It’s here! Ellicottville’s Fall Festival takes over this weekend and you won’t want to miss the fun in the village and on the slopes. This weekend, Oct. 6-7, EVL’s biggest and oldest festival of the year is back, complete with music, races, rides, food, arts and crafts and endless fall fun. Started in 1975 as a way to bring people into the budding ski town of Ellicottville as the winter merchandise arrived in stores, Fall Festival has evolved into one that brings in countless people for many different reasons, and this year’s festival promises to carry on the tradition of non-stop entertainment. $3.2 Million in Upgrades at Holiday Valley
With $3.2 million invested in upgrades, Holiday Valley is making plans for an exceptional winter season. The crews spent the summer making improvements on their automated snowmaking system, installing a conveyor lift on the beginner’s slope, completing slope work including building several “tree trails” for kids and purchasing a new groomer and shuttle van. $250,000 is dedicated to automated snowmaking improvements. Holiday Valley began installing HKD Klix automated snowmaking in 2011 and has been expanding the See Holiday Valley, page A10

By Alicia Dziak HoliMont will soon be ready to welcome members and guests for the upcoming ski season. In the meantime, fall is full of ways to enjoy Ellicottville’s private ski resort. Perhaps the biggest change HoliMont has seen in the off-season is a new General Manager. Ed Youmans took over the position in June, replacing Dave Riley, who retired after 18 years. Youmans comes to HoliMont with a wealth of experience, having held key positions at several ski resorts all over the country.

QUAKER RUN — Allegany State Park is offering free, informative and handson clinics for those who want to learn how to Geocache, kayak, paddle board, fly fish or mountain bike, starting in October. On the first Wednesday of every month, various outdoor enthusiasts will share their knowledge and passion of their favorite activity and introduce park patrons with plenty of things to do. The series will be held at the new Quaker Bath House or the Summit Warming Hut, depending on the activity. This month’s program was about an in-depth talk on nature photography, which included going on a short hike and finding objects to photograph. Each program will last approximately 1-anda-half hours. ERA Team VP Challenges Local Businesses to Participate in Denim Days ERA Team VP Real Estate and Vacation Rentals challenges local businesses to partake in the American Cancer Society’s national ‘Denim Days’ campaign during the first weekend in October to support breast cancer and help save lives. The Franklinville/ Ellicottville football team looked ready to fight for a playoff spot on Saturday afternoon. But as coach Chad Bartoszek admitted after the game, the Titans, a younger and less experienced group than in previous years of deep playoff runs, made too many mistakes and committed too many penalties to knock off Cassadaga Valley/ Falconer on the road. The Titans led 7-0 at halftime but allowed three straight scores in the second half — including two touchdown runs by CV/F star back Robbie Penhollow — before losing 19-13 in a crucial Section 6 Class C South division matchup. The Titans lost the turnover battle, 3-2, including a pick-six by CV/F’s Brock Johnson to make it 19-7 early in the fourth quarter. And officials flagged F/E 10 times for 70 penalty yards compared to one flag for 5 yards against the Golden Cougars. The Titans outgained the Golden Cougars, 260226. “The defense played awesome,” Bartoszek said. “That was awesome, but we fumbled (to give them) a short field (before CV/F’s first touchdown). Due to some inconsistencies offensively, the false starts and fumbles, turnovers and the holding, calls like that where, man, we're not there yet. We're not good enough to do that. “So I'm proud of how we fought. We came back and we tried to give ourselves a shot, but inconsistent play, we're not good enough. We're just not good enough to overcome that.” The loss makes a Section 6 Class C playoff bid unlikely for F/E, which now trails CV/F, Randolph/Frewsburg and Chautauqua Lake/ Westfield by two games each in the win column for the second through fourth seeds in the division with two weeks to play starting against the Cardinals in Week 6. ECS Student Named County ‘Youth of the Week’ This week’s featured Youth Citizenship Award recipient is Linnea Jimerson, announced Dr. Anthony Evans, executive director of the Cattaraugus County Youth Bureau. Linnea is the daughter of Heidi and Philip Jimerson of Great Valley and is a senior at Ellicottville Central School. Over the past several years, Linnea has done much for the community. She has served Thanksgiving dinners to the elderly as well as having served at the Indian Foods Dinner in Salamanca for several years. She has participated in Project Christmas, where she has shopped and wrapped presents for families in the community, and Santa’s Workshop through Ellicottville School. Linnea has volunteered at the Dime Carnival through Ellicottville School and participated in the Octoberfest cleanup for the past four years. Showing her kind and giving
nature, Linnea has donated her hair three times to Locks of Love, the last time being her junior year of high school. Additionally, when Linnea was younger, she was so moved by the victims of Hurricane Katrina that she donated many of her brand new toys to those affected. Not only has Linnea been involved in the community, but has participated in school activities as well. She has been a member of band and chorus since she was in sixth grade, as well as the Jazz Chorus for three years and Jazz Band for two years. She was a member of Music Club and has been the treasurer, as well as having been a member of Student Council for two years. Linnea has played on the varsity basketball team since eighth grade and was a captain last year. Linnea has also played varsity volleyball since ninth grade and varsity softball since eighth grade. Linnea’s future plans are to attend JCC with a full academic scholarship and then moved on to a University to study Marine Biology. Salamanca Garden Club to meet Oct. 8 SALAMANCA — The Salamanca Garden Club will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 8, at the United Congregational Methodist Church at 134 Broad St. Members will participate in Fall Harvest Adventure, a special evening to introduce some new techniques for the fall garden at five interactive stations. Several members will be demonstrating and utilizing their fall harvests to further enhance members’ understanding while encouraging them to try some of these techniques on their own next fall. It’s a place where there are huge opportunities for me to do a lot of things that can make a big difference in a smaller organization … and I like that.” If you haven’t been to HoliMont in a while, Fall Fest weekend is the perfect time to check it out. On Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, the resort will be abuzz with activity. Enjoy the fall foliage from above and take a ride up the Exhibition lift to take in the views. Donations are welcome, but not required. You can even hike over to Holiday Valley when you get to the top, a scenic halfmile stroll. Back at the base, you can learn about membership and other great winter sports opportunities. Pick up your weekday pass before Nov. 8 for huge savings on weekday skiing and riding this winter. Head to the Slopeside Ski Shop in the main lodge for their annual clearance
event, with an array of miscellaneous items from past season selling for incredibly low prices. HoliMont will also have a tent in the high-traffic area along Monroe St. where they will provide information, host a Tiki Toss game with prizes and give passers by the chance to win lift tickets for filling out a survey. In the off-season, HoliMont crews were busy constructing a new flow trail going from the top of Greer to Base Lodge. While it won’t be open for Fall Fest, HoliMont’s marketing director Greg Culver, said it will hopefully be open before the snow flies. “We’re going to increase our mountain biking offering to include more trails and more availability,” said Culver, an avid mountain biker himself. Part of the new offering for mountain biking is the third annual HoliCross, a USAC sanctioned race scheduled for Oct. 20. Culver said this year, the course was lengthened to 2 miles, and the new terrain has been rolled and groomed all summer.
Vendors on-site for the event will include 42 North Brewing and Kickstand Crafts, among others. Guests can also camp out at HoliMont and take part in casual and group rides on Sunday. If you’re the type to wait till the last minute, there will be day-of-registrations starting at 8:30 a.m. race day. Racing, parking and spectators will all enter at the WestMont entrance located at Ridgeway drive, off route 242. There will be a fun kid course free to all racers 8 and under. All other racers will need a valid USAC license or buy a oneday license for $10 on top of the registration fee. The first 100 people to register get a free pair of HoliMont bicycle socks. Looking to try a new type of yoga? Look no further than Core Performance, which ill be hosting a complimentary Sculpt Yoga class on Oct. 15 at 5:30 p.m. Sculpt Yoga is a total body workout designed to exercise every major muscle group fusing yoga, weight training, cardio, and plyometric-style movements to focus the mind and body. The addition of cardio and weights makes Sculpt Yoga an atypical yoga class, setting it apart from other fitness classes. The class will be taught by Dr. Joe Stahlman, who recently moved here with his wife, Fileve, from Indiana. They are the new owners of Tickletown in Humphrey. Joe holds a Ph.D. in anthropology, and works as an anthropologist and an archaeologist. In his many roles, he employs what he learns about people and culture to make positive change. In the last 10 years, he has been an avid yoga practitioner. In 2012, he became a
Hatha Yoga teacher. A few years later, he discovered group fitness classes and has been going ever since. This past year, he became certified to teach Sculpt Yoga fitness classes. Joe describes his Sculpt Classes as “a vigorous, but safe yoga practice. A huge benefit of this style of workout is that it provides the opportunity for BOTH the advanced and beginner yogis to develop the muscles needed for an athletic and safe yoga practice (or whatever other activity you might do). Typically, people who take Vinyasa yoga classes tend to be flexible and muscle strength tends to be a secondary focus of their practice. Sculpt helps strengthen the muscles surrounding and supporting the joints.” Joe’s classes are an ideal way to cross-train for all sports because of his emphasis on cardio and strength training. The Klix system also has weather stations that monitor temperature and humidity so the guns can automatically and individually adjust to changes. The result is a better quantity and quality of snow made with less energy. The grooming crew will add a new Pisten Bully 100 grooming machine to their
fleet of six Pisten Bully 600’s. This machine has a smaller blade and tiller for shaping and maintaining terrain park features and other areas that require finer work including shaped snow learning terrain for beginners. The new groomer will also have an attachment for setting one or two cross country tracks on the
resort’s 15 km of cross country trails. Slippery Streets is an integral part of Holiday Valley’s beginner’s terrain. A new conveyor lift (moving sidewalk) will replace the existing handle tow and will make the trip up the hill much easier and enjoyable for beginners, especially snowboarders. The Holiday Valley
Mountain Crew cleaned out downed trees and branches in the woods between the slopes this summer to increase the area available for woods skiing and riding. They will also be creating “Tree Trails” that wind through the woods designed to give kids (of all ages) fun adventures off piste. If the weather

Holiday Valley will also be offering $8 chairlift rides on both the Spruce and Mardi Gras chairs

Two races are planned for those looking to burn off some energy and calories. On Saturday, Oct. 6, the annual Fall Festival 5K Run kicks off at 9:30 a.m. from Holiday Valley, when runners take to the local streets on this fun, challenging and climbing finish course. A fun post-race party takes place at the Holiday Valley Mountain Sports Center with light lunch, beverages and great door prizes. The following day, on Oct. 7, the Fall Festival Mountain Bike race takes over the mountain at Holiday Valley. Bikers will navigate the 4.7-mile course with challenging climbs and downhills, combined with amazing single-track sections. Compete for the door-prize

While it’s only October, we know that it won’t be long before the snow flies and the lifts start turning. With the opening of the ski resorts comes the start of lesson season, a time when hundreds of skiers and snowboarders—young and old alike—take to the slopes under the watchful eyes of their instructors. And at the head of it all is Allie Doro, Holiday Valley’s Snowsports School Director. Doro, an ECS graduate, came home to Ellicottville last year after attending Boston University and heading out west to teach in Steamboat and Aspen for a combined six years. During the 2017-18 season, she served as Co-director of the Snowsports School, sharing the position with Bob Armour, who had served as the sole director for two years prior. Last season, the pair worked together to make this season’s transition seamless. Doro learned a lot from Armor, complimenting his organization with documentation, his calm demeanor and great listening ear, as well as his ability to teach her specifically in a way that was different than his own way of doing something. Now at the helm, Doro’s plans include building up her staff, getting them more involved in training and self development, and promoting the school’s new mantra—”Learn to love winter! want,” said Doro. “I want people to be an enthusiastic as I am!” Doro thinks this will be accomplished in many ways. First, the Snowsports School hopes to draw in more beginner skiers and riders by offering affordable lesson packages that encourage people to take more than one lesson. The Rip 19 Card is a deal that enables users to purchase a Learn to Ski or Ride package and then receive a discount card for 25 percent off lodging, lift passes, rentals and lessons through December 2019. January is National Learn a Snowsport Month, with lesson deals all month long. On Jan. 11, Learn to Ski or Ride packages will be available for only $25. Doro would also like to see more experienced skiers and riders pushing their skills, and thinks a good way to do that is to get them into the terrain parks and race courses with their instructors. As part of this season’s capital improvements, Holiday Valley installed a 380-ft. “Magic Carpet” on Slippery Streets, which replaces the tow rope. “It’s so much easier to get on and off,” noted Doro. HV’s purchase of a Piston Bully 100 groomer is smaller in size and able to make tighter turns, which Doro said will aid in learning on the slopes. This machine has a smaller blade and tiller for shaping and maintaining terrain park features and other areas that require finer work including shaped snow learning terrain for beginners. At 9 p.m., ghost hunters will break up into small groups to gather evidence at the town hall, United Church of Ellicottville and the Ellicottville Historical Museum. Pumpkinville’s inaugural Sunflower Daze proved a great success raising money for the Pink Pumpkin Project in Olean. Pumpkinville’s owners Dan & Diane Pawlowski grew and sold bouquets of sunflowers raising $1,530.00 for the Pink Pumpkin Project, which provides financial and emotional support for women and men currently undergoing breast cancer treatments. All recipients must live within a 45mile radius of Olean. “This is just a drop in the bucket of how much money we’re going to raise in future years,” said Dan Pawlowski. “We saw just how generous visitors to Pumpkinville are.” Pumpkinville is celebrating its Golden Anniversary this season hosting an estimated 100,000 attendees with Fall Family Fun during its six-week season.

As the director, Doro will manage the 250-member school, which includes instructors and coaches for the Children’s Ski and Snowboard School, the Adult Ski and Snowboard School, the Lounsbury Adaptive Program, as well the Holiday Valley Race Team, Freestyle Team, Snowboard Team and Master’s Program. Of her staff of instructors, Doro said Holiday Valley looks for those who can really connect with the guests. “We want to make the experience really personal,” she said. “We aren’t preaching at guests. We want to know why they like to be
out there and how they learn best.” Doro is also very enthusiastic about the resort’s seasonal programs including Rangers, Falcons, Eagles and freestyle, race and snowboard teams. “We are always looking for new ways to challenge the home mountain students so our capital improvements with the groomer for parks and the tree trails for new destinations are working to do just that,” she explained. “We are also hoping to do more collaborative events among the programs and add some new events. It’ll be a great winter to be involved with our seasonal programs.” Most importantly, Doro adds, is that “we want everyone to have fun!” (This is quite fitting since Doro is known as “The Queen of Fun” in certain circles!) EVL Half Returns Oct. 28
On Saturday, Oct. 28, the village of Ellicottville will be filled with smiling faces in costumes and running shoes for the 5th Annual EVL Halloween Half Marathon and 5k. Both the half marathon (11 a.m. start) and the 5K (11:15 a.m. start) begin and end in the heart of town at 5 Monroe St. While the course gives competitors beautiful country roads to enjoy along the way, there will also be some dancing witches and a collection of cool costumed musicians to create an unforgettable race, giving all involved an excellent way to enjoy fall, Ellicottville-style. Race participants will receive custom designed medals, string backpacks, as well as men’s or women’s shirts. They also can choose to upgrade and add a quarter zip tech long sleeve, while supplies
last. Many Ellicottville merchants get involved with the EVL Half Halloween excitement and offer great discounts that weekend for runners, which athletes will receive in the race packet. This year, The EVL Half will be adding a new contest for local residents. There will be an EVL Half House Contest with an award given to the best Halloween-themed home decorated along the course in the village, town of Ellicottville and the town of Mansfield. Women’s roles are quickly changing in this world, but the credit often goes to celebrities or social media “influencers.” We overlook the innovators, the movers-and-shakers that live right next door. Susan Labuhn is Salamanca-born and raised. A true inspiration, she is the first female legislator of District 5, which consists of towns Cold Spring, Great Valley, Red House, and Salamanca, the city of Salamanca, and part of the Seneca Nation. On Sep. 26, I had the pleasure to sit down and meet with Sue (as she prefers). I was able to gather the inside scoop on how she got into politics and some advice for her fellow females. Would you be able to tell me a bit about your childhood? My father nicknamed me the “Protestor.” I was always a champion. I was always speaking up whether it was a puppy in need, kid I thought was being bullied, and being the sixth out of seventh child, I kind of had to stand up for myself anyways. When I was in seventh grade, a boy asked me to a church dance and afterwards he offered to walk me home. He stopped at the main street bridge and told me that he wasn’t allowed to go past the other side of the river because the immigrants lived there. It was an “aha” moment that kind of lit a fire in me, to fight. What was school like for you? In school, I was a social person. I wasn’t nosy, but I always have made (and continue to make) it my business to know what important things are going on. I was the head of the cheerleading-wrestling squad. I was able to open doors for us— we were actually asked to run an invitational! In situations where there was great risk involved, I still championed through. I don’t have a problem leading a pack. I ran for office my junior year, and won the vice-presidential nomination. I wanted to run for president my senior year, but we were still just women. My boyfriend encouraged another male friend to run

against me and of course I lost, but no hard feelings. What made you consider going into politics? I always liked politics, I held positions in high school, I was president of the Teachers-Association, and President of Three County School Nurses, but I still wanted to get into politics. My father ran for council twice, and won once, but he died two days later after winning the election. Politics is in my blood, and my opportunity to go into politics came soon after. Why did you decide to run for county legislator? Out of the blue one day, I was sitting in Langworthys with my 80-some-year-old mother. One of my friends said that they were trying to get someone to run for legislator. I spoke up and said that I was running, shocking myself. Walking out of the dinner, I was thinking that I should probably call my husband and let him know. What was it like running your own campaign? Well, I didn’t know anything, nothing about petitions, going door to door, platform, money for signs, none of that. I bought 50 signs out of my own money, thinking it was a lot when in reality it really wasn’t. With only help from my family and one friend, we went door to door, petitioned, called, and did what we needed to do. What was it like to win the election? I was like holy crap. I was in awe that I won. I said I would be the first
woman to win legislator in that district and I did it. What are some of your roles as being a county legislator? Well, I started out as the whip and worked my way up to assistant minority, then minority leader. I eventually told the Republicans that we needed to be more bi-partisan. Some adjustments were made and I eventually became vice-chairwoman. With that, I am also the Chairman of the Finance. We take care of the money. In addition, I am on the Senior Services Committee. Having a background in nursing made it a natural fit. What is your favorite thing about being a county legislator? Meeting the people. Truthfully, going through our county too. We have a beautiful county, they call us the Enchanted Mountains for a reason! What is your advice to girls who dream of holding a political office? Do it, don’t be afraid. Stop the barriers and excuses of why you shouldn’t, couldn’t, or wouldn’t. Do it. We need women in politics. Women are more apt to be problem solvers. Stop the barriers. Run for offices in school, run for local offices, school board, town board. Do it. Women are more prepared to solve problems, and are often more equipped to do it logically. Do it. Run for office!

Ski tuning in Ellicottville just got a whole lot more efficient! Thanks to the new Montana Challenge at Mud Sweat N Gears (MSG), a completely automated system makes the tuning process fast and The refurbished equipment came from a ski shop in Toronto, making its way to MSG in August. It’s from a company based in Switzerland with the North American headquarters in Boston, Mass.In order to get ready for the installation of the 5,000 lb. machine, extra supports had to be added underneath the flooring at MSG, and the floor also needed to be leveled. The machine arrived in parts, and was assembled on-site by the Montana staff. While a big perk of the investment is having more space in the back room of MSG, store manager Pat Wallace said it basically cuts the ski tuning time in half. “Our goal is to tune as many skis as possible in a short period of time and turn out a quality product,” Wallace said. The Challenge can handle two skis at a time, and once they are loaded into the machine, the tuner can program it to a variety of settings, able to accommodate specialty patterns like chevron and linear with its stone griner, and provide different angles on the edges. Once the wax is applied, the skis are put on an infrared waxer, which penetrates the wax
deep into the skis. (This piece of equipment was added two years ago, and is another time and space saving addition to the ski tuning department.) Wallace emphasized that they can also tune snowboards. In the past, a pair of skis took about 25-30 minutes for a complete tune; with the new
equipment, it can be done in 10-12 minutes. Wallace noted that cutting down on tuning time will also free up the staff to help in the front end of the store with things like boot fitting. MSG at 18 Monroe St., is open daily. Visit www. mudsweatgears.com for more info.

Certain tasks become necessary once autumn arrives. Whereas spring and summer were spent tending gardens and maintaining a yard prime for entertaining, autumn is about preparing properties to survive the winter. Just as with other jobs around the house and yard, fall clean-up can be done in a manner that is respectful to the environment. Leave plant stalks and leaves It is tempting to want to cut back perennials
and other greenery so a property looks neat. But as flowers and plants dry and drop to the ground, they help insulate the roots from the cold. They also provide a natural habitat and serve as a winter food source for birds and small animals. Rake leaves sensibly Power blowers and mulchers make fast work of leaves, but at the expense of the environment. Gas-powered devices discharge fuel exhaust into the air, contributing to greenhouse gas
emissions. Instead, reap the benefits of peace and quiet as well as exercise from manual raking. While raking, do not feel the need to remove every leaf. A certain amount of organic matter can be beneficial to the soil and even insulate the lawn somewhat. A leftover leaf here or there also may provide protection for insects and small animals. For example, many native bees spend the winter in tunnels in the ground, cracks in mortar, holes in dead wood, or within hollow stems, and they need lawn and garden litter to survive. Compost is a friend Spread a thin layer of compost on the lawn and in garden beds. Compost prevents weed growth, insulates and protects the soil and provides nutrients that will be needed once the spring busy season begins. By using compost, homeowners can reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers and weed killers. Check for drafts and leaks Fall is an ideal time to check windows and doors for

Drafts can cause home heating and cooling systems to work harder, expending more energy than necessary. Collect and harvest Be sure to gather any useable garden vegetables and fruits and prepare them for storage if they cannot be consumed in the next few days. Canning is a timehonored preservation method. Herbs and seeds can be dried and saved for use later on. Vacuum seal fresh basil and parsley. Take inventory Look at which items in the yard have seen better days and prepare to recycle or reuse them in different ways. Faded plastic planters can be used as impromptu bird baths in a garden. An old tire can be mulched and turned into soft material to put around a playset. Inquire as to the proper way to recycle plastic lawn chairs that may be broken. Autumn yard work should be performed in as eco-friendly a fashion as possible.

Letter To the Editor As Ellicottville readies itself to host it’s largest Festival of the year, we would like to let you know what we have been working on. The Special Events committee, Ellicottville Police Dept, Catt Co. Sheriff’s Dept, NY State Police, EVL Fire Dept., Village and Town Boards, Code enforcement, DPW, Chamber of Commerce, NYS DOT, along with input from local residents, merchants and bar owners have been working diligently since Nov. of 2012 on ways to improve Fall Festival as we know it. ZERO TOLERANCE is the LAW and will be strictly enforced. This means absolutely no
alcohol is allowed on village streets. You will not be allowed to leave an establishment or private property, walk to, from or within the village with open containers. Drink it or leave it. Public intoxication and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. NOISE LEVELS have been addressed with the local bars and beer tents. Outdoor live music will end at 11PM. quieter, background music until midnight. in accordance with the local sound level ordinance. Private homes are also be obligated to obey this law. PARKING: We strongly encourage carpooling, use of shuttles or walk!
Space is limited and illegally parked vehicles (including motorcycles) will be ticketed and towed. Fire lanes, hydrants, and sidewalks are not to be blocked. Observe all temporary and regular no parking signs. Remember that flagmen for private lots are not allowed in the streets. Note that illegally parked vehicles on private property are the land owners responsibility. BUSES: Hired bus drop and pick up site will be located at the DPW building on Mill & Martha Street. Parking for buses is on RTE 219, beyond Holiday Valley Rd at the old driving range site. Buses will
NOT be allowed to load or unload elsewhere. Bus lines will be notified of open container law, and are expected to adhere. Shuttle Service: Daytime loading site at Jefferson St & Martha St. Sat & Sun 10 am – 7 pm Evening site is at the New M&T Bank parking lot 7pm to 3 am, 7pm to midnight on Sunday The shuttle destinations are to most of the condos between the Village and Holiday Valley all other destinations will require the taxi service, Uber etc. Taxi Call: 375-TAXI, (Lyft & Uber), call in advance as they can be very busy. POLICE WILL NOT GIVE YOU A RIDE!
Rest rooms: There will be plenty of port-o-johns provided throughout the festival area, they are cleaned routinely, use them! Public urination is against the law and violators will be prosecuted. Emergency and First Aid location: Sheriff and First Aid trailers will be located on Washington St. across from Katy’s Cafe and Madigan’s. CELL SERVICE: Have a plan if the towers go down. Know where to meet if you are separated. VENDORS: Must display vendor & health dept. permits on tents and must park in the designated lots provided to you by the Chamber. Sandwich boards,
tables/chairs, merchandise, will not be allowed on sidewalks & tree lawns as to keep open to line of site for emergency personnel. Vendors are responsible for removal of their trash. Help make Fall Festival safe and enjoyable, if you see something illegal, report it, if you see a mess, clean it up. Play by the rules, the future of Fall Fest depends on it.
