While some may mumble and swear under their breaths about the snow and return of winter, there are plenty who wait and chomp at the bit for the first chance to slide on frozen, ﬂuffy white stuff. This Friday, Dec. 15, at 9:30 a.m., the lifts at HoliMont will start to turn for their 56th winter season. The crew at the ‘Mont has been busy getting ready for startup of what looks to be a super snowy December. HoliMont is poised to assist mother nature with 100 percent snowmaking on 52 trails. There was no one in attendance to comment on the matter, but there were two correspondences from members of the public. One letter expressed support for the ATM and the other,

You could see the experience gap five minutes into Saturday’s championship final of the 85th Salamanca Tip-Off Tournament. The host Warriors brought back one starter and two others from last year’s team after a nineplayer senior class. This was an application for a Special Use Permit for an accessory use of a walk-up ATM. It will have the footprint of an ATM Kiosk. Last month, there

were concerns regarding setbacks and if the parking space the ATM was occupying was a required space. The VPB requested a survey and original site plan from the applicant which was not received. The Code Enforcement Officer was able to locate the original site plan and the parking space was deemed unrequired.

December 2018 meeting. The new Joint Town and Village (T/V) Engineer Nile Pearson joined in on the conversation via telephone, so he can start to acclimate himself to the current matters the VB is

Financial Report; there was a second and the VB accepted. In the Mayor’s report, there was discussion on the Intermunicipal Agreement for Shared Services of the Town/Village Engineer. There was a motion made to have the Mayor sign this document; a second and the motion was accepted. Next there was discussion on proposed 2017-2018 budget modifications. There would be the following changes: additions to liability insurance, attorney fees, insurance for the new plow truck, engineering for the sludge removal project and last, for the emergency purchase of the Village truck. These modifications total over $50,000. There were concerns that not enough time to review these proposed modifications was provided by the Mayor. There was a motion to table the modifications; there was a second and it was tabled. The Mayor advised on a meeting with Matt McAndrew and Mark Burr regarding the eventual driveways approaches on Fillmore and their drainage concerns. The county is working free of charge for the Village on all the surveying required to properly address the issue.

The following reports were accepted via individual motions: Planning, Engineering, Sewer and Code Enforcement. Mark Chudy of the Department of Public Works (DPW) was there to discuss the candidates for the two open DPW positions. There was initially a total of five applicants and it has been narrowed to Joe Folts and Brian Clark. The VB made a motion to hire the two candidates Chudy selected; there was a second and approved. The VB also made a motion to accept the DPW Report; there was a second and it was approved. Sidewalks on Elizabeth Street and Route 242 E have been replaced from work done by the County on water lines. Village Clerk Mary Klahn advised of the 1,900 water meters to be replaced or installed, only 44 are left to have appointments made. Lastly, Robby Wilkens has resigned from the Village Zoning Board. There was discussion on replacement candidates and processes, yet no decision was made. The next meeting of the Village Board will be Jan. 8, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Village Hall.

Enjoy Some Music by the Fireside at ASP This month’s featured performance is by the Studio 107 Chamber Players of Olean High School, playing songs of the season. The group, while consisting mainly of students, is often joined by alumni, community members, and teachers. They got their start in 2008 performing at the Olean Community Thanksgiving dinner. Since then, they have performed at

various venues including community events, weddings, private parties, and nursing homes. Each March during “Music in our Schools” Month the students offer a program called “Harmony in the Morning,” performing in the school foyer for a half hour each day before school starts. This program offers the students a chance to show their appreciation to their school community

A survey necessary to determine set backs was not provided by the applicant. Next the VPB made a motion to approve the minutes from the November meeting; there was a second and the VPB approved. After this, the VPB moved on to Old Business. Despite the applicant for PB-201713 ATM withdrawing the application, action still had to be taken as a Public Hearing had been set and conducted. The VPB made a motion to declare this application a Type Two action under the State Environmental Quality Review requiring

no further review; there was a second and the VPB approved. The VPB made a motion to approve the Special Use Permit at 38 Washington; there was a second and then discussion. The VPB denied the motion to approve this Special Use Permit for the following reasons: Set backs were unable to be determined as the requested survey was not provided. The style and design does not meet the standards and criteria of the Architectural Review Process. The internal sign is not consistent with Village Sign Laws and last, it is an unprotected location on Route 219. Next, the VPB made

a motion that the ATM be made non-operational within 48 hours and they have 14 days to remove the ATM kiosk; there was a second and it was approved. Last, the meeting ended with discussion on proposed zoning amendments. The final copy was reviewed and discussed and the VPB made a motion to present the zoning amendments as corrected to the Village Board; there was a second and it was approved. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Village Planning Board will be on Jan.9, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the Village Hall.

Located just four miles from the resort on Route 242 in Ellicottville, the tubing park offers hours of downhill thrills. All the fun of tubing without any of the work, Holiday Valley Tubing Company (which, according to Snow Tubing Source, is the fifth largest of its kind in the country!) has up to 22 lanes, each 900 feet long with a drop of 100 feet. Some lanes are single width, while others are wider group lanes to allow for linking up with friends. Head out of the ticket center, grab a tube and line up. When you get to the front of the line, just sit down in your tube and catch a ride up on one of two handle tows (the dismount from the tow is also pretty cool!) Choose your lane, wait for the attendant to give you the go-ahead, then ready, set, go! Race your friends and other tubers to the bottom and see who gets the farthest on the track. On Monday, the West Valley School Board discussed potential avenues to obtain information from the Ellicottville Central School District so West Valley can proceed with a pre-annexation study. The discussion was spurred after Ellicottville school officials requested financial compensation for its staff to assemble data for the study. Information was requested recently from Ellicottville — as well as the Springville-Griffith Institute School District — for the pre-annexation study being conducted by Castallo & Silky LLC Education Consultants, which West Valley chose in late October. West Valley School Board president Stephen Kowalski said he, along with vice president Kimberly Cizdziel and superintendent Eric Lawton, met Nov. 30 with Ellicottville superintendent Bob Miller and three of its school board members about the study. At its November meeting, Ellicottville School Board members had expressed desire for such a meeting to obtain a better understanding of the study’s purpose. At the Monday meeting, Lawton paraphrased an email he received from Miller, stating information from Ellicottville pertaining to the financial implications of an annexation would be provided if two Ellicottville school employees would be paid to gather the information outside regular school hours. Miller on Tuesday confirmed the email, and stated, “we did, indeed, ask West Valley to pay staff that had to work extra hours to assemble information.” He also noted the request was for a maximum of $350 per

person. “Basically what they said is that they were willing to participate but they felt the time to do it was precious and their people had a lot of work to do just to get through what they are doing,” Lawton said. “If we are willing to pay them to come in on a Saturday and gather the information, they would do that for us.” Kowalski said it’s a “really, really gray area” for the school district to pay Ellicottville directly, but it was suggested Lawton talk to officials at Castallo & Silky and, if the cost is not included in the overall study, it be added as a contract modification. However, both Kowalski and Cizdziel noted what they felt was a lack of interest overall in the study from Ellicottville school officials present at that Nov. 30 meeting. “They were really clear and adamant that they were not interested when we met with them,” Cizdziel said. “I get that, but I was in meetings with them two years ago when they were extremely adamant that they were interested,” added Brad Frank, another West Valley board member. “So I think things can swing both directions.” It was also suggested the district could use the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) to obtain some of the information from Ellicottville, but Lawton said West Valley would not get a lot of information it’s looking for. Lawton also suggested researching ECS’s school website to obtain some of the information. Lawton also expressed his concern over potentially paying Ellicottville to obtain the information for the study after already obtaining the information from Springville. “That’s kind of a slap in the face to Springville in my mind, too, in a way,

because they gathered it all and had it to us in the first meeting,” he told the board. Three members of the public spoke during the public comment period of the meeting including John Zerfas, who also spoke to the Ellicottville School Board at its meeting last Tuesday. On Monday, he expressed frustration to the West Valley School Board over the lack of discussion about the pre-annexation study at public forums. He was elected in November to serve as a councilman on the Ellicottville Town Board but lives in the West Valley School District. Bill Heim, a business owner in the community and member of the Ashford Town Board, spoke up about the impact school taxes have on local businesses. “I’ve talked to every business person here, and to me, common sense tells me this school should have been gone five years ago,” he said. “I don’t know the nuts and bolts of how you are going to do that, but I do know it’s got to go. We can’t support it.” In other business at the meeting, it was announced Frank was resigning from the school board due to military obligations, Kowalski said. A board consensus was reached to leave the seat open until a May election, given the spot was already scheduled to be up for election with his term ending at the conclusion of the school year. The school board also approved the Class of 2018’s senior trip to Clearwater, Fla. following a presentation by three class officers. The class will spend June 16 to 21 on the trip before returning for commencement rehearsal on June 22 and commencement on June 23.

For much of last week Monday, it appeared as though the Hinsdale girls’ basketball team was on the way to its first win and Ellicottville to an 0-3 start. The Bobcats jumped out to a 17-5 first-quarter lead and took a nine-point advantage into the final frame. A big fourth quarter from Ellicottville, however, led to the opposite outcome: The Eagles’ first win and an 0-3 start for Hinsdale. Linnea Jimerson and Evie Cortez both had big nights and Ellicottville outscored Hinsdale 19-5 in the final frame in pulling out a 45-40 non-league triumph. Jimerson totaled 24 points, 10 rebounds and five steals while Cortez posted 17 points, six rebounds and five steals. They combined for 41 of the Eagles’ 45 points,

including 17 over the final eight minutes. “The ball was not going in, and that was affecting our confidence,” Ellicottville coach Chad Bartoszek said. “We made some shots in the fourth and our confidence got going.” The Eagles also created more turnovers in the fourth in turning a 3526 deficit into a 45-40 triumph. Senior center Elliot Bowen scored a game-high 19 points with eight boards while Deric Leiper marked nine points, eight rebounds and three steals; Austin Grinols had nine points and six assists and Noah Stuve eight points on a pair of 3-pointers to round out the starting five. “It’s not just tonight: Griff does everything well every night for us,” Eagles coach Dave McCann said. “He’s a rebounder, he’s a defender, he’s a passer, he’s a scorer. They were face-guarding him tonight early on and he adjusted to it. When he wasn’t scoring he was passing. freshman. “He’s a Warrior. We’re really excited to have him for four years. It’s an exciting thing as a coach. The thing I love most about Isaac is he’s one of the most upset kids in the locker room. He played really well and he should be proud of that but because we lost, he wants to get better. He already wants to get into practice.” The Eagles swiped 11 steals a night after marking 19 in the first round against Clymer, leading to easy baskets and 48 percent field goal shooting (24-for-50). “We’ve been working a lot at some different looks on defense until we find one that works, and I think we found one that works for us pretty well,” McCann said. “We want to try and pressure teams. We want to try and get teams

to turn the ball over, and I think we’re doing a pretty good job of that right now. One of our big points of emphasis has been tips and deﬂections. We want to get our hands on as many passes as we can. “I thought we played really well the first couple nights of the season, and the first couple quarters of basketball (Friday) night against Clymer were probably some of the best basketball I’ve seen these guys play in years. I was just really proud of the way we started tonight.” The Warriors (1-1) play Ellicottville again in the IAABO Tournament later this month. Even in a 25-point loss, Bennett said he’s glad to see this level of opponent in early in nonleague play. “We don’t want to be

playing our best ball on Dec. 2,” Bennett said. “We’ve got a long way to go and make progress, but they’re playing really well. This is an extension of their program for year after year after year. We had nine guys graduate last year, so it’s just trying to acclimate new guys to the varsity level and understand that I’ll take these games over anything else all day because at the end of the day you can learn a lot more from this. The more big games they play, the more comfortable they’ll become. “I don’t care that they’re Class D or whatever,” he added of Ellicottville. “That’s a team that can compete in any class and they’re one of the best teams in the region. Symmetry

Symmetry, in everyday language, refers to a sense of harmonious and beautiful proportion and balance. More than likely, you were taught about symmetry in an elementary school math class and have not thought about it much since then. But, you should, and especially when it comes to your body and your fitness routine, because an asymmetrical body could be the culprit behind a nagging injury or the reason you are still struggling to meet your fitness goals. Unsurprisingly, pain is the biggest tip-off that there is an imbalance. “Eighty percent of the time when you feel an injury, it’s referred to as pain, which is when it’s felt somewhere other than the actual source,” says New York City based trainer Kira Stokes. “Pay attention to one-sided pain or tightnessthat is a clear indicator.” “Your pelvis is a prime example”, says David

Reavy, a Chicago based orthopedic physical therapist. “The hip and foot are dependant on the pelvis, and the knee depends on the hip and foot.” So if you feel knee pain, the root cause could be a pelvic imbalance, he says. Paying close attention to how you feel during strength training can help you zero in on your problems. The following are just a few moves that can help you evaluate your symmetry, Re-test every six to eight weeks and note any weaknesses so you can address them with a trainer or physical therapist. In-Line Lunge: Start in a narrow lunge, right heel aligned with ball of left foot. Hold a towel vertically down your spine, right elbow pointed toward the ceiling and left hand at lower back. Lower into a lunge, keeping towel straight. PAY ATTENTION TO: Front knee, if it’s moving away or toward midline, it could mean an imbalance

in your hips and glutes. Deep Overhead Squat: Start with feet slightly more than shoulder-width apart. Hold a towel overhead stretched between extended arms. Sit into a deep squat keeping towelaligned overhead. PAY ATTENTION TO: Knees and heels. If the knees cave in, that indicates a hip weakness. If the heels come off the ground that means calves may be tight, limiting ankle mobility. Triceps push-ups: Start at the top of a push-up position, elbows tucked in by tour sides. Perform a push-up keeping elbows tucked and the body in a straight line. PAY ATTENTION TO: Butt and shoulders. If you are “worming” up butt first, that could signal a weak core. If your shoulder blades are moving in sync, there may be an imbalance in postural muscles. Imbalances unravel in unique ways. It’s all about getting to know your body, and having people whom you trust take an objective, quantifiable look to help you identify where you can improve. Often times isolation exercises can be a key strategy to strengthen these weaknesses (think single-leg squats and single-leg glute bridges), plus exercises that work multiple planes of motion at once to ensure the body is equally challenged. There is no cure all for asymmetry. But, there are strength moves, which you should incorporate into regular workouts, which can still make an asymmetrical athlete stronger and smarter.

Board Dedicates Playground to Late Great Valley Town Supervisor By Kellen M. Quigley

In a unanimous vote Monday night, the Great Valley Town Board dedicated the recently constructed playground in memory of Charles Krause, who passed away in June. Krause served on the Great Valley Town Board and the Cattaraugus County Legislature for many years, but most notably was elected town supervisor several times, serving for 18 years. “We had to do something tonight to finish this job off of building this playground,” said Town Supervisor Dan Brown. Brown said Krause was instrumental in building the town’s youth program. He said the program is well received by everybody, growing larger each year, and one of the things that’s made the program better is the playground built behind the town hall. “It’s allowed that program to improve,” Brown said. “And it’s allowed families who rent this town hall to have another thing they can use for birthday parties or family reunions and things like that.” At the meeting, Krause’s widow, Hildegarde, was presented with the memorial that will be installed at the playground in the spring. She said she is extremely thankful for

the gesture. In other news, Code Enforcement Officer Richard Rinko said the new cell phone tower from Horvath Communications, of South Bend, Ind., is powered up and working. However, several town officials and residents said the service is not as strong as they were told it would be. “Two Don’s loves it,” said Rinko of an auto repair shop on Route 98 located near the tower. “Two Don’s has great service now. I don’t know about anybody else.” Brown said he tried calling someone from near Pumpkinville on Sugartown Road and the person he called said he couldn’t hear a word Brown was saying. “That’s not a town issue,” Brown said. “We knew going in that it wasn’t going to do what Horvath informed everybody that it would.” “It’s not quite as good as some people hoped it would be,” Rinko added. “But it is up and running, so if you have Verizon you can see for yourself how it’s doing.” Also of note, the board set the date of their yearend meeting for Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. for the purpose of approving any bills that come into the town between Monday night’s

meeting and the end of the year. The assessor will be in the superintendent’s office Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. if anyone needs to talk to him, Brown said. Highway Supervisor Jack Harrington said his department has been busy cleaning up the snow. He said the new truck works well, but the sander isn’t quite right so someone will have to look at it. Brown said it’s a good thing the department workers like the truck because another new one will be coming in soon. Rinko said they are working their way through several issues with the Lake Erie Tobacco Company in Kill Buck to get their water supply and sprinkler systems up to date. Chris Schena, chairman of the Planning Board, said the board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 13 included several items for discussion. He said one town resident was looking for a zoning variance, one was looking for a special use permit and the board would look at a few minor subdivisions. The next meeting of the Great Valley Town Board is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. at the town hall.

IDA Seeks to Buy Large Olean Building for Businesses

The Cattaraugus County Industrial Development Agency took steps last week toward the purchase of an Olean-area building that could become home to one to three new companies. The discussion of purchase of the now vacant building was among several developments that left IDA Board of Directors members encouraged. Corey Wiktor, IDA executive director, said the agency is investigating “acquisition of a large industrial building” in the Olean area, which could become home to a few different businesses. Wiktor did not disclose any specifics in open session. “It’s a very significant and large building,” Wiktor said afterward the Dec. 5 meeting. Due to a nondisclosure agreement, the site was not identified. “It’s a good opportunity to put one to three companies in this location rather quickly.” IDA board members

also discussed hiring an international consultant to interest companies in moving to Cattaraugus County and disclosed an upcoming rebranding, website overhaul and social media strategy. The company the IDA is interested in hiring to bring new business to the county was not disclosed in open session. The company would be paid on a performance basis, Wiktor said. “This is something completely new to the IDA and our economic development partners,” he added. “Business attraction is all they do. They are paid for performance by bringing new jobs here.” In a bid to rebrand the IDA, Wiktor said the board agreed to hire iEvolve Technology Services of Buffalo to build a new website and to provide a social media platform for the agency with a Facebook page and a Twitter presence. “It will be aimed not just at businesses, but to ex-

patriots from Cattaraugus County who want to return home. The new website will be rolled out Jan. 1, 2018, Wiktor said. The social media platforms designed to drive people to the new website will begin around the same time. The new website will contain contact information as well as a new section of 20 shovel-ready sites in the county. It will also contain information on housing, schools and quality of life. “It’s something we can do for those who have moved away to try and get them back,” Wiktor said. “It’s something we’ve needed to do,” he said of the rebranding with the new website and other proactive initiatives. The IDA board approved a 2018 budget of $287,650 with estimated revenues of $289,200. IDA Chairman Thomas Buffamante, First Vice President Joseph Higgins and second Vice President Joseph Snyder were reelected.

This year’s production will be “The Season of Praise,” by Joseph M. Martin, which portrays the Christmas story of the birth of Christ and events that led up to it through song and narrations. Director Annette Ieda said the 40-member choir has been learning the music for this year’s production and practicing in a series of seven rehearsals on Sundays since Oct. 29. She said members must attend five of the seven rehearsals to participate. The choir will be accompanied by Nikki White on the piano and Courtney Robinson on the ﬂute. Ieda said proceeds from a free-will offering taken at each production will benefit area food pantries in Ellicottville and Salamanca. A reception will follow each performance. “Please come and share this event with us,” she said. “You will be glad you did.” According to Ieda, Nancy Rogan is a big

helper from the church in Ellicottville and she’s been a part of the cantata since its beginning. She said Wendy O’Neil Hill of Salamanca organizes the choir. “I joined the Ellicottville choir about seven years ago and then Marcia Barlow, who was choir director, got ill and asked me to direct it,” her was nice because it made the Christmas choir bigger. She said people come from all over the area, not just from Salamanca and Ellicottville. They alternate the rehearsals, so they are practicing at each church every other week. “It’s just a wonderful thing for the community to give back and it’s the real spirit of Christmas because we are always singing about the Christmas story,” she said. Ieda said the choir started in the United Presbyterian Church in Ellicottville a number of years ago, and Rogan was the director prior to her taking it over. At the time,

Salamanca had their own cantata, but they called her to direct about three years ago. Because she was already directing the Ellicottville Cantata, she had to turn them down, but welcomed the Salamanca group to join them. “That’s how all the members got together to do the Christmas cantata and we’ve been doing it together for about three years,” she said. Ieda is a former music teacher at Lake Shore Central School in Angola, where she taught and directed a high school choir, as well as elementary-level vocal and instrumental. A member of several orchestras and choirs for about 32 years, she currently plays in several orchestras including the Orchard Park Symphony, Southern Tier Symphony, Jamestown Symphony and Wellsville Symphony. Her family has a string quartet. She said they play together and have given concerts as a family every year for 30 years.

Ebert Sylvester 1929-2017

Sylvester “Tut” Ebert, 89, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Ellicottville, NY died 23rd day, November, 2017 at 7:30 a.m. Mr. Ebert was born on August 7, 1928 in Mansfield, NY, one of fourteen children of the late Charles and Estelle Ebert.

In addition to his parents, Tut was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters. Mr. Ebert was a veteran of the United States Navy. Following his military tenure he worked as a truck driver for many years. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ellicottville and attended Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Bluffton. He was a member of the American Legion in Little Valley, NY. He enjoyed bowling, golf, horseshoes, baseball, snowmobiling, hunting, billiards, playing euchre and watching football.

Tut is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Vivian Ranke Ebert; son, John Ebert (Mindy); daughter, Karen Stokes; brothers, Alfred Ebert (Joan) and Harry Ebert (Sheila); sister, Beatrice Martinez; grandchildren, Tracy Stokes, Patrick Ebert (Rosie), and Michelle Martinez (Luis); and seven great-grandchildren. Celebrate the Season! Christmas Cheer in a Flash

There may be less than two weeks until Christmas, but there are still lots of fun, easy ways to make your holiday special this year! From new ways to enjoy your holiday cards to easy recipes to keep or share, there are still plenty of opportunities to savor the season and skip the stress. Now is the time of year when holiday cards from friends and family are arriving daily. Enjoy these thoughtful reminders of the many friends and family in your life by displaying them as part of your holiday décor. Don’t let those cards sit in a pile on your coffee table! Instead, use them to jazz up your kitchen cabinets so that these pretty cards are at eye level. Measure a length of grosgrain ribbon (about 2 inches wide) the length of your cupboard door and secure the ends together inside the cabinet using poster tack or thumb tacks. Use clothespins to hang your cards as they arrive so that the whole family can enjoy them! If wrapping lights or garland around your

staircase bannister is part of your annual décor, take it one step further and include your cards! Run a length of ribbon along the bannister just below your greenery and use clothespins to hang each card as it arrives. With just two weekends left until Christmas, you may find yourself hosting a holiday gathering or two. For an easy, festive treat, make cranberry dip, which is perfect to serve with buttery crackers or pretzels. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine 1 package of fresh cranberries (12 oz) with 1 cup of sugar in a 2 quart baking dish, stirring well to coat the cranberries. Bake, covered, for about 30 minutes, until the cranberries pop and release their juice. Remove the cranberries from the oven and stir in 1 cup of apricot jam and

1 cup of chopped pecans. Refrigerate overnight to blend the ﬂavors. To serve, allow an 8-oz package of cream cheese to come to room temperature, and pour the dip over it. Enjoy with crackers or pretzels! Headed to a holiday party or a cookie exchange? Easy salted caramel fudge drops are the perfect treat to bring along with you. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt 6 ounces of unsweetened chocolate and 1/3 cup of butter (cubed) in a microwave; stir until smooth. Cool slightly. In a large bowl, beat 1 package (17.5 oz) of sugar cookie mix, 1 large egg, 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and the chocolate mixture. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes

Remove to wire racks and allow to cool (makes 4 dozen). Cut a shea butter soap base (available in 1 or 2 pound blocks) into cubes and put them in a microwave-safe measuring cup. Microwave at 30-second intervals until the cubes are completely melted. Stir well after each session. Then, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil (peppermint is a great idea for the holidays!) and mix well. Pour the mixture into soap molds. Add a few drops of soap colorant (red is nice for peppermint) and use a toothpick to swirl the white shea butter and the colorant together. Allow to cool completely before removing the soap from the mold. Stack them and wrap with a ribbon for a nice gift!
