2023 River & Yacht Cruises Guest Luggage & Travel Documentation FAQs What are the key changes? Beginning from March 2023 onwards, guests with a river or ocean cruise booking for the current operating season will: • receive an on board credit 50pp instead of luggage and travel accessories*; and • receive electronic rather than printed travel documentation, with all travel documentation becoming electronic in the next few months *Effective dates for the changes vary by product. On board credit is only valid for the current operating season during the below dates: • Europe River Cruising – March – December 2023 • Asia River Cruising – June 2023 – May 2024 • Yacht Cruises – 28 March 2023 – March 2024 (Emerald Azzurra up to include E02J300324.1. Emerald Sakara up to include E05J300324.1)
Why is Emerald Cruises introducing these changes? Over recent years we have made significant changes to reduce our environmental impact, including the elimination of guest single-use plastics on board our ships, the introduction of reusable water bottles and a shift to emailing guest travel documentation. These changes are a continuation of that commitment to leaving as small a footprint as possible for future travel generations as part of global Emerald Cruises Cherish the Plant.
