In Focus

“Relationship Goals” (Prime Video — Feb. 4, Movie Premiere)

When brilliant TV producer Leah Caldwell (Kelly Rowland) is about to make history as the first woman to run New York’s top morning show, her ex, Jarrett Roy (Clifford “Method Man” Smith), swoops in to compete for the same position. He claims he’s a changed man, transformed by the wisdom of the New York Times bestselling book ‘Relationship Goals.’ As her tight-knit circle of friends dive into the same life-changing book, they all begin to rediscover their aim in love. Yet Leah, laser-focused on breaking through the glass ceiling, isn’t ready to believe in finding love.

“The Lincoln Lawyer” - Season 4 (Netflix — Feb. 5, Season Premiere) Based on the series of bestselling novels by author Michael Connelly, this new season is based on the sixth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series, “The Law of Innocence.” Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) faces his toughest case yet as he and his team work tirelessly to prove his innocence in the murder of a former client, Sam Scales (Christopher Thornton). To clear his name, they must unravel Sam’s final scam, forcing them to go head-to-head with the DA’s office, the FBI and ghosts from Mickey’s own past. Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole and Angus Sampson also star.

Linda (Rose Byrne) is a mother in crisis attempting to care for her ill child, deal with her absentee husband, and get a hole in her ceiling fixed (forcing her and her daughter into a motel), all while suffering a very hostile relationship with her therapist. From director Mary Bronstein, 2025’s “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You” airs on HBO this Saturday, Jan. 31, with an official trailer found at youtube.com/watch?v=ywFDoT7LBbQ

The mission is to repair friendships, but the ladies have arrived in Miramar, Florida, missing a key member of the group. The sunshine isn’t curing all ills, however, as the rift between Dr. Heavenly and Dr. Simone seems solid. Angel, Brandi and Toya search for an exit in the next episode of “Married to Medicine,” airing Sunday, Jan. 25, on Bravo. Few things say “love” more than putting your family members’ lives at risk in hopes of claiming a $250,000 prize. Eleven contestants are left in the wilds of Canada to fend for themselves, as family members watch via livestream and negotiate for essential supplies, in the Season 2 premiere of “Extracted,” making its debut on Fox this Monday, Jan. 26. ‘The First Wives Club’ is back in session

Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton and Bette Midler make an irrepressible and irresistible trio in “The First Wives Club,” the 1996 comedy that Flix shows on Monday, Jan. 26, and Friday, Jan. 30. In the adaptation of Olivia Goldsmith’s best seller, the actresses play divorcees who all were abandoned by their ex-husbands for younger women. Brought back together at the funeral of a mutual college friend, they’re prompted to get even with their former spouses. While the three stars are always front-and-center under the direction of Hugh Wilson (“Police Academy,” 1984), the film is loaded with other familiar faces in roles of various durations. Among them are Maggie Smith, Sarah Jessica Parker, Stockard Channing, Victor Garber, Marcia Gay Harden, Bronson Pinchot, Eileen Heckart and Rob Reiner. Many famous New York locations get their screen moments here, too, since the picture was made all around the city. The musically inclined closing scene puts a perfect coda on the spirit that the movie is intended to have.

“Charlie’s Angels” (MeTV, Sundays): One of the most popular series of its time (1976-81) is now part of a weekly Sunday block of shows produced by the mega-successful Aaron Spelling. Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett-Majors (as she was then billed) and Jaclyn Smith were the first trio to play private detectives in the employee of the unseen Charles Townsend (voice by John Forsythe), with David Doyle as Bosley, the intermediary who helped the attractive sleuths with their assignments.
