opportunity to participate in local tournaments, as well as national, or even international events, that are being held during their stay.
Healthy nutrition
Adequate nutrition is a key factor in player’s training regiment because if directly influences the performance and development of each athlete. All meals are prepared in house in order to provide a balanced nutrition plan necessary for the health and maximum performance of our student-athletes.
Renowed coaches
At Emilio Sánchez Academy we know that in order to help develop High Performance athletes you need High Performance Coaches. Therefore, our coaches are certified by both the RPT (Registro Profesional de Tenis) and the USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association). We guarantee you will enjoy the highest standard of training with a ratio of only 2 players per court.

Other services
TRANSPORTATION
FROM/TO THE AIRPORT
Airport transportation is included with the boarding program UM service is available on demand. Ask us for the official timetables. In the Naples Academy (Florida) the transport and UM services are available but not included in the summer program fee. They will need to be scheduled with the admissions department.
Unaccompanied Minors
For those who have contracted a “UM” (Unaccompanied Minor) services with their airline, the academy provides the support of a staff member to accompany the student, at all times, until he/she is picked up by the airline company and taken to the gate. This service has an extra-charge. Ask for this service at the Reception or at the Admissions Department.

Banking service
At the Academy, each student has a virtual account to facilitate parents and tutors to deposit money. Transactions can either be cash, bank transfer, or credit card (credit card charges have a surcharge of 3%). No other deposit method is allowed. The students may withdraw money from Monday to Friday from 11am to 4pm through the Reception.
Laundry
Laundry Service is available to those residents staying on campus for more than one week. Ask for this service at the Reception or at the Admissions Department.
Pro-shop
In our official HEAD pro shop, you can buy everything you need for playing tennis and receive specialized stringing services. Also, in the pro-shop our players can seek for a professional advice.

The Emilio Sánchez Summer Camp is designed for players from around the world from 13 to 23 years of age. The Emilio Sánchez 360 Tennis System® allows all levels of players to enjoy the high performance training. Basic, intermediate and/ or advanced level players will all thrive within the Emilio Sánchez training environment.
Enjoy the best parts of Barcelona (Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, Paseo de Gracia, Port Aventura, F. C. Barcelona stadium, Sitges, Costa Brava beaches and more) and get familiar with the Spanish culture. Apart from the Spanish classes ES Academy also offers English and French courses to the players of the Summer Program who are already fluent in Spanish.

u12 Summer Camp
The ideal tennis program for players under 12 years old
from June 1 to September 30
Our U12 Summer Camp is designed for students from around the world from 8 to 12 years of age. Our program allows young tennis players to enjoy the summer while combining high performance tennis training with language studies and fun leisure and entertainment activities. All of this, with the care and monitoring that a child under 12 years of age needs.
The U12 Summer Camp adapts the prestigious Emilio Sánchez 360 Tennis System© to the specific characteristics and needs of the younger players in all of pillars: Besides 3 hours of daily tennis training players under 12 receive 4 hours /week of 360 Young Sessions, a special approach to the 4 pillars of the Emilio Sánchez 360 Tennis System© (technical, tactical, physical and mental) for players U12.
Learning and training through games to enjoy the tennis and learn sports values, without losing the rigor to achieve the improvement of the technique and advance in the tactical aspects of the game.
Players distributed in exclusive groups of children under 12, who do not mix in the daily work with groups of older players

Customize your program
Push Program PreTournament Camp
Players can boost their tennis level even further with the Push Program.
The Push Program can be integrated within the Summer Camp Program and includes one hour a day, Monday through Thursday, of private tennis training. This allows student-athletes to work intensively on the technical and tactical side of the game.
Two hours per week of physical training are provided in a group of maximum 4 players.
One session of Mental Training is offered in a separate group of 1 to 4 players.
Come to Emilio Sánchez Academy the week before any ITF / Tennis Europe tournament held at our Academy and we will help you achieve your best game.

ES Academy’s beautiful campus is situated just 20 minutes from downtown Barcelona and 5 minutes from the airport but it surprises all the visitors by the sense of tranquility that is inspired by the natural setting of our surroundings.

Accommodation is adapted to the needs of each player. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as the weekly excursions/activities are included in the boarding programs.

The residence building offers a double or 4-bed-rooms equipped with air conditioning and heating, telephone, free satellite TV connection, and free WiFi.
Bungalow (exclusive for boys)
In the bungalows area we offer fully equipped double and quadruple rooms with bathroom, air conditioning, heating, free satellite TV connection, and free WiFi.
Health care
The Summer camp registration includes premium health insurance from Mapfre. This policy includes coverage for illness, as well as for injuries. Also, our Physiotherapy Department is available to the players if they need it.
Apartments
Intended for parents accompanying players enrolled in a sports program, the Emilio Sánchez Academy has six magnificent apartments on campus, all on the second floor of the bungalow area. This idyllic location overlooks the swimming pool and academy grounds. Each apartment has two bedrooms, a lounge with TV, a fridge and a bathroom with shower.
These apartments have their own separated entryway providing exclusive access to the apartment area via an electronic card. Apartment users have the possibility to request breakfast, half board or full board in our restaurant.
The best summer leisure activities
Various activities are organized during the weeks to allow for relaxation and full enjoyment of your stay at Emilio Sánchez Academy.
External activities are organized every Saturday afternoon, so that you can discover the local environment, the beaches, and the city of Barcelona (Sagrada Familia, Gothic quarter, Park Guell, among others). One of the favourite excursions is the guided tour of the Camp Nou facilities in FC Barcelona.
Weekend excursions: For those who stay for more than one week, the weekend excursions include visits to local tourist attractions, emblematic amusement parks such as Port Aventura (Tarragona), Water World aquatic park (Lloret de mar), and shopping trips.
Activities will also be held inside the premises to provide a safe and fun environment. If possible there will be activities outside the premises once the pandemic is controlled.

A supervisor will accompany the campers to their rooms and, once settled, they may contact their parents to inform of their safe arrival.
Departure
Sunday is the day of departure for campers living on-campus. Room check-out is at 9:00h but student may stay in the Academy installations until their departure time.
The last day for campers who do not live within the Academy installations is Saturday and will end at approximately 12pm. Every Sunday at 5pm.: Tennis level test for all new students

The ES Academy Summer Camp is designed for players from around the world. The Emilio Sánchez 360 Performance System ® allows all levels of players to enjoy the high performance training. Basic, intermediate and/or advanced level players will all thrive within the ES Academy training environment.
Enjoy the best parts of Naples (Naples beach, the Naples pier, fifth avenue, Miromar outlets, the Everglades, Naples zoo and more) and get familiar with the American culture. The ES Academy offers a game-based language lesson program where campers can choose between Spanish or English lessons, engaging in interactive activities to enhance their language skills and bond with friends.

Substitution of an hour of group tennis session for an hour of private 1 to 1 with a designed coach. Limited spots available (*) Depending on the pandemic, activities will be inside the premises with the students keeping a safe environment or outside with the necessary precautions.

ES Academy’s beautiful campus is situated close to all the major attractions in Naples, Florida. With 38 tennis courts, a Tennis Club with a restaurant and cafeteria, its own School, several accommodation options, an Olympic pool and hot tub, and a great Performance Training Center, ES Academy student-athletes have everything they need located directly on campus.

The best summer leisure activities
Throughout the weeks of Summer Camp we offer a wide variety of activities to allow for relaxation and full enjoyment of your stay at Emilio Sánchez Academy. Plans include local water parks, shopping days, Friday pool parties, soccer and cooking contests among others. One of our favorite field trips is a guided tour to the Everglades National Park. In addition,
there are weekend excursions to discover the local environment, beaches and the beautiful city of Naples. Activities take place both on and off campus.

Accommodation
Accommodation is adapted to the needs of each player. Breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as the weekly activities are included in the boarding programs.
Students may reside on campus at Emilio Sánchez Academy. Separate apartments are provided for boys and girls and for all age groups. Supervisory staff lives with students. Each apartment has at least two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, study area, AC, TV and Wi-Fi. They all have separate entrances providing exclusive access to each apartment.

Arrival day for boarding players: Sunday, 1:00pm. to 5:00pm. – Check-in at ES Academy Clubhouse
Arrival for non-boarding should be around 6:50 am. – Check-in at front-desk
4 hours of tennis daily
2 hours of physical training daily
1 hour one day a week of group mental session
1 hour and 30 min of game-based language lessons 3 days a week (English or Spanish)
Tournaments upon schedule (for stays longer than a week)
1 hour daily recreational activity on campus
